Account restricted — no response from compliance team

Good afternoon,

I have encountered an issue with my account being restricted due to a compliance review.

On April 11, 2026, my account was limited. An appeal was automatically created:
AS-896323-BP-06dddbe89dcf4e5a9825b4e384762363

The appeal referenced the following transaction (TXID):
0x26bde97276aed3f4e0dc153ff21b8af422f134b37ecdc05ef332e7a959bd556a

The appeal stated that I would be contacted within 48 hours, however, no one reached out to me. When I contacted live chat support, I was told that the response time (not the review itself) can take up to 30 days, and that I simply need to wait.

I understand that this restriction is likely related to AML procedures, but I cannot wait 30 days just to find out what documents I need to provide.

FOR THIS REASON

I kindly ask you to provide a list of documents required for verification.

I would also like to point out that the transaction in question was made more than 950 days ago — specifically on October 6, 2023.

Moreover, on January 1, 2024, I already received a notice regarding these transactions and provided all the necessary documents at that time to resolve the issue. I clearly remember informing support that I would not conduct such transactions again.

You can verify this in your records. Since then, I have consistently performed AML checks on wallets and have acted responsibly.

I am giving this review 2 stars because the support team is at least trying to help.

P.S. In the community, I was advised to contact complianceops
, but any emails sent to this address are being closed as “resolved” without proper investigation.

Baybit just went and blocked my last money.

Bybit just went and blocked my last money.
I'd previously transferred all my remaining coins from all my wallets to Bybit. I'd gathered them in one place to save up for rent. And then they simply blocked my last money, less than $300. When I asked what I should do, they simply left the chat. My UID is 36479065, and this is simply inhumane.

April 16, 2026 Isn't UiD enough to identify me? Your exchange simply unilaterally deleted the support chat. There are no numbers or history there.

The exchange didn't send a case ID by email and left the chat. I can't find it anywhere to contact you.

I wrote another request N24930325 and only received a formal reply on this matter.

Bybit Robbed Me

Bybit Robbed Me – Charged $6.51 Funding Fee on a Crude Oil Trade That Only Profited $11.80
I just closed a small Crude Oil futures position on Bybit and couldn’t believe my eyes:
• Opening Fee: ~$0.05
• Closing Fee: ~$0.05
• Funding Fee: $6.51
My gross profit from the trade direction was $11.80… but after Bybit’s ridiculous funding fee, I was left with barely $5.19.
That’s over 55% of my entire profit stolen by a single “funding fee” on what was clearly a small retail position. The trading fees were pennies, yet the funding fee was more than half my winnings. This isn’t sustainable — it’s predatory.
Bybit, how do you sleep at night charging such absurd funding rates on crude oil futures? It feels like you deliberately set funding fees high enough to punish small traders while whales barely notice. I took a calculated risk, the market moved in my favor, and you still managed to take the majority of my profit through the back door.
This is why retail traders get destroyed on futures. Platforms like Bybit make it look cheap to enter, but the hidden funding costs turn winning trades into mediocre ones — or worse.
I’m extremely disappointed and angry. Never again will I trade crude oil (or any futures) on Bybit. If you’re a small trader considering Bybit, do yourself a favor and check the real funding rates first. What looks like a winning trade can easily become a disappointment thanks to these greedy fees.
Bybit, you’ve lost my trust completely. This level of fee gouging is unacceptable. Here is my Case ID: 24917196.
Pls respond to my case as quickly as possible

Bybit Allowed Fraud on My Account and Refuses to Return My Money

Bybit allowed 92 unauthorized transactions from my account, resulting in my money being taken without my consent.

They have not returned my funds, including money for a canceled card. I have also been waiting for a physical card for over a month — this is already the fourth attempt, and nothing has been delivered.

For more than two weeks, support has failed to answer my questions, sending only generic replies that do not address the issue.

At this point, it appears that Bybit is not only failing to protect users but is effectively enabling scammers — and possibly participating in this fraudulent scheme by refusing to resolve the situation.

If this is not resolved immediately, I will escalate this publicly and through legal and regulatory channels.

UPDATE:

Case ID: 24850592

I see your response asking for my Case ID. This case has already been under review for over two weeks, and all required information has been provided multiple times.

Please do not ask me to repeat the same details again. I expect your team to review the existing case and provide clear answers.

I am still waiting for:

- A clear explanation of the 92 unauthorized transactions
- A proper update on the investigation
- Confirmation of when my funds will be returned

Most importantly, I have not received any explanation of how 92 transactions were processed without my authorization. My account requires my approval for transactions, so how was this even possible?

This raises serious concerns about the security of your platform. How can I trust your system if such activity can occur without my consent?

At this point, the issue is not a lack of information, but a lack of action and accountability.

I will continue to update this review publicly based on how this case is handled.

Additionally, I have never received a clear answer regarding my physical card. I have ordered it four times, paid for it four times, and still have not received it.

There are no delivery updates despite choosing DHL shipping, and your support is unable to tell me where the card is or what is happening. I also cannot get a refund for the canceled cards and am forced to keep contacting support without resolution.

This situation is unacceptable and further raises concerns about the reliability of your service.

Due to the lack of meaningful responses through your support channels, where I only receive automated templates and no real answers, I request that you provide clear and complete responses to my questions here.

At this point, I am not receiving proper support via private communication, so I expect transparency and accountability in this public thread.
UPDATE 3:

It has now been over three weeks since I first reported this issue, and I am still receiving no clear answers.

I have attached another screenshot of the latest response from Bybit. As shown, it is once again a generic template that does not address any of my questions.

There are still no answers regarding:

- The 92 unauthorized transactions
- The missing funds and refund timeline
- The status of my physical card, which I have ordered four times and never received

Instead of resolving the issue, I am continuously asked to wait while no actual information is provided.

At this point, this is not an investigation — this is a delay.

I have now issued a formal 48-hour notice to Bybit. If I do not receive a proper response, I will proceed with filing complaints with financial regulators and continue escalating this case publicly with full documentation.

This situation remains unresolved, and I will continue to update this review accordingly.

virtual bank account is a SCAM

They suggested me to open an virtual bank card account, so opened it and and made a small deposit with 18 dollars. After that I didn’t make any transactions and a few weeks later they just blocked this virtual bank card and now I can’t use my 18 dollars 😁 This is so crazy, I don’t know how to deal with it because they are so stupid they replaced their support engineers with an AI bot, so now I can’t even withdraw those money. Bybit is so bad cryptocurrency, can’t recommend it because they can block your money and you will be not able to get it back because there are no alive people in this company to get your application and give a response. 0/10

Update. My UID is 48370580, it is in your interest to handle with this problem. I can’t give you any “case” id because as I said I can’t reach out your support, because your support system is broken with your AI bot that gives me links to the docs instead of connect me with an operator. If you can’t do anything with my UID then it also means that your system is totally broken.

Four years is a long time, and we genuinely appreciate your loyalty to the platform. Losing a long-standing user over UI changes and support issues is something we take seriously, and your frustration is completely valid.

Dear User,

Thank you for the feedback — and we understand where this is coming from.

Trading low liquidity tokens does come with inherent risks, including wider spreads, higher slippage, and difficulty executing orders at desired prices. These are market realities that exist across all exchanges, not unique to Bybit. That said, we take all platform-related concerns seriously and continuously work to improve the trading experience across all available assets.

If you have experienced a specific issue — such as an order not executing as expected or unexpected losses tied to liquidity conditions — we'd like to look into it further. Paid for delivery, never received the card, and support was unhelpful

I ordered a Bybit card with paid delivery to my address. I never received any message, call, or notification about the delivery. Later, when I checked the DHL tracking status myself, it showed that the card had already been delivered. However, I did not receive the card, and nobody contacted me.
My first step was to contact Bybit support via WhatsApp, and that was where the real frustration started.
The support agent joined the chat without even introducing themselves. When I asked for shipment details, I was told that I had to contact DHL myself. I explained that I had purchased the delivery service from Bybit, not from DHL, and that I had paid for a service I never received.
Despite this, the agent said they could not help me. I then asked for a replacement card to be issued, but I did not receive any clear or positive response.

This is very disappointing. If a customer pays Bybit for card delivery, Bybit should take responsibility for resolving delivery issues instead of pushing the customer to a third-party courier. I expected proper support, investigation of the shipment, and a practical solution. Instead, I was left without the card and without real assistance.
I cannot recommend this service based on my experience.

Please note that Bybit does not provide support via WhatsApp. It is likely that you were interacting with an unofficial or fraudulent party, and we strongly advise exercising caution in such cases.

⭐ 1/5 — Funds frozen for over a week, no explanation, no resolution
I deposited 3,900 USDT from my personal Trust Wallet on 30 March 2026. The funds were immediately placed in "Pending Assets" status with no prior warning.
Bybit requested source-of-funds documents. I provided real estate sale agreements proving my funds are long-term savings from property sales. Instead of reviewing this, Bybit kept demanding bank statements showing $20,000 annual income — completely irrelevant to what I actually told them.
On 3 April I asked them to simply return my funds to the original wallet. They ignored this request.
Since 4 April I have received only automated replies from different support accounts, each with a different waiting time (24h, 48h, 72h). None were honoured. Now they've told me to wait until 8 May 2026 — yet another unilateral extension with zero legal explanation.
I have a verified account since 2022. I have never engaged in suspicious activity. My withdrawal function remains frozen.
I have already filed formal complaints with the AFM (Netherlands) and FMA (Austria). A formal legal demand has been sent to Bybit's compliance department.
Bybit, if you see this: please contact me via my registered email and resolve this immediately. Account ID: case № 24863615 compliance case 01KNKHF9FR2TGPBDVCF25GXYC0

Bybit ignoring costumers

I made SEPA fiat withdrawal at 12-th february and it's still stuck "under review". I opened costumer support ticket 5-business days after withdrawal and to this day almost 2-months later bybit still sending only repeative copy paste bot templates to my e-mail instead of any updates or solution to my case. I allready reached out regulator and posted on bybit X-page but they seems to be not care at all. Very dissapointed that bybit does not show any kind of accountability. Never gonna use this exchange again. Worst exchange experience i ever had in my lifetime.
Gonna keep fighting and gonna reach out additional regulators+gonna a make whole lot of more noise on social media platforms.

I have contacted support multiple times and received only repeated generic responses.

they confiscate profits

they reserve the right to confiscate your funds and profits to cover their losses ("adjustments" they call it) .
when one token crashes, they simply send you an email saying they regret but they had to take your assets and profits because their reserve fund became empty
in my case I had a deal with +450USDT profit and they took it all and deleted my deal.
they won;t let you make any profit, they will "adjust" your assets to them, so only losses are guaranteed

Bybit security concerns

I am writing this to warn everyone: Bybit’s KYC system is a joke, and their support is complicit in identity theft.

I tried to apply for a Bybit Card, only to find out that my Passport (FT****2) had already been used by a scammer to verify a fraudulent account (chel****892rambler.ru). When I contacted support to report this #24819693, they refused to block the fake account or remove my stolen data.

Even worse: Bybit blamed ME, claiming I must have "voluntarily provided access" to a third party. When I proved that I am the REAL owner of the passport and requested to reset the email and 2FA to regain control over my own identity, they simply closed the case. They literally told me their decision is "final" and they won't even talk to me anymore.

Bybit is now hosting an account verified with my stolen documents and refusing to let the real owner (me) verify my identity through a live video call. They are protecting the fraudster while ignoring the victim.

If you care about your personal data, stay away from this exchange. They do not care about security flaws. They dont care about security flaws.

UPDATE (April 10, 2026): Bybit replied with a standard template asking me to contact Live Chat. THIS DOES NOT WORK! I have contacted you multiple times ( #24336074, #24336267, #24733462, #24819693 ) and your chat agents just ignore the identity theft fact. I demand a HUMAN specialist and a LIVE video call. Stop protecting the scammer (chel****892rambler.ru)!

Hi there,

That sounds like a deeply frustrating and concerning experience, especially given the nature of identity-related issues.

Situations involving potential misuse of personal documents are handled with strict security and compliance procedures, which can sometimes limit what can be shared publicly. That said, your report is important, and it’s understandable that you’re expecting clearer action and communication.

Since you’ve already provided Case ID, this can be followed up internally to ensure it has been thoroughly reviewed. If you have any additional evidence or context, it’s best to attach it directly to the existing case so the relevant team can reassess it with full visibility.

Unfair Disqualification from MNT Puzzle - NO PROOF PROVIDED (UID: 182930316)

I am a legitimate retail trader (UID: 182930316) and I am writing this because Bybit Support has failed to provide a fair resolution. I completed the MNT Puzzle event on the 2nd day, well before the prize pool was exhausted. However, I was disqualified by an automated "Risk Control" system without any specific reason or proof of violation.
I have strictly followed all terms:

1. This is my only account.
2. I only shared puzzle pieces with one real friend.
3. I am ready for any Liveness Check/Verification.

Bybit support keeps sending me generic "the decision is final" templates instead of conducting a human audit. If Bybit wants to maintain trust, they should not arbitrarily deny rewards to early participants who followed the rules. I demand a manual review of my account activity and the distribution of my earned MNT reward.

UPDATE: Bybit’s response is unacceptable. You claim to have "reviewed" the case, but you still provide ZERO evidence of any violation. I am a real user (UID: 182930316) who completed the task on Day 2.

By refusing to escalate a legitimate manual review request, you are admitting that your "Risk Control" can disqualify anyone without reason to save prize money. This is a clear breach of trust and transparency. I will continue to warn the community on all platforms that Bybit does not honor its own event rewards.

Since you have already provided your Order ID and UID, your case can be followed up internally to check the current status and ensure it is being handled appropriately.

Unfiar Advantage to selected p2p merchants in PKR

Recently bybit has featured 2 advertisers in PKR market on both buy and sell sides of p2p (Oficial-Xchange and link-exchange)
Why they are featured? P2p team has no answer to that which shows that there is no criteria and it is just selected because of maybe some internal relation with team.
Now here's another interesting thing both of these advertisers have same contact number in their p2p description which shows that in reality these both advertisers accounts that are featured belong to same guy. Then why same guy is featured with 2 ads?
Answer: On mobile view only 2 ads are visible unless you scroll. So bybit team decided to feature his 2 ads so that users can't see that there are merchants offering better prices and users order with them only.
Now one final thing one advertiser even has his name as "official-xchange" and despite bybit p2p team manually featuring that guy they don't asked him to change his name so people don't take that guy as official p2p account of bybit.
This whole situation creates question on bybit "transparency" and "fairness". Hiding other advertisers with better prices is unfair not only to advertisers but also to users.
Bybit should investigate this and hoping for some reply that address my concern. I would request public answer here please on this and not a private ticket response in which bybit will just say it is our decision, bybit should say this here then so everyone can see how transparent and fair the bybit policy is

(As bybit mentioned it is done based on standard criteria, you may ask bybit p2p team what's that criteria? and reply here, I will apologize and change it to 5 star because I have already tried asking them they have no answers)

Refunded my fiat deposit

After waiting my fiat deposit on feb 28, 2026 then I've got e-mail on Apr 6, 2026 that my deposit will be refund. Today the refund transfered into my bank account. Thanks to Bybit and sorry for my impatience and negative thinking. But I didn't know why Bybit not credited into my account but just refunded.

Broken SMS Verification Blocks All Transactions — Saudi Arabia Users Beware

Bybit has a completely broken verification system that makes basic transactions impossible for Saudi Arabia users.
Here is exactly what happens every single time:
Step 1: I try to complete a transaction.
Step 2: Bybit demands THREE codes simultaneously — email code, Google Authenticator code, and SMS code.
Step 3: Email code arrives instantly. ✅
Step 4: Google Authenticator code is ready. ✅
Step 5: SMS code? It never arrives — or arrives 10 minutes later when everything has already expired. ❌
Step 6: All codes expire. I am forced to start over.
Step 7: Same result. Again and again. No success.
This is not a security feature. This is a design failure that punishes users, especially in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East where SMS delivery is consistently unreliable.
I contacted support. They take 7 DAYS to respond — on a financial platform where every minute matters and every delay costs money.
My demands:
1. Allow Google Authenticator alone without requiring SMS
2. Fix SMS delivery for Saudi Arabia users immediately
3. Reduce support response time to hours, not days
Until this is fixed, Bybit is completely unusable. I have documented everything and will continue reporting this issue on every platform available.
