Cannot thank Hadston & CBRE enough

We signed up to this property 2 years ago, when they first started marketing it. We fell in love with it and without questions wanted to proceed. Due to Covid, we did encounter delays which wasn’t a surprise with lockdowns / social distancing rules and people falling ill. As we’d previously purchased a new build we always new that things don’t always go to plan and especially in the current climate with supply issues and shortage of workers. At times it was stressful, but I cannot thank the team at Hadston and CBRE enough for consistently keeping us up to date with our apartment, keeping in regular contact and inviting us to see the property so we could look at the progress. They really took the time to build a relationship with us both, and get to know us which meant a lot.

When we moved in, I cannot put into words just how impressed we were with everything. The concierge team welcoming us, and so friendly. The team at Hadston were on hand to help move all of our stuff into our apartment. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and assured us that anything we wasn’t happy with in the apartment they would sort for us - weather that’s now or in 6 months time. After living in the flat for a week, it was well worth the wait and feels even more special now that we are in. The standard of the whole apartment is first class, and was better than we had ever imagined - hugely exceeded our expectations. I can honestly say this was the best decision we have ever made, signing up to the property, being patient and knowing that it would be well worth the wait. We couldn’t be happier here, and we couldn’t feel more at home.

We cannot thank Keith, Keith, Stuart and the rest of the Hadston team enough, for making our dream into reality and going above and beyond for us.

Buyers Beware

We bought a flat from this developer (Hadston Southwark) and we regret it deeply. The developer has been unprofessional and irresponsible in their communication and service. They have, by now, ignored our emails for months about the large number (close to 100 as detailed by our snagging surveyor) of defects - some of which are major such as a broken sash window that creates a noticeable draft in the winter, broken wardrobe door and drawers that render a quarter of it unusable, and missing silicone seals behind our bathroom sink resulting in water leaking into the cupboard below. Prior to completion, they have also failed to keep us informed about the progress of the construction and the completion date, which caused us a lot of stress and inconvenience. On at least 3 occasions over several months, they have promised a timeline but fell into radio silence until a few days after what they have initially promised, despite daily calls and follow-up emails from us.

The developer has misled us with their glossy brochures and show flats, which do not reflect the reality of their poor workmanship and total neglect of their customers.

We advise anyone who is considering buying a flat from this developer to stay away from them. They are not trustworthy nor reliable, and they do not care about their customers nor their reputation. I would recommend buyers of this flat who have experienced a similar level of non-service to file a case with the Consumer Code, as we have done, for their breach of numerous sections of the code that outlines the basic requirements for any property builder.
