buzzmove 

After months of planning and delays, we suddenly had 10 days notice of the chain completing. Given how awkward the owner we were buying from was we had to move. Buzz Move absolutely came to our rescue. Due to the tight time frame they did a survey via a smart phone app, had the quote to us the same day, we replied and they took a deposit and had booking confirmation to us the following day. Given it was so urgent they really did do all they could to help. And their price was still very reasonable even though they could easily have hiked up the price and they were very professional, they bagged up the mattresses to protect them, they provided wardrobe boxes and they even wrapped up the pictures/mirrors on the day (we opted to self pack, but they covered the dismantling of furniture and wrapping pics/mirrors for you anyway. On the day 3 guys turned up, very polite, put down carpet protectors, were packed up in no time and then when we got the keys they were just as good at the unpacking. Built the beds, put the sofa back together, put boxes where we asked. Absolutely spot on. Brilliant service, the smoothest part of the 9 months of trying to get the sale sorted.

Useful service. I liked the video call about the inventory-- it made it much more accurate. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that I had to follow up with them to get my quotes.

I would definitely recommend buzzmove. They made my move so stress free and were so helpful.

Very easy to use and a range of companies got in touch pretty quickly.

Specified date of move, told it was not flexible. 3 possible removal companies suggested, I recognised 1 immediately as dealt with them directly and knee they were not available on the date!
Did the video survey, which now leaves me worried as it is the perfect show for burglars if it went to wrong hands.
Never heard anything from buzzmove. One company responded to say they had a contact request via buzzmove, as soon as the date was mentioned they confirmed no availability.
This website / service is utterly useless, and I would very much like to know what happened with my video! No contact on website.
I don't recommed them.

All seemed like a good process and I had an appointment booked in to conduct a survey so I made sure I was at home for it. A text message was sent an hour before to remind me to download the app so that the survey could take place and then nothing. The alloted time came and went with no contact and there office is closed from 5.30 meaning it wasn't possible to contact them meaning I'd wasted an evening sitting around waiting to be contacted.

Mostly just generated a lot of emails for me. Confusing, and didn't give me a good impression of how to choose between the various options.

I ended up finding someone through a different search.

First of all, the video call is brilliant. Highly convenient! We did get free quotes to compare after that, so Buzzmove certainly made the process of moving easier. The staff was there on time and they worked really quickly, but carefully at the same time. All our items were safely transported to the new location.

The service from when we contacted them, up to how and when our move was conducted was just great.

Based on our experience, we think Clockwork Removals & Storage is the best. We would use them over and over again.

After putting my details on the website, I got two immediate responses, then an offer for a video survey. The survey felt intrusive, even to the point of being asked to open kitchen cupboards.
Once the survey had been done, I received no further responses from removal companies, so the whole thing was a waste of time and effort.
The only reason I gave two stars instead of one, was that one of the original firms to respond did our move and were amazing.

It was advertised that I would receive 3 quotes in my area. They passed my details straight to one of the third party companies in which they contacted me directly for a quote. I did the online video quote and did not receive a single quote. I called and got told they will look into it and no one got back to me. The only quote I got was received by THE ONE THIRD PARTY THAT DIRECTLY CONTACTED ME. I wasn't impressed with the service.

Brilliant site and very good service. My video survey was done at a time to suit me and ensured that I got a much more accurate quote. I have used one of the quoting movers and all going well so far.

Bl##dy awful! By all means they did the video survey as expected, but ever since I've been contacted by all manner of different mortgage/cleaning/insurance related companies who all know I'm moving. Looks like they sell you're details to anyone willing to pay for them.

The move was for my father who has limited mobility.

Credit to the chaps who moved us on the day. They were a great team who worked hard to get everything in and my elderly dad comfortable asap.

The packing service team however were not so good. We had to finish packing on the day with the chaps moving us helping. There were things left all over. We must have packed another 15 or so boxes on the day of the move.

Would use again but maybe just the moving side or fully supervise the packing. But then what's the point in having someone else come in?

The idea of a video call to document all your items you want to move on to another property sounded excellent. Buzzmove side worked great but out of over 6 company's it was sent to only 1 replied. We then went with another more local just because of their service offered crates free. Having a great service is no good if you don't have companies continuing this further down the line.

The person conducting the video was very friendly but we never heard any more from buzz move nor did we receive any quotes
