A "Faux" Company with Faux Leather

I don't know where to start. I would give zero stars if I could. I purchased Hackney leather barstools. They are actually faux leather. Following countless chat and email exchanges, which I can only describe as bizarre (some appear to be written by a child, others clearly AI assisted), the replacements arrived after 3 months. Surprise!! They are also faux leather. Following countless emails and having to send lots of photos, they insist the product is leather, which it isn't. Now 4 months has passed, and the original pair are still back in their box awaiting their courier, who failed to collect on two different occasions. The impression I have built is that Brightly Homes is a one person outfit who are pretending to be a large organisation. They have zero product knowledge, over promise and under deliver, rely on AI for their comms, which whilst grammatically correct, are normally factually incorrect. If you read this Brightly Homes, try to improve from it, The original courier (a guy in his car) showed me a photo of the collection location, it looked like a standard house hallway, probably your house. You since sent me a video of the replacement stool you'd knocked up in your lounge and tried to add some branding. In emails, you repeatedly referenced the warehouse team, product team, courier team etc. That's just embarrassing for you and for me. I rarely post online reviews. I want to warn potential customers, and I want Brightly to know how customers (me) see them

Awful Customer Service - Failed Delivery - Refusing Refund

Awful Customer Service - refusing to issue a refund

I ordered four chairs, but the courier (Royal Mail) was unable to deliver the items to my address because the parcel was too large. I requested a refund because I was unable to collect the large parcels from the Royal Mail Depot, as I do not drive.

Since the 5th of December (around 6 weeks), Brightly has not answered any of my emails, and the customer service number provided on their website is actually for their sales team (they won't help). So I have had to start the formal process with my Bank to get my money back due to breach of contract - avoid at all costs!

Good product, delivery could be improved

Good product, but delivery not very convenient. The product was delivered in a large wooden crate. Good if it’s B2B or you order to warehouse, not great when ordered to a flat and creates a lot of hassle moving it from the lorry to flat.

The service was good

The service was good. I had to wait a little bit for the delivery, but that was clear from the moment I made my purchase. It was worth a while waiting. I’m very glad whit the cushions. They have a good quality and they look very nice in my interior.

Awful customer service and returns

Ordered 4 chairs in October, which took months to arrive from China (it isn't mentioned that they manufacture there!) - with very little information on delivery timelines.

Once they arrived and unfortunately weren't right for our table, they then offered no feasible way of returning the product. Their suggested parcel company doesn't ship to China and other delivery companies are quoting prices in excess of the value of the chairs!

No one ever answers the customer service number and the email address is only responded occasionally after weeks of waiting!
