I would rate this lower but 1 star is the lowest I can give. I wish I’d read the reviews before wasting my time trying to get travel insurance with them. Customer service team are very unhelpful, rude and quite aggressive. I asked for a manager to call me back to discuss but she appeared to have received the same training!!
I have now got insurance from a reputable and helpful company. I would never contact this broker again and advise others to shop around.
Very helpful with my questions about travel insurance. The person on the phone knew what they were talking about and called me back when they said they would.
This is basically a spam, because they are not honest people. So better stay away.
I would rate lower however initially when purchasing the policy and before going on my holiday, The email had stated it was with Direct travel but when I did contact, the customer agents/service was helpful. However whilst on holiday I had a small accident/injury where I had to seek medical attention and paid. Once back from my holiday in the first week of August, I submitted a claim via the right path online portal. That wasn’t the easiest and long story short, til this day I am still awaiting a response and some of the monies back for my claim. I emailed twice with no response then called two weeks ago after it went past the estimated date by 7 day (working days may I add) that also changed which thankfully I had taken a photo of the dates changing and told it was in queue to be reviewed. It’s been 6 weeks and nothing! I took the policy due to my health conditions to be covered as well for my child on their first holiday but I am just so grateful it wasn’t a case of a more serious matter that required help or a claim as waiting this long is ridiculous. If I had known that it goes through another company to be processed , I would not have taken the policy with them and for that reason , won’t again. I did spend £80 for my holiday policy too.
Brokersure are the broker for AllSafe travel insurance. Read the reviews - They take your money and don’t pay in the event if a claim. You may has well have no holiday insurance and just give your money away. Read the reviews on Trust pilot and stay well away. How does a company like this come up on ‘comparison sites’ ..shame on them.
Not a great company, bought a premium package for our honeymoon, we could never have predicted a Pilot Strike in the middle of Africa, stuck on an island and had to spend a fortune on flights with another airline to get home....sorry sir your insurance does not cover this, nasty company and very unhelpful, don't give them your money, go to a reputable outfit, will never use again!
called about making a claim as the country turned red from amber during the trip. Then they said the policy was not valid at all even since the day it was bought. They say the government guidelines state all but essential travel at the time of purchase but there was nothing in any way stating that when it was purchased. I will never use again and I advise anybody to defer and find a more reputable company. The system should have blocked any insurance to the countries in the system it does not take that much but rather than do that the company would rather take your money. Lies and poor customer service..........
Took half the premium for a policy that hadn't started.
They took nearly 3 weeks to refund. Very unpleasant company to deal with.
In contrary to previous reviews I have to disagree. Their agent Ben answered within 2 rings, changed my details for free and sent new documents within 5 seconds. Well done. Don’t get this type of customer service very often so was a treat to receive.
I agree with the previous reviewer. My experience with this company was atrocious. Finally speaking to someone, I was outdoors when they called there was no asking ‘are you free to speak’ absolutely no empathy towards our current situation with Covid 19. I explained that I had rearranged my flight & hotel myself, and was looking to move insurance too. The agent actually said if I bought another policy with the same company (fit2travel) for next year, they would then refund me this years policy cost. Who on earth would do that! He also said that if I hadn’t rearranged I would receive full refund of holiday cost. See also fit2travel reviews and you will see a multitude of customers who haven’t been. I cancelled the policy and will be sure to avoid this company when I search in the future. I’ll be looking at reviews to see which companies get good marks from their customers. This most certainly will not be one of them.
o stars for zero service. everything cancelled way before deadline , no service used and no fault of my own. they didnt give a flying and only 50%back. please please please dont use these crooks
