I’m incredibly disappointed with the…

I’m incredibly disappointed with the Division of Corporations and Commercial Code. I’ve tried THREE separate times to register my small business and have now lost over $200—all to be rejected without clear guidance on how to fix the issues. I’ve followed instructions, asked questions, and tried to resolve things through email and phone, only to be met with vague rejections and no real support. Starting a business is already stressful, and this department has made it 10 times harder. I would not recommend relying on this office if you’re hoping for timely or helpful communication. The lack of transparency and accountability is beyond frustrating.

0 Stars. Buggy and Incomplete Business Website for Utah

Wish I could give 0 stars for this new website by the State of Utah.

You have to jump through all sorts of hoops to attach your business account to your new "Utah ID", only to discover that the system is reportedly (by their own support agents) buggy and incomplete. I was literally told by an agent on the phone "If you can just work with us on the bugs, we should be able to get all of this worked out soon". I was also told that the entire system isn't even online yet.

So we, as tax payers and business owners, are forced to use a complete garbage system (out of the gate) that wasn't even bothered to be properly tested and vetted before implementation. What a show of incompetence.

I'm happy to pay my taxes, but not to have it wasted on crappy tools and systems.
