FAILURE

Purchased 20 silver eagle coins through their Ebay site. They got their money via PayPal, but three days later they said I lacked “data points” and my order was cancelled. Don’t do business with this company, you will be disappointed!

Nothing but good experiences

Nothing but good experiences. I have placed multiples orders over the last six months. Mostly certified platinum and silver bullion. I have always received high end product on the bullion side. Your first order is cumbersome and they could ship quicker one they have cleared funds. That is what I put up with for the best prices.

Sure wish I had paid more attention to…

Sure wish I had paid more attention to the reviews.
I have bought from BE many times thru Ebay with no problems.
I thought I would try their web site to save a few bucks and lost over 6k with them.
I places three separate orders three days in a row thinking they would ship each order when my checks cleared- like they stated. Instead, they shipped all three orders in one medium flat rate box from the PO.
My orders were: 2-100oz silver bars--another 2-100 oz silver bars,
and 2-100 dollar face value silver coins. That would be about 41 pounds of silver.
First they sent shipping info to the wrong email and when I finally got that straightened out my order was here-at the PO. The postal girl had the box on her side of the desk and there was no apparent to the box.
When i got home and opened the box the only thing in the bos was the two 100$ face value coins. I immediately returned to the post office and talked to the receiving clerk and the front desk clerk. They both verified that the package had some weight but no where 41 pounds.
I've asked BE for pictures of their packaging and also for the receipt form the PO but they won't/can't provide them.
BE evidently has private insurance and once you sigh for the package they no longer cover the loss even if you can prove the package didn't have the contents stated.
There was a hole in the shipping box that had been repaired. It was big enough to allow one bar to poke thru the side at a time.
The USPS has been trying to locate the lost bars but hasn't so far.

Was seriously thinking of buying here…

Was seriously thinking of buying here until I read the reviews. When dealing with precious metals and other forms of investments, negative reviews are a deal killer in my book. I am not about to order from a company who reserves the right to cancel a paid order or who puts the onus on a customer for locating a package that was never delivered.

Buyer Beware....

Buyer Beware....
I spent 18K and purchased silver at its low of the day....they Canceled my order on the 3rd day ...stated the C/C was denied ....

I contacted my bank and they told me the purchase went thru and Bullion Ex. were the ones who had cancelled the order...

They cancelled my order because Silver had gone up .65 and they refused to honor my purchased at the price i paid. Since I purchased 1000 ounces I lost $650 because I purchased from this unethical dealer.

They say they price match

They say they price match. But, they won't actually match prices. Also, their pricing is deceiving. The site will say a price and then when you go to the item, that price is only for quantity. I've called them about this and they have never corrected this. Shop somewhere else, there are a lot of better sites.

Stay away - look at other vendors

What a company. I ordered couple of gold maple leaf coins on 8/14 10:45 PM and wired the money immediately. They received the $$ in AM 8/15. I called them on 8/15 - to confirm receipt as well as reaffirm their shipment schedule. I was promised by the lady in customer service it will ship Wednesday as they had the funds. I check online Friday (8/17) to check if they have shipped - they had not. So I called again. Spoke to customer service - guy named Rich. Who says it can be anywhere from 1-5 business days for shipping - but that he expects it to ship 8/17. On 8/22 - I check again - no shipment. I called and spoke to Rich again - he goes it will ship today or tomorrow. I am like - do you even look at the order before giving a response. He finally did talk to shipping, upon my insistence, and said its being put in shipping queue and will ship by tomorrow. Seriously bad customer service and general service level from this company.

BEWARE unethical seller

BEWARE unethical seller. This is the second time they have cancelled my Ebay order when the cost of gold/silver has gone up after my purchase. Then they held my money for 5 days before refunding. Obviously, they should not be offering a product at a price they are unwilling to honor.

Sent coins that were advertised as BU

Sent coins that were advertised as BU. One was not and I sent it back for credit. I have never received credit, they stated that they sent the credit to my credit card, but my card company has no record of receiving credit. I have asked for proof that the company has sent the credit but have not received anything from. Will not deal with this company again. I have never had a problem with JM Bullion or Ampex.

Absolutely ridiculous company to work …

Absolutely ridiculous company to work with. Purchased something on sale and then they refused to ship it. Seems to me like the price of silver went up and they could find better profit somewhere else. I have ordered from apmex and jd bullion for years with no problems. Tried these guys out and what a flipping mistake.

First time ordered and will not order …

First time ordered and will not order again. I ordered the
2017 S US Mint Limited Edition Silver Proof 8-Coin Set ASW 2.34 oz (w/Box and CO through Ebay. They disclosed no returns. I now know why. One of the coin capsules was severely damaged like that had took it out of the set and dropped it. I asked for a exchange and they said that they would send out a new capsule and I could remove the coin and put it in the new capsule. This is a collectors item. I never received the new capsule. I do not trust this company.

Excellent experience

Excellent experience. I sold some items, i.e. I was a seller, not a buyer. The process was flawless, and from the person I spoke to on the phone (Christine) to the person I dealt with at the store (Ben), they were all professional and friendly. I got the idea they had done many many transactions like mine, which was reassuring since I've done very few! Since I live relatively nearby, I chose to deliver, not mail, my items. I was a bit nervous about carrying valuable items with me, but I understand there are a lot of undercover police on 47th Street, and I never felt unsafe. Plus there are many many stores with valuable items in them on that block: jewelry, diamonds, coins. Regarding the process, I think I could have been in and out of the store in about ten minutes but I chose to wait to confirm the funds were actually IN my account after being wired. That added about 15-20 minutes but I was happy to stand around to confirm receipt of the money, especially since it was my first experience at Bullion Exchanges. I would absolutely go back, and definitely recommend Bullion Exchanges. No reservations.

Unprofessional and dishonest

Ordered some silver bars as a first-time customer just to try them out. That experience went well.

Later in the same month, ordered a gold bar using same credit card. After sending me order confirmation and notice of transaction approval, I get another email saying order disapproved, money will be refunded. Explanation was, "you are using a forwarding address," which was a lie. I was using my secured, personal mailbox with UPS, since security is very tight, there.

Wrote them and asked them to check order history, it was the same address to which they'd mailed the silver bars. They then responded by saying, "credit card problem." Also a lie, I called my issuing bank who assured me all was well, and as standard practice I do not carry a balance.

So I then asked them "which issue is it: shipping address or credit card? Your story keeps changing." To which they replied, "just because you order a product doesn't mean you'll be approved. Our team reviews all orders and is not obligated to approve them, even if you've paid."

My guess? They're advertising product that they do not have.

In any case I was refunded my money, with lesson learned.

Avoid Bullion Exchanges: they can't be trusted, they're not honest or professional, and their integrity is zero. The 5-star reviews are most likely shills.

1st time customer had problems

My first use of this store. My shipment was mis-delivered to the wrong home by the USPS.
This was not the shipper's fault.
I called the shipper and they acted like it was my problem and I needed to try to find the lost package through the USPS. As a former employee of a transport company, I know the contract to deliver is with the paying shipper, NOT with recipient, and that THEY are the one who needs to file a claim if there is a loss. They should have taken responsibility and gotten involved instead of pushing this off on me.
[NOT HOW I WOULD HAVE HANDLED IT IF THIS WAS MY BUSINESS AND MY REPUTATION WAS ON THE LINE].
I did find the answers and fortunately the package was recovered and delivered to me. It worked out OK (but wouldn't have if I had not pursued the issue).
