The original blend is frankly excellent, and it keeps will in the pouches so I usually buy several. It's great value, the delivery is quick & cheap /free. If you like proper coffee but don't want to spend vast amounts of money, this is your stop.

Web site easy to use but froze on confirmation page so I had no idea whether my order had gone through or not. To my supprise the parcel turned up two days later.

Out of all the coffee I have tasted, Brown Bear is the best by far! ...in particular Blue Mountain and Sweet Brazil :)

The coffee is tremendous, and very reasonably priced compared to the majority of comparable tasging coffees I have purchased elsewhere in the past. Fab and friendly customer service too!

Like many of you, I've tried to cut back on my caffeine intake of late, but let's face it, most decaf is worse than no coffee at all. So I had a little sample of my traditional providers and nothing popped up (even the more expensive ones came up short). Then I came across Brown Bear. Their tasting notes are accurate, their decaf isn't bitter (which can be a challenge), and it loses none of the body. Plus even with postage, it is practically supermarket prices.

(And for the times when I'm treating myself, their original blend has chocolatey notes, a buttery mouth feel and a great finish - a great place to start if your trying them for the first time.)

Their customer service is also first class. There was a hiccup with the delivery company, but their care team sorted it quickly and I got some extra loyalty points for my trouble - can't say fairer than that!

My top tip is to bulk order. The postage is a one off fee, so doesn't go up for each item (and it is free for orders over £30).

I found Brown Bear in my search for a manual coffee grinder. Based on recommendations, I was looking for a Hario Skerton grinder, which BB carries and at a very competitive price. I decided to try their coffee at the same time and ordered two varieties. I qualified for free delivery, which was advised to take up to five business days, but it arrived not even two days later. It's exactly as advertised, and the coffee is lovely. I'd be happy to recommend BB to anyone, and will use them again myself.

Bought a hairo hand grinder and a bag of coffee. Free delivery, dispatched and delivered really quickly! Grinder and coffee beans are great!

Relationship was rocky at the start. First order made a few days before Christmas, and the ship date I was given came and went with no coffee. I emailed BB after a week or so and they responded immediately with apologies, said one of my coffees requested was essentially backordered, refunded my shipping charges, and gave me a 10%-off-next-purchase coupon. The original order showed up in a few days, and I've since placed and received a new order expeditiously. The coffee itself is most excellent (though I guess I would feel better if it were certified fair trade?). In sum: 4/5 stars. All in all, I expect to continue using the service.

Have ordered an aeropress gift set from Brown Bear before and got some of their lovely coffee beans to try. The Christmas Blend was delicious. Recently ordered 5 different blends - all smell and, more importantly, taste amazing. Can't believe I took this long in life to make the leap from rubbish daily instant to consistently great fresh beans. Great quality, quick delivery - highly recommended supplier.

The Blue Mountain coffee tastes superb, I would recommend it to anyone and I will be placing another order again for different coffees very soon.

Got quality coffee, fast delivery. Don't bother paying for next day delivery as in my experience the coffee always arrives the next day anyway.

I was given a espresso maker and coffee bean grinder for Xmas and decided I needed to find better quality beans than you find in your supermarket. Brown bear's website quickly got my attention and decided to order mambo Italiano and original blend. So far I've only tried mambo Italiano but instantly fallen in love with it. I know have vary high hopes for original blend and plan on subscribing to at least one or both coffees for regular monthly delivery's. Everyone that's a serious coffee lover needs to try brown bear coffee.
