I purchased a single report which…

I purchased a single report which contained zero information except information i already knew because I'm the owner of the truck but it's a nineteen ninety four and should have pages of vin information. This was completely worthless. I won't be surprised if they've created a membership that will charge me monthly for a service I will never use again.

They are scummers

They are scummers, they just charged me without my permission, I just sign up for one time to check my car status and get changed for that .then I cancel the subscription. But still charging me. That’s not fair. They just using my card without my permission using AI.
No options to delete my account .
Bumper is scary !

Nevertheless, please be assured that your account was canceled and you were issued a total refund of $59.34. The refund was processed immediately on our end, however, please note that it may take up to 10 days for the refund to reflect on your bank statement depending on your financial institution.

Deceptive registration—cancel right away!

CHEAT THOUSANDS—REFUND DOZENS!

Like countless others, I paid $1 to register for a one-time use researching a vehicle. A week later I found a charge for $27.99, a registration on their site for monthly billing, and an entry on my PayPal account for the same. I cancelled both to prevent further theft by deception.

Update: I emailed support and they only told me that I'd signed up for recurring charges and neglected to cancel. But within minutes of posting here, they sent me a refund, and Trustpilot reports that they do respond to many complaints here. That is appreciated, but it seems they calculate that only a few will do that, so they can still profit from their deceptiveness.

This is a symptom of a sick society where each of us should do our part to encourage justice.

Failed to disclose important information

The report failed to disclose that the vehicle has a branded title and is labeled as structurally damaged. Additionally, not all reported accidents appeared in the report, which raises concerns about reliability. The undisclosed history will impact resale value and result in a loss of value.

Don't use this company!!!

You think you're getting a free report, but they charge you and then don't refund you when you cancel. And then they want to make it very difficult to do so by requiring all sorts of info when all they need is your email. Plenty of other sites to get needed information without all this misrepresentation!

Fraudulent charges

I’ve never heard of this company. It’s mid November now and I realized I’ve been billed fraudulently since April. It started as a $1 charge, probably a test. Then a few days later I was billed $27 repeatedly from then on. I had to call my bank, cancel my card, and file a fraud claim.

SCAM... Deceptive Charges Hidden Behind a $1 Trial

I’m writing this review to warn others about how Bumper.com operates. My husband signed up for what was advertised as a simple $1 trial to check a used vehicle’s history. At no point did he authorize or agree to an ongoing subscription, yet Bumper began charging $29.53 every month — without ever sending a single email, receipt, or renewal notice.

We discovered the charges months later and contacted customer support right away. After multiple emails, they refunded only two months, citing a “policy” that conveniently protects their profits. It feels as though they rely on people not noticing, so they can quietly keep billing month after month.

Every legitimate subscription service provides clear communication and billing notifications. Bumper does not. Their terms are buried in fine print, and their system seems designed to trap customers into recurring charges they never knowingly agreed to.

This company is not transparent, not trustworthy, and not customer-focused. I’ve filed a fraud claim with my credit-card company and want to warn others before they end up in the same situation.

Avoid Bumper.com — deceptive, dishonest, and lacking accountability.

Continued to charge my account after I signed up for one month trial. Checked my bank statement and had basically wasted $100. Stuff like this is so scammy. They just ant you to sign up and forget about it so they can charge you for ever. Never using them again.

Bumper.com has NO customer support but…

Bumper.com has NO customer support but they pretend to when you look at their website. When you go through their phone prompts to reach a person it suddenly dead-ends. They pretend they can't help you with a refund for wrongly being charged a membership fee of $27.99. Their reason is that you cancelled your membership. How does that stop them from refunding your money. They have all your information. Bumper's canned response is: I WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE AN ACCOUNT WITH THE INFORMATION PROVIDED. They have all your information connected to the account number you get when you use their service. They force you to go through your bank to file a bogus charge report. Stay away from this company!!!!
