The delivery was superb and arrived next day. I typically get the whey isolate. Last time I got pistachio ice-cream. This time I surprised myself and got clear whey isolate - Cherry Bomb flavour. The flavour is really nice.

Game changer !!
I’ve tried more whey proteins than I care to admit, always battling that unmistakable “aftertaste” that no amount of flavouring ever truly hides. So I approached this Banana Whey Protein Isolate with low expectations — and it completely surprised me.
From the very first sip, it was a game changer.
No unpleasant aftertaste.
No gritty texture.
No lumpy bits drifting around the shaker.
Just a smooth, subtle banana flavour that tastes fantastic even with water. I haven’t bothered mixing it with milk because, frankly, it doesn’t need it.
Delivery was prompt and well packaged, and while the product is slightly pricier than some alternatives, it’s absolutely a case of “buy cheap, pay twice.” I’ve wasted enough money on tubs that ended up in the bin — this one won’t be joining them.
I’m genuinely impressed and can confidently say I’ll be reordering. If the other flavours are anything like the banana, there’s something here for everyone.

Great product and mixes well with water or milk. At a reasonable price.
Great taste on most of the flavours of Whey Protein Isolate that I have tried. The only one I personally didn't like was Pistachio Ice Cream.

Not what I was hoping for
Beef Protein Isolate (unflavoured): Not for me at all, I found the taste and texture really unpleasant, so I regret buying it. I hoped that because it was unflavoured I could add it to food, but that wasn’t the case. I tried it both as a drink with water and mixed into meals, and both ways made me feel nauseous, so it ended up in the bin.
The pancake mix was slightly better, but still not great. I couldn’t finish them (and I love pancakes), so I’d say don’t expect them to feel like a treat.
Overall, I don’t think I’ll be ordering again.

peach tea whey
Got a few products from bulk, the hydration drink in mixed berries, and the clear whey isolate in peach tea flavour. Pretty good for reaching protein goals and staying hydrated. Easy to add to my water bottle or just mix in a smoothie for a boost.

Ive ordered from Bulk for years. yes their products and choice are a plenty which is great! I just get frustrated with the ‘discounts’ whey isolate 2.5kg at £89.99.. it’s never been priced at £132.99 since I’ve been shopping here so it’s not a discount you’re getting imo, just false advertising thinking you’re saving. When emails are sent out to review their products, maybe give the customer an incentive to do so as they’re taking time to do so. There used to be great honest deals/offers previously which was one of the reasons I used BULK but it feels like they’ve lost their way a bit. Some products I’ll still buy as they’re priced fairly imo but on others that are just too pricey, I can find just as good quality at a cheaper price elsewhere .. sorry guys

Protein powder does not disolve
Protein powder does not disolve in liquids.
I was in need of a replacement and refill of my old protein powder so gave the whey beef isolate a try. Worst protein powder yet. Clumps at the bottom, doesn’t mix well followed guidance and even added more water. Do not buy it. Only reason it’s not 1 star is because the intra workout I bought is helpful and tastes fine, no issue with that

Great product
It was a quick delivery and it is a great product which I trust compared to some that I have tried off the shelf which were cheaper but with me having copd I have a doctors referral for the gym which I love and I found I didn’t feel too well after taking some of them but bulk powders are who I always turn to because of the quality
Not the cheapest but you only get what you pay for ,the creatine dope is particularly good along with the pure whey isolate I would recommend these products .

I’ve been using this protein isolate…
I’ve been using this protein isolate recently and honestly, I’m really impressed. It mixes super easily, no clumps, and the texture is smooth which makes it easy to drink anytime.
The taste is actually really good too (I got plain chocolate flavoured) — not overly sweet or artificial like some others I’ve tried. It’s been great post-workout and even as a quick protein boost during the day.
Overall, solid quality and does exactly what I need it to. Definitely one I’d keep using 👍
