I’m very happy with my purchase

I’m very happy with my purchase! The selection and checkout process was simple and smooth, and my order arrived quickly, exactly in the week that was promised.

The roses were professionally packaged in a lovely Bulbi box, and all three plants arrived healthy, strong, and already showing fresh new growth.

I truly hope they will thrive in my garden and reward me with many beautiful blooms. Thank you for such a great experience!

Broken goods

No promise, only partial success

Unfortunately, success rate is not satisfactory, about 35% never grew, 1 root out of 3, or none at all.
But some are excellently vital. No promise. Good thing are sales.

In some cases, certain roots or bulbs may also need more time to establish themselves before showing visible growth. That said, a result like you describe is of course not what we aim for.

Very poor performance of Iris Reticulata

I have grown flower bulbs for many years. I ordered two batches of Iris Reticulata for a considerable sum of money on 1 December 2025 (246,65 EUR) and 26 December 2025 (206,75 EUR).
Unlike the Iris Reticulata which I ordered from Peter Nyssen, which are flowering beautifully, the ones from bulbi have all shrivelled up in just a few days.
Scandalous.
This company claims to offer a 100% blooming guarantee. This is the blooming season for Iris Reticulata, and Bulbi’s bulbs have turned out to be dreadful. I would like my money back please.

I am quite incensed at this situation and have therefore, extraordinarily, taken to a public forum to highlight this matter.

We fully understand how frustrating this must be, especially when you have many years of experience growing bulbs and when you compare them with bulbs from another supplier.

We would first like to say that we genuinely regret that this situation has led you to post such a review. Until now we had not received any message from you about this issue, so we were unfortunately not aware that there was a problem with these orders.

Flower bulbs are natural products and their performance can sometimes vary depending on planting time, soil conditions and moisture. In the case of Iris reticulata, the bulbs are often delivered in a dormant state and may appear dry or shrivelled. This is not unusual, especially toward the end of the season, when the bulbs have been harvested earlier in the year and are awaiting planting. Once planted, they need sufficient moisture and typically several weeks in the soil to root properly before flowering.

We also noticed that your orders were placed on 1 December and 26 December, which is relatively late in the planting season. When bulbs are planted this late, it can sometimes take longer for them to establish themselves and begin flowering. In some cases the bulbs focus first on rooting and will then flower normally the following season.

That said, we completely understand your concern and disappointment. The quality you describe is certainly not what we aim to deliver, and we take feedback like yours very seriously. For this reason we also offer a 100% flowering guarantee. When bulbs do not perform as expected, we always look into the situation and work together with the customer to find a fair solution.
