RIDICULOUS

RIDICULOUS! Being charged $50+ A MONTH for boxes that DONT SHOW, and custom reps with NO IDEA how to mend situations! The items in the box ARE cute, but it’s WAY over priced! What I’m paying $50+ a month for I could’ve gotten for less than $30 at a target. This WAS supposed to be a nice treat during pregnancy, but it has been nothing but a headache, waste of time, and complete let down! Do not buy from them!

Would give 0 stars if possible

Would give 0 stars if possible. Paid around $25 for my box, decided to upgrade to a "premium" item for 12.99 more. Received not one thing in my box that I will use- one had already been opened and the quality was subpar.
Had no idea that i'd be charged $25 to cancel. Without a doubt the worst subscription service I have ever signed up for. Please don't even post a reply here, as I have tried to speak to your customer service with no luck. In fact, I was told that I was "having trouble completing my commitment" when in fact I am having trouble with crappy products and a really crappy service.

This stupid company sent me the worst…

This stupid company sent me the worst box. This is my first time using it and I priced everything they put into it. It was 17 dollars for all of the product in the box. This was a huge disappointment. Also, i didn't sign up for the 6 month subscription when I placed this order. But all of a sudden it appears in my account that I signed up for it for 6 months. The first month was awful so I am not going to continue to do this. I canceled a my credit card because I refuse to give this company anymore of my money. They didn't even say they charge you the full 48 dollars for the box, they just charge you with absolutely no notice. I'm severely disappointed in this company. I decided to do 1 month because I got a promotion and thought ya know this would be neat to give a try. Nope. I will never be using this company again

I signed up for a six month…

I signed up for a six month subscription they continued to deduct way beyond the six months. They are not able to be reached by phone unless you’re trying to buy from them. If you’re trying to cancel what they continue to deduct you must go back and login to cancel future charges. What’s the point in signing up for how many months you want when they will not respect that and just continue your subscription? There was not one single month that I received $59 worth of items either. The company takes advantage of vulnerable pregnant women. zero stars is what I would give them. Do NOT sign up for this please!!!

Beware of Auto Renew for Gifts!

I purchased a set plan as a gift for expecting mom yet it was auto-renewed after them term I paid for. They also would not credit me back for packages which had yet to ship. Super shady, I would recommend other gift options stay away from Bump Box. Also some of the items were cheap little paper cutouts and not worth the price.

As for your reply below. I contacted your 1800# twice and waited for 15 min each time before being notified agents were unavailable and being disconnected. #momsquad is #ajoke

Received 2 boxes

Received 2 boxes. First one was great except the natural deodorant smelled so strong and so bad. For a pregnant person that smells better it was aweful. The second box I got morning sickness drink things it was like a sample only 3 a water bottle that was dollar store material. It just didn't seem worth $40 definitely priced everything high and it barley added up to what you spend on the box. If the next one comes like that I will 100% cancel. I like the boxes bc you usually get more the. The price you pay for the box taking the chance some might not be exactly useful for you but when. It seems like I am overpaying for stuff that's not worth it I won't continue

These sneaky subscription companies…

These sneaky subscription companies give the appearance of a set monthly subscription plan, and then continue to charge you until you have to cancel. Imagine how much more money they make by charging each and every additional customer an extra month of a monthly charge. It's a scam and I hate these companies because of it. Read the fine print, they suck.

HORRIBLE!

They send you the worst gifts that no mom would ever need. Complete waste of money and would never recommend spending this on any new mother. Babies are already expensive enough and this is just a wasted cost that sounds cool at the time.

6 month subscription is NOT just for 6 months!!!!!

When you sign up for a limited subscription, say 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, etc, they continuously renew monthly without contacting you. There is no warning on the website during the ordering process and there is no warning in the order confirmation. In addition, the products are not really worth the price. Bumpboxes did reply that "We never sign you up for this without your agreement during the checkout process." In my case, there was absolutely no warning during the checkout process. I contacted them a couple days after I noticed the 5th charge past when the 6 month subscription should have expired. Even though they had not yet shipped the box, they refused to stop the shipment and refund me the money. I ended up having to file a BBB complaint.

Poor business owners

When I ordered this subscription for my daughter I was very excited. Unfortunately I did not read where it said you have a nine month commitment my daughter is due in four months. I called the company and they would not let me redo the subscription on a month-to-month basis. I find it very disappointing that they would not work with me and let me do the month by month they said they were unable. There is no such thing. I will not give them my business and they also charged me $25 just to cancel. All they had to do was let me do the month by month I wanted to do it for the next four months. They could’ve got over $200 from me instead they charged a $25 cancellation fee and that’s all they’re getting from me. I would not recommend a company that will not accommodate their subscribers. Poor business owners.

Everyone is writing about the same…

Everyone is writing about the same experience - you can't cancel their services. They'll tell you there's a cancellation fee. Okay, fair enough. Doesn't matter. After you pay the cancellation fee, they keep charging you anyways.

update: BumpBox replied to me and said I can cancel my subscription, they have not addressed the fact that they have already charged me the cancellation fee previously and still have continued to charge me. Hoping for a resolution today. I've been in touch with them via email and haven't gotten a resolution yet.

update #2: They're still jerking us around and stealing our money. BUYER BEWARE!

Be careful

Be careful, your subscription will auto renew at the end of the commitment period. So watch your account for money being drafted... because they will charge you every month for 3 years if you're not careful. The reviews of this company reflect the truth of customers experiences. This service is generally a nice gift and some of the items are cute and useful. Some boxes seem to be better than others and some products came without being sealed properly, such as vitamins. Also, there is a early cancelation penalty.

Do not trust this company!

Do not trust this company!! If you try to cancel, they will refuse. If you try to escalate your concerns, they will refuse. They are focused only on getting money from a vulnerable population, pregnant women. A much better use of your money is to buy your own products separately or invest in a more ethical box service.
I use a coupon for a free box in which it did not state if you get a get a free box you'll be in a "contract" for nine months..

I highly don't recommend getting…

I highly don't recommend getting bumpbox to anyone unless you wanna get scammed!! Fyi!!! I told them to cancel my account multiple times. Told them to cancel it Monday and refund me the last 70$ they had taken out of my bank !! They refunded but taken it back out anyways and tried to say they didn't do such!! I have proof and screenshots.

This Company and the products they…

This Company and the products they provide are trash. They charge you way up front and don't ship your box for 7-10 days. The website says my second box has been in the process of being "packed" for 3 days. What takes 3 days to put 5 items in a box? Customer service couldn't answer that question. Customer service says they charge on the 2nd and ship from the 17th to 29th of the month...Stay far far away from this Company. Also, there is a $25 cancellation fee for subscriptions they bury in the fine print.

Look at how many negative reviews they have. Their rating on google maps is 1.8 stars. It’s not about the money for me, it’s the service and products and this company needs to go out of business.

They will steal your money--over and over again.

This company just keeps renewing long after they stop sending boxes. They billed me at $43/month for months--the baby for whom I purchased these is now walking and teething and Bump Boxes is still arguing about giving me back money they took out of my account this year. They are a terrible company.
