It is really hard to get the sensitivity correct - the fall alert goes off frequently even when just moving your arm in normal day to day activities like brushing your teeth. we are very very frustrated with this product.

SOS button is too easy to press accidentally. Also, I needed to change the account billing info and contacted customer services. I was told I would be sent an email with a link to enable me to change billing info and it never came.

The product did not, in fact, suit my circumstances for several technical reasons being unexpectedly poor range, poor battery life and the number of elements that needed charging at different intervals.
The after sales service, being most important was excellent as I was allowed to return the product and refunded with no questions asked.

Buddi is good. Reassuring to have with the backup .
At the moment for me it is too sensitive and not loud enough as I don’t hear too well….it’ll go off without me doing a lot and I don’t hear it….this is quite anxious making as I don’t wasn’t to alarm my team unnecessarily

Unfortunately I have not been able to use my Buddi because I cannot get it onto my wrist; it would be difficult enough for a young/able-bodied person but I am 74 and have severe arthritis so I cannot even try brute force. My daughter was going to try to devise a way for me to be able to use it but she hasn`t been fit enough to visit me for some time (she has MS and lives a three-hour drive away) so I have been paying over £21 per month since last September for nothing. Regrettably I have to say that, although it`s a great idea, given that it would be intended for the elderly and/or infirm, it is not fit for purpose.

I got this for my mum who is 65 and still active (but has dizzy spells/falls as part of an ongoing condition) as it looked good and said it would detect a fall and let me and my siblings know. As she has a mobile and is out and about it seemed like a great product. However it goes off when she is shaking out cushions but does not go off and alert us when she actually falls. She has had a few nasty falls and we were not alerted.
When I called customer service I was informed that it would only work if she actually fell on it which seems ridiculous as who falls specifically on one part of their body? And that there was a panic button for her to press to alert us. The issue we have is what would happen if she fell and wasn’t conscious so couldn’t press the panic button. As part of the marketing it specifically says it detects a fall from a change in movement (nothing about having to fall directly onto the wristband). I was not offered a refund for the product only the option to cancel the monthly subscription.
I was pleased to find a falls monitor that's small and unobtrusive and doesn't cost too much each month. The fact that it's a UK product is a great bonus! It's easy to use, easy to wear and keeps one charge for over a week. I damaged a strap by catching it and have received excellent customer service from them sending a replacement free of charge very quickly. I am happy to recommend both the product and the company.

My father recently put a review on Trustpilot as he was very unhappy with his Buddi wristband.
He would like to thank George an Kelly from the customer service department who helped him to resolve the issue.
He is now very happy with his wristband and it gives the family peace of mind knowing that the strap is staying on his wrist.

Customer services are 1st class. Unfortunately the products buttons kept breaking for us and the watch was too sensitive in sending alerts false fall alerts for our elderly mother.
However the Buddi support team was excellent in trying to help resolve issues and replacing the faulty watches and refunding return postage costs etc. Your experience may be different to ours so please try them without the worry that issues won’t be resolved promptly.

Device was much much too sensitive for my moderately active parents. We we’re getting alerts 3 times a day. Customer service was responsive and we returned without issue

The wristband is very badly designed. It’s extremely difficult to do up and easily falls off which means it often gets lost.
Also very difficult to line up the battery in the charger to get the flashing green light.
Would not recommend this to anyone.

The few non medical incidents I have had with Buddi are of my own clumsiness, not problems with Buddi or response to false calls responding to said clumsiness.
