Anyone who has paid good money to…

Anyone who has paid good money to subscribe to this ‘dating site’ must need their heads examined. Totally inundated with ‘photo verified’, yet obviously, fake profiles; they outnumber the genuine ones by 9 to 1. Efforts to help clean up the site by formally reporting the fake profiles achieves absolutely nothing. Don’t waste your time nor money guys.

Account blocked without reason – €99.99 subscription not refunded despite formal complaints

After many months spent without any issue, On February 26th, Bumble blocked my account without any clear explanation or warning.
I had paid for a subscription on December 26th (€99.99), but I was unable to use the service after the block, while I had paid for 6 months.

Despite multiple emails to the support service, Bumble has:
Never provided a reason for the block.
Refused to refund the unused portion of my subscription.
Ignored all my formal requests, including a letter with acknowledgment of receipt sent to their Dublin office.
I have already filed complaints with:

The French DGCCRF
The Irish CCPC
UFC-Que Choisir (French consumer rights organization)
If Bumble does not resolve this issue within 7 days, I will escalate to a certified mediator under the Digital Services Act (Article 21) and initiate a chargeback through my bank.

This is not how a responsible company should treat its paying customers. Avoid Bumble if you value fairness, transparency and respect of the law.

Bumble is sneaky AF with charges now

Bumble is sneaky AF with charges now, they must not be doing very good if they have updated their terms without notifying users that any payment you make now will be auto renewed until you cancel. NO REFUNDS OR EXCEPTIONS, per them. I was unable to pay my bills this month because of them. Thanks Bumble! You're the absolute worst.

Purchased Bumble Boost for $20 for a single week. It used to be billed to my apple ID subscriptions. I verified it was cancelled. Bumble continued billing me $20/wk because they changed the payment method to my Apple card and not my Apple subscriptions. I requested a refund and for several days they were not able to find my account. Then they said they will not issue a refund. I cannot even use the service as my personal phone is broken. $20/wk is an exorbitant fee compared to all the dating app competitors. This is a predatory business. Do not use Bumble. They charge exorbitant fees and do not care for their customers.

Restricted swiping

Restricted likes!! And way too many fake profiles!!!

Now they restrict how many likes you can send so that you need to buy them if you want to swipe for someone. I already pay for compliments and don’t want to pay for swiping. Will find better app!

Total scam

Total scam. Re-installed the app. after a long break and a few days later took the plunge and paid for one weeks’ subscription (more fool me). I swiped right on one of the 30+ ‘likes’ I had already received; 5 mins later and before I could even respond to her default opener, they had ended the conversation!? If there were any further evidence required how phoney this app. is then here it is. Cash cow for the developers and flagrant exploitation yet somehow they have been getting away with this legal scam for over 10 years now 🤷🏻‍♂️

FRAUD

The Bumble interface is designed for profit off of accidental "super swipes."
This fraudulent practice is a feature built into the Bumble app's interface.
The Super swipe feature is a large yellow star button placed where your finger naturally swipes through profiles. Even when not swiping it is easy for a finger to accidently touch the button. It is a feature that you have to pay for, it is a form of swipe currency, hitting it by accident is almost unavoidable.
Two people are cheated with each swipe, the receiver of a false like, and the user who paid for it and lost the credit.

Bumble Don't Care About Their Site

I am being generous with one star. Bumble does have the potential to be a great site with them making good money to boot. Alas, Bumble put/show very little effort into improving their site which will prosper them and reward their customer base.
Here are my observations.
* many users use Bumble as a verification lead to Instagram. Huge percentage of Inst users on Bumble who are only looking for followers and validation. Bumble does not care because it pushes up their gender numbers.
* Best Photo ON/OFF. Completely useless feature because the main profile pic should be at the top. Well the feature doesn't work as majority of best head & shoulders pics are further down while the off in the distance pic is the main profile. Fix it Bumble.
* Loads of email address profiles. Usually scams, catfish etc. Fix it Bumble.
* You get several likes, you know, the blurred pictures. You go through every profile selected by Bumble filters till eventually it says you have completely run out of profiles, adjust your criteria filters. Yet every "like" the blurred photos still remains. They are there but Bumble says you have "run out". Is this a bumble scam?
* First responses from females. This is a complete joke. You are lucky to get a one word "hey" these days. Now, you just get a tacky emoticon smiley face.
And Bumble wants you to pay good money for this crap. I think not as most guys are wise to the dating scams and if they don't see true value for money and some quality (not quantity) in profiles then they aren't going to open their wallets.
This site is for users of one gender who just want it for validation or to see how many "likes" they get.
Not good enough!

This website is pure garbage

This website is pure garbage. Most of the women's accounts are bots. Company seems more interested in pushing their woke agenda then helping you meet a woman. All they talk about is hate and racism. But if you're a white, Christian male, it's open season on you. Be a real man and find a woman in real life.

Absolutely shocking, only my second foray into online dating, settings are little or none profiles are largely false, the refund is non existent even after repeated complaints.the matches might as well be from another continent even with location on..in short, inaccurate ,false and money grabbing, but I'd expect that of an American rip off company...IF YOUR MALE STEER CLEAR UNLESS YOU WANT TO JUST THROW MONEY AWAY...
