Excellent. A left folding pedal would have been appreciated

It is a good folding bike! I use it on a daily basis to get to work and can take it with me in the train. Brompton is quite expensive. I payed 1100 euros for this A-Line. The components are imho not the quality you would expect for a 1000 euro bike. I have a 700euro Canyon with much better components. So you pay for the brand name Brompton imho. Still I don't regret the purchase, it is fun to ride it and easy to fold. I upgraded my bike with a no name rack and no name mudguards and replaced the suspension block with something that actually absorbs the shocks. As soon as the tires will be worn out, I will replace them with something a little broader.

The perfect entry bike into the Brompton universe! I picked a folding pedal as an upgrade right away and am planning to get other accessories (e.g. rear rack) over the next few months and years. Thanks for offering this great product to start your Brompton journey!

I use my Brompton for exploring other citys and places while travelling by caravan, train, car or ship. Best bike for this.

I am really disappointed of Brompton's engineering and quality control. My bike came with a warped front rim, making it impossible to properly adjust the front brake. The rear tire looses air before I rode even the first meters. Contacting customer support is a test of patience if you want to say it favourably. If you are really interested in customer satisfaction, please don't just reply with that standard "We are sorry ...", but contact me to get that thing picked up and fixed quickly instead of that odyssey you are perfoming right now. In my opinion, some of the components are a bad joke, considering the price of 1100€. Why is there no spring to align the hinge clamps by default? Why are the "non-easy" wheels so small that there are only a couple of millimeters between mudguard and ground? Why is the rear roller (the one mounted on the mudguard) constantly rattling while riding the bike on anything except perfectly even ground? Why does the rear suspension have about 1 mm play, allowing it to also rattle, i.E. when the assembled bike is carried or ridden over some uneven road?

The Model T of Bromptons. We have two we love both.

The Brompton folding bike offers a smooth ride and is perfect for city commuting or short errands. Its compact design makes it easy to store and transport, and the build quality is excellent. However, the folding system is a bit tricky—it doesn’t stay securely in place, so lifting the bike can be awkward as parts tend to pop out. Also, it lacks a stand, which I think should be standard for any bike, especially folding ones. Overall, it’s a great bike, but these two improvements would make it even better.

Brompton is not cheap but to get a 10 years used one for 80% I found too expensive. I upgraded this new one with cheaper ergo grips, battery lights, a used rack with rolls and a lightweight self fixed mudguard I gave my bike the name Toni.

Good morning, I am very happy with my bike. The only thing is that I had to take it to the mechanic because the gears were very loose, and the intermediate gear wasn't engaging properly, and I needed to adjust the brakes since the rear one was too close to the wheel and the front one was too far away. In summary, I didn't expect a Brompton to come so out of adjustment :-( "

This is my first Brompton and I love it. I think I have to pimp my A Line to make it Even better. It‘s a tramendous bike and there is a sélection of useful amendments available. The A Line is still expensive, but a start into the Brompton World and I have to say - it got another Enthusiast!
