paid almost 190 euros for a repair/upgrade service to only receive a non functioning product.

(Some of the times between events might be off. But it is a fact I had to wait eight months.

I sent in a SVD from LCT for repair/upgrade service. It wouldn't shoot as the trigger disconnect would engage way too early. leaving the piston half or almost fully cocked.

Multiple things went wrong. 1. I had to wait EIGHT months for me to get it back. 2. Throughout these eight months it seemed like me constantly contacting them was the only reason they proceeded with the service. And 3. When I received it back in my mail, not only did I notice a lot of marks and scratches it also didn't shoot. Which was the main reason why I sent it to them for repairs. (I've made sure to use both a 11v and 7v lipo to ensure it wasn't because of weak power.)

The wait was quite annoying. A few weeks in I didn't receive a confirmation if they received the LCT SVD that I sent to them. I called them and they said they did. This was either two or three weeks in when you'd normally expect them to reach out with what they would recommend to replace part wise. They told me they did receive the SVD and will reach out to my email with their recommendations.

Several months in I again got inpatient and called them to see what's going on. They told me they emailed me(I did not receive any emails and I made sure to check my spam folder.) I might be wrong but I just think they didn't email me. I know they had my email address as I've sent it to them with the order. Plus I had conversations with an employee called "nick" on the matter beforehand. After confirming my email address, eventually I got their email with recommendations and price. Which I paid.

Another week or two went by and i again got impatient. I already emailed them to ask them if they received the payment and i didn't get a response. A week later or later on the same week I called and told them I paid for the service. They explained they were in process of using a new system and thus they didn't see the notification of me paying them or something like that. They told me they would get on it.

A month went by. Guess what. i called them once again and asked what the status was. They told me they needed a photoscan of my airsoft license. (I mean come on people. Why do i as a customer need to be the one to instigate progress on this. It's so amateur level.) anyways i got them my photoscan the same day and they ensured me that they would ship the SVD before the end of the week.

A week passed and I didn't get any shipping notification... I called them again to ask about the status. This time they explained to me that they broke the internal wiring and that he has to redo them and promised that it will be shipped the same week. Another employee said that they'd put in a extra bag of (in my opinion cheap)BBs as apology for the entire mess.

The next week I finally received it in the mail. Excited to give it a try I set up a quick target and got some charged batteries and prepared to see how well it would do. Before loading anything i proceeded to dry fire. It sounded horrible. Almost like the motor was eating up the gears inside. I got two shots off before the SVD locked up on me with the piston being cocked back right before release. I couldn't believe it.

Pissed off I prepared to take it apart to investigate. I noticed that the safety lever had dents and scratches on the screw/orientation head. I also noticed a lot of marks on the laminated wood foregrip and buttstock. Which I didn't had before I sent it in. Then I noticed that the motor had the colored wires inverted. meaning that the wiring was badly done inside of the gearbox. The gearbox is also supposed to be screwed into the receiver right below the magazine release paddle which they forgot to do. meaning that the gearbox was just floating inside of the receiver between the hopup and safety lever. The wiring was also noticeably chewed up between the gearbox and receiver internals.

Either I got really unlucky. I might have. But Bunker501 just really effed it up this time. Their overly lax contact and the fact that I needed to chase them for any kind of progress was ridiculous. worst part of all is that my lct svd is now even more damaged and that I paid for a repair that gave me a similar result before their "repair". Bunker501 unfortunately lost a customer that would have gladly paid for good service.

Fantastic service and communication

Fantastic service and communication!

I've contracted them to upgrade my PKM, they've been nothing short of perfect when it came to communication, service, customer service and everything else. I'd highly recommend anyone to drop their replicas off here for a tune up!

Fast shipping

I was a little concerned about trading with bunker501.nl. after reading reviews.
But the goods came quickly and there was nothing wrong with the quality.

Rude, unhelpful, unresponsive to queries, incorrect contact address through paypal.

I bought a magazine for my pistol. The website did not specify the calibre and it turned out they were selling only 6mmbb, when I needed .177bb. I contacted them to arrange a return on the email address provided to me by Paypal THREE times with no response. I escalated to Paypal and received an immediate, rude response, saying that I ought to have just known Dutch firearms law and accusing me of making no effort to contact them and that their terms only allow refunds within 14 days. When I pointed out that I had used the email address provided by Paypal and that they ought to correct this wrong information they continued to respond rudely and have refused to cover the cost of returning the item, though they say they will refund on receipt. I have never been treated so poorly by a company from whom I purchased an item in good faith. Do not use.

Dear Simon Clare,

could you please tell the full story.

You ordered a M9A3 Magzine in our webshop that is named Bunker501 Airsoft Experts.
Airsoft is a game that can be played with a Calibre of 6MM or 8MM and not .177 (4,5 mm)

If it was unclear to you what Calibre the Magazine was why didn't ask us if the magazine was a .177 Calibre magazine.

Further more you state that you did not get any answer on your 3 emails.
That is beacuse like i answered you in the email that you sent your emails to an email addres that you got from a third party and is already not in use anymore for over more than 2 years now!

Why didn't you look at the contact tab on our own site, there you would have found the correct address.

So in a summary you give us a 1 star review because you ordered a wrong magazine and you used the wrong email address (that was not even given by us but you got it from a third party) and now you blame us for that.

We explained to you how the returns prgramm works on our website and immediately you tell us we have an attitude, we were really surprised why you would say that.

Let me make it clear.

Our returns programm will only process returns that will be done witin a 14 days period and we can not do anything about that 14 day period because that is our freight forwarder who arranges that process.

When a return is not our fault (when the customer ordered something he can not use or he ordered faulty) we will not cover the return costs.
Only when the Products is broken or when the fault is our fault we will cover the return costs.

We are not responsible when third parties do have a wrong email addres of ours , why did you not look at the right spot for the email addres and that is at our contact on our website.

Please be honest when you are doing something wrong yourselves and do not blame us when you order something wrong and did not use the correct email addres that could be found easily on our website!!

Best Regards,

Team Bunker501

Be carefull if you something from this company.....

Made an online purchase from Bunker501.nl and in the beginning, it all seemed to work well and the order looked like sent after only a few days, but unfortunately, the shipment never arrived at my home but was returned to Bunker501.nl.
Bunker501.nl claim that an attempt to deliver was made but that there was nobody at home, but I was home all that week, I had a letter of authority taped to my front door giving permission to leave it at my doorstep. And the transport company did also not leave a message that they had attempted to make a delivery and this is not normal where I live, so I would say that it is very, very doubtful that a delivery attempt has been made.
Bunker501.nl have now also ignored my last 2 emails asking for either the delivery to be made or to have a refund of the money, and the silence from their side says it all.
It looks like €224.89 down the drain.

Update 21-6-2018
After opening a PayPal dispute towards Bunker501 I finally got a reply to my e-mails and I have today received my purchase.
That I had to involve PayPal to get what I had ordered is of course not good, but at least I did not waste my money, so I change my 1 star to 3 stars and I recommend you use PayPal if buying anything from them.
