Too Good To Be Truye? Saved From a Ebay Nightmare !

I saw this car on Ebay. Price looked to good to be true The seller insisted on meeting me at a random Lidl car park and the car looked 'overly new' and in good condition ona surface level. Seller wasn't giving any game away but alarms bells were sounding. I ran the plates through BuyCarCheck there and then on my mobile.

Immediately, streams of information came throughThe report indicated that the car had Major structural damage (CAT S) and had been written off by Aviva Insurtance Limited. Futhermore, it detailed exacly where the damage was locatied (Front Nearside, Underside). This wideboy was selling cars that aare not roadworthy and not declaring it. Furthermore, the report showed a marker was on HPI Finance. Then it all clicked - a 2021 Mercedez Benz costing from £30,700 new, and he was selling for £12,000?.

If I would have bought this, I would have been burderned with massive debt AND have no car to show for it.So i was saved - all for a £4.99 report.

Moral of the story - don't skim on these things guys. even if you take a mechanic along with you, they won't spot HPI writeoffs and stuff.

Highly recommend the service. Saved me a total nightmare.
