I've been using Brightpearl for over 10 years, and throughout that time, it has been a central part of our business operations.

What I particularly value about Brightpearl is that its usefulness extends far beyond traditional ERP functionality. Alongside managing products, orders, stock and financial data, I use it extensively for business analytics, reporting and integrations with other platforms, including WooCommerce and Amazon, as well as our own bespoke web applications.

Its API capabilities make it possible to connect Brightpearl to other systems and build custom workflows that suit the specific needs of the business. I also use its data for Power Query and business intelligence reporting, allowing us to analyse performance and extract meaningful insights that go beyond standard system reports.

For businesses that want to build their own integrations, automate processes and make better use of their operational data, Brightpearl offers a solid foundation. Its ability to sit at the centre of a wider technology ecosystem is one of its biggest strengths.

Having worked with the system for more than a decade, I've found it to be a valuable long-term platform that supports not only core business operations but also ongoing development, automation and data-driven decision-making.

We sell across Amazon, Shopify and eBay and manufacture overseas, so lead times are long and getting a reorder wrong hurts either way. Too little and we’re out of stock on Amazon and losing ranking, too much and cash is sat on a warehouse shelf.

Inventory Planner has taken most of the guesswork out of that. Forecasts pull from all our channels in one place, it factors in seasonality properly, and the purchase order suggestions are now good enough that we tweak them rather than build them from scratch. The overstock and replenishment reports have also been handy for spotting slow movers we’d stopped paying attention to.

It took a bit of time to get the settings dialled in for our lead times and safety stock, so give yourself a few weeks before judging the forecasts. Support were helpful when we got stuck.

The Brightpearl app is a robust and comprehensive solution that offers deep integration with both Shopify and Mirakl. It enables efficient management of Shopify POS and Mirakl transactions through dedicated channels within Brightpearl, while also supporting B2B sales operations.

We have been using Brightpearl for the last 2 years and have found the system good for supporting our day to day. It has helped us manage orders, fulfilment and inventory and although sometimes slow, have found the support to be helpful if an issue has arisen.

There a few missing features e.g. would be great to search orders by product name or SKU and more robust reporting would be good addition.

Brightpearl is an interesting product. Even though there are a issues with it, it makes it up by having exceptional support staff that are knowledgable and willing to go the extra mile to resolve issues that come up. Special shoutout to Mr. Harris. He has been a great help in resolving a ton of issues that pertain to our contact and company objects.

The demand forecasting tool of Inventory Planner has a great user interface, and now that we have got the settings perfect, we are very reliant on the information it provides to our suppliers and our wider team. We have been with Brightpearl for coming up to 10 years nearly, and we have seen it grow and work with us over the years. We have seen very little trouble over the years with use, but where we have had a problem our account manager and technical account manager have always been available and supporting us quickly with full resolutions to the problems.
