The ability to export and import data between schools is horrendous. Files don’t open, and normal school software isn’t matching to software needed for data.
Very poor

I was very impressed with all the information supplied before the purchase and would like to say how easy it was to contact someone regarding the questions we needed answering. I would like a helpline for technical difficulties but that is something I need to investigate.

We had a really helpful meeting with Dale where he showed us and talked us through the program. He was really knowledgeable and was able to answer our many, many questions!

Since subscribing to BSquared we found the help and instructions to be really clear and enabled us to set up the system for our school quickly and without any problems.

The online training videos for staff have been a fantastic resource, especially at this time of remote working and learning. They are really easy to use and follow and our staff team have commented on how good they were and how they already feel confident to use the system.

We can't wait to start using it for our assessment now.

Slow response time entering data, could be more intuitive and user friendly (eg for entering a whole class set of data for a single taught objective in a lesson as a group rather than individually), awkward to find students who are mixed between different classes per subject, but entered on the system by forms).

Fairly easy to use once you are used to the system. Would like to be able to upload more than one attachment though.

In a quick glance, you can see the progress a child makes. It is easy to use and quick to get a progress update. The only negative is that it takes so long to fill in initially, but when you have it all set up, it works well.

Felt I needed more help in set up even though I did have webinar training, it felt quite difficult to set up.

Sometimes finding the simplest of answers is tricky.

I don't have all school pupils on for assessing. I would like to access all pupils in an alphabetical or chronological age list so that I can see at a glance when their last assessment was done, or what level step they are on now. I can access a list of sorts in CSAM 'overall progress' but it's not alphabetical or chronological.

I think the training videos are great - however, i wish they were broken down into short chapters so it was easy to access the bit you need rather than watching the whole thing. My teachers would prefer this too. Although having told them where to get help and what to read and what to watch... not sure they have!

Overall though, I think its going to be beneficial when teachers have got to grips with it.

Great system. Only downfall is lack of options when it comes to printing!

Can track small steps of progress. New assessment tools covering engagement steps are excellent. Evisense is brilliant way to show evidence. Well done B squared.

We have always found BSquared resources for tracking our pupils to be excellent: easy to use and flexible enough to cope with a wide range of needs. In addition the first Virtual SEND conference was excellent value for money: full of good content and made available in formats that provide ongoing access to the information.
