Tag is great! I get an alert every time someone scans it which my friends like to do put it curiosity! The information I want shown is there! the pink is also a pretty collar that looks great on my girl!

I take my dog off leash hiking often and have loved having this little tag for him. He’s medicated for seizures and I love that I can include that on his profile and also include multiple phone numbers where his aunts and uncles can be reached. This tag is worth every penny! It’s super easy to use and I love the variety of styles.

I am giving the tracker 3 stars only because i probably bear some of the blame for the fact that it is not at all what it appears to be in their advertisements. I should have done more due diligence.This will NOT ACTIVELY track your pet. That is the ONLY reason we bought it. Super disappointed.

Bought 2 tags for my shollies back in late July. I was not impressed with the quality of the tags for they felt as if they would snap quickly with very active dogs. The tags were also advertised as NFC supported at the time of purchase, which was a big selling point for me. Found out the series 2 tags I was sent were not supported. I got the okay for a refund and sent out of the tags. The tags were marked as delivered Aug. 27th.

Fast forward to Oct 13th. I have yet to receive my refund with my last few emails going ignored.

Update: Still no contact from Bytetag. I contacted my credit card company to start a dispute

I am an American living in Germany so generally it’s hard to get companies to deliver out of the country but I got it within two weeks of ordering it. The item was $19.95 and shipping was $15.34 for a total of $35.29. But then when Deutsche post delivered it to my door they made me pay them an additional €8.40 which I assume is the VAT tax. Kudos to this company for providing such a wonderful service. It was extremely easy to set up and easy to use. Great idea! Thank you ByteTag! I am updating my review because my dog was wearing the tag and took a bath in mud. She was filthy. I took her harness, the collar, including the bytetag And threw them in the washing machine. When it came out I was afraid the ByteTag would have gotten wet and ruined but it still worked perfectly. I tested it. I am soooo pleased with the product!

I contacted ByteTag to find out why 3 of the 4 tags I ordered have no attachment ring. This was their reply:
Good afternoon Alicia! The silicone tags do not come with a ring, we are leaving that up to the owners to use a ring that is suitable for their pups activity level. Most collars do come with an attached ring or they can be found at any local pet store and Amazon. :)

That’s ridiculous and shamefully CHEAP.

My dogs’ collars have the large ring but a ring is needed to attach a tag to the collar.

$84.80 purchase and now I have to order rings from Amazon to accommodate these expensive dog tags??? Not happy at all.

When I received my byetag, it did not work. It appears as though the QR code was never activated. Therefore, when scanned, it gave an error message - thereby rendering the product completely useless. I contacted customer service multiple times over months. I received one email asking for a photo of the tag, after that, silence. I could not get the issue resolved, could not initiate a return, could not speak to anyone. I ended up having to challenge the purchase with my credit card company, who refunded me. This is such a waste of time and money! Don’t buy it!!

A fantastic, professional company that provides excellent service and technology. These are the best dog tags out there, in my opinion. Easy to browse and shop their website, products are extremely reasonably priced, and customer service is top-notch. They have a social media presence and even an ambassador program, which is a great incentive for customers.
