Customer Service actually makes a difference when you buy a barcode.
I have bought bar codes online from BuyaBarcode for many years for my products (so far about 50). When I have had difficulties with someone using the same code as the legitimate barcode I bought from BaB, they sent me a certificate of authenticity - which was very helpful to prove my ownership. I thought it was just a bunch of lines and numbers, but when things go sideways with people using your codes (and it will happen over time, because someone can just make it up and hope no one else has the same one), you realize customer service is important. Erik will call you and provide help, which is what I do in my business, and is the way we all want it to happen. There isn't much separating the quality, as noted - they are just lines and numbers, so you have price and customer service as the distinguishing factors. The price - over the long run is not a big difference since the barcodes last forever, so I'm in on customer service, which has been needed, and they will call you - with a real phone, to sort out problems, or clarify anything you need to know. Once you buy the barcodes they have pretty detailed instructions for what to do in registering it with your product for Amazon, which is very handy, because Amazon seldom makes things easy or intuitive. So I've been quite pleased with their customer service, and will very likely buy my next set of codes from them.
