Complete scam. Product doesn’t deliver what you need, I looked to trial, tool is awful to use. Now they’re charging me for something they can’t deliver. Stay away. They also replied in their first response for this saying they acknowledge that their process is not transparent and that they need to review it as the subscription is not clear and then they edited their response; I have a copy of the original screenshot. Such a dodgy illegitimate company, unable to act with any integrity.

This company is a scam. They make you believe that you're making a one-time purchase of $1, then later you later that the $1 was actually for a 7-day trial of a $55 per month subscription. This is never clear on the website and thoroughly hidden in obscure links. This is a bait and switch scam, pure and simple. I advise all people that got scammed by this company to dispute the charges and initiate a chargeback.

1 star because I cannot put 0 star. Shady automated subscription process I didn’t want to buy but ended up with and very difficult to cancel. Not amical support and no good will to find a solution. They are scammers

The fact it was subscription was buried in a separate t&c’s link at checkout.z I took a video and showed them. This is against eu regulations. Their response:

“ We have reviewed the video you provided. We appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback regarding our checkout process. Please be assured that we have shared this with our technical and legal teams to ensure our pricing transparency aligns with all local consumer regulations and to improve the user experience.

As mentioned in our previous message, we have already processed a full refund for the £29 subscription charge. You should see this reflected in your account within 7 working days”

FRAUD!
I paid 1$ to use the service and days later they charge me 55$!!! I wrote and they don't want to change anything.

Scam app - avoid - they will charge you due to terms and conditions buried in agreement.

Bubbi charged my account out of nowhere, with no email, no invoice, no confirmation, nothing. I paid £1 for what was clearly presented as a one‑time service. There was absolutely no mention of any monthly subscription whatsoever, or I would never have used it.

Then suddenly money starts coming out of my account without my consent. No welcome email, no subscription notice, no reminder just silent charges. After checking Trustpilot, I realised this exact thing has happened to hundreds of people.

This feels deliberately misleading and completely unacceptable.
Avoid Bubbi at all costs.

If I could give it zero stars I would, I never authorized them to charge my card. SCAM!! Do not use their services.

Buppi appears to be designed to push users into a subscription while quietly retaining card details. What looks like a one-off service quickly becomes recurring charges, with no clear confirmation or paperwork provided.

No confirmation emails are sent, which makes chargebacks difficult and frustrating. The positive reviews do not reflect my experience and should be treated with scepticism.

The company’s structure and overseas location raise further concerns. Overall, this feels like a misleading subscription trap. Be warned.

This is a great website, highly recommended. The apps are very functional, and I’m able to produce high-quality images with minimal effort. The tools feel polished, the workflow is straightforward, and the results are consistently sharp. It’s saved me a lot of time, and I’m genuinely impressed with how reliable it is.

ZERO stars, DO NOT use this company, they will charge you monthly even after you "cancel"

First and foremost, this service DOES NOT work! While it does this magic that makes it look like it's making your image better, it does not. You still end up with a low quality picture. Secondly, I was charged twice for this service. The company refused to issue a credit and refused to cancel the service immediately. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

I paid AU$1 for what was presented as a one-time image conversion. At no point was it made clear that this would start a recurring subscription.

Weeks later, AU$59 was taken from my card without my informed consent. There was no subscription confirmation email, no receipt, and no notice that a subscription even existed.

When I contacted support, I was told the subscription was disclosed somewhere in their pricing page and terms and that I should log in to cancel. That is not informed consent. If a service is recurring, it must be clearly and prominently disclosed at the point of payment.

After looking into it further, I discovered hundreds - HUNDREDS - of similar complaints describing the exact same experience – a low-cost AU$1/£1 charge used to enrol users into an undisclosed monthly subscription, with no notifications and resistance to refunds.

I’ve initiated a chargeback with my bank and reported this to Scamwatch and the ACCC.

Avoid this site.

I also paid $1 only to be charged $35 a month later. Very deceptive operation here. Stay away from this site.

Horrible. Charged me 50CHF and I only got a one time photo. Not responding to my Email. Do NOT use.

Days later, £29 was taken from my account without consent.
No email confirmation. No onboarding. No notice that a subscription existed.

After researching, I found hundreds of identical complaints reporting the same issue. This appears to be a pattern, not a one-off mistake.

The charge has now been cancelled, but this should never have happened.

Proceed with extreme caution.

Rip off. They hide away the fact that they will automatically bill you £29.99 per month after you pay £1 for a 7 day trial. STEER CLEAR.
