I'm only leaving a review because when I was trying to sell my old iphone, I realized there's a lot of shady websites and opportunities to get scammed, and it's nerve-racking sending off your electronics in the mail.

My experience with BuyBackWorld was legit. I shopped around few sites and they offered me the highest price for my phone (way more than the apple store) and the offer was valid for 30 days. They even provided me with the pre-paid envelope I needed to ship my phone to them to make things easy. Everything was straightforward, honest, no surprises, and they kept me informed at every step of the selling process.

Best of all, they were prompt with full payment (via paypal). If I had any more spare phones laying around, I'd definitely use them again.

This is the worse company I have ever used and will never use again.
They sent my payment to the wrong person, that person took my payment and instead of trying to fix the mistake they blocked me and disabled my account. So now they have my device and someone else out there in the world has my payment. I literally showed them proof they sent the payment to the wrong person and they didn’t care. What a bunch of thieves.

I really hope people think twice about using an unethical company like this.
