Having just received a new lens direct…

Having just received a new lens direct from Brightin Star I was truly shocked at what I have been sent. Looking inside through the optics of the the lens at the individual lens elements they are covered in dust, hairs, smears and what look like scratches. I've honestly never seen any lens in this condition, no matter how old or vintage it may have been, in 50 years as a photographer. I contacted BrightinStar for a return but was sent a fairly complicated document asking me to undervalue and not accurately describe the contents on the return documents and this, combined with a returns cost of over 50 dollars meant that it just wasn't worth my time returning the lens. I purchased the lens having heard promising online reviews, but never again will I buy a cheap Chinese lens from someone else's online recommendation who was sent the lens for free in exchange for a review!!
