Unprofessional, no accountability, scammers.

My experience is the exact same as others in this review section. When I placed the order, they immediately charged my card. The website (AND order receipt) said it’s in stock and will ship in 1-4 business days. It is now 1.5 months later and it still hasn’t been shipped. I’ve sent several emails, and each time the date has been pushed. Earlier this week I requested that they cancel my order and refund me. They then offered me $20 to not cancel the order. As soon as I rejected that offer and said to go ahead with my refund, they sent a bot response and I haven’t heard back since. I will be having my bank investigate them, and if you’re in my situation I suggest you do the same.
If you’re considering buying something from them, please take this to heart. Also search for other experiences. When I googled “deer run scam?” I saw several Reddit articles and reviews elsewhere about so many people having this experience as well. Their money is gone, they’re being strung along, and nothing is coming of it.
I’ve definitely learned my lesson to research a business like them before spending money.

Last but not least… I’m seeing their copy/paste response under all of these reviews and no accountability. Here’s the next one:

EDIT TO ADD:
As someone else said, no refund after the time given. They wouldn’t give me any legit confirmation of a transaction (only sent me an extremely sketchy blurry cropped photo with only my original order number and claiming it’s the transaction number). Their responses started coming from several different email addresses and started using AI responses. No more humans. I had to open a dispute with my bank, along with reporting them to the FTC for fraud. DO NOT ORDER FROM DEER RUN. TRUST THESE 1* REVIEWS PLEASE.

Poor stock management, poor communication, and a very frustrating refund process.

DeerRun took my order, then only told me the product was out of stock after I chased them for an update 10 days later. I asked for a full refund immediately and was told it would take 7–12 days. That deadline came and went with nothing posted to my card.

I then had to send repeated follow-ups. Their team kept saying the refund was “processed” but would not provide an ARN, refund receipt, or proper payment confirmation. In the end, I had to open a dispute with my bank.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering from them.

DEER RUN IS A SCAM

DEER RUN IS A SCAM. I placed my order Jan 1. They happily took my money. Shipped out the accessories (the mat & longer cord) as fast as they could. But never shipped out the actual walking pad. After multiple attempts to get an update, and being to wait, it’s on back order, its shipping out soon etc, I finally cancelled my order with them Feb 3. For those that don’t know – NO REFUNDS ON ACCESSORIES. So, here I am with a mat and cord and no walking pad to use them with. Only after I filed a claim with my credit card, did they offer to refund my money in full for the walking pad I never received and 50% back for the accessories. So, I agreed to their refund and cancelled my chargeback with my credit card. I have been asking weekly for the last month for the refund they have agreed to pay me. I keep getting their BS cookie cutter response of “we apologize for the delay. We are escalating to the right department. Be patient etc”. They have had my money since January 1. This is a TERRIBLE company. I wish I had looked at these reviews before I gave them my money.

$268 taken, 32 days wasted, 0 product delivered, and the only fast service they offered was cancellation.

Now I understand why they have such a poor 2.4 rating. Their website marketing is misleading, and their customer service is disgraceful. I ordered a walking pad directly from their website and waited over a month with no proper delivery. When I contacted customer service, both times their first response was to offer cancellation instead of solving the problem. That makes it seem like they are happy to make promises on the website but have no intention of properly supporting customers afterward. This was a terrible experience from start to finish.

Dearun took $268 of my money and sat on it for 32 days without delivering the product. That means they had 100% of the payment while I got 0% of what I paid for. When I contacted customer service, instead of providing a proper update or taking responsibility, they pushed cancellation. That makes their whole business look dishonest — take the customer’s money first, delay the order, then act like cancellation is an acceptable solution. Whether they made $1 or less from holding my payment is irrelevant. The real profit is in how casually they hold customers’ money while providing nothing in return (Economy of scale). Their marketing feels deceptive, their service is useless, and their treatment of customers is disgraceful.
Trust me ! You would get more money in charity without ruining the name.

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company, one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve had. Ordered first week of January, there was no mention on the site that it was back ordered or preorder. No communication from them so I reached out to be told it was out of stock but would shop soon. Weeks later, I followed up again to be told they don’t have that model anymore but they could change to a different cheaper model and credit the difference and that one would ship mid February. Agreed to the change and waited. Again, the date past and no communication from them, I had to reach out again. That time I was told it would ship by end of the week. Surprise surprise, it didn’t so I reached out again. This time the person responding told me the walking pad I ordered in January is no longer available and they could ship this other model. Did I not agree to that two months ago? I responded to that message in frustration and someone else responded saying they would put a rush on it if I was willing to wait one more day. I said fine. Two days later and nothing and they are now not responding to me about issuing a refund,

Dishonest advertising

Customer service is somewhat prompt in replying, but this company’s advertising practices are dishonest. I placed an order in December and the product didn’t ship til mid-March. I was given no information that shipping would be delayed and had to follow up myself. At that time I was told it was a preorder, but the website never provided this information. When I eventually asked for a refund in lieu of continuing to wait in February, this was ignored, and the product has now finally been shipped nearly a month later. They also offered a small credit for waiting but I haven’t seen it and am not sure it’s forthcoming. I cannot comment on product quality as I haven’t seen it yet but this experience alone is enough to ensure I will not order from this company again.

Refund promised after safety issue — but never issued

STAY AWAY!!

The walking pad I purchased began overheating and almost caused a fire in my home, which is why I contacted their support in the first place. Their team replied and confirmed in writing that my refund had been coordinated and that no return was required.

However, the refund never arrived.

I contacted Amazon and they confirmed no refund had ever been processed. When I went back to DeerRun with this information, they simply redirected me back to Amazon and refused to resolve the issue.

So the situation is simple:
A potentially dangerous product, a refund promised in writing, and then no refund issued.

Because of this experience, I would strongly advise customers to be extremely cautious before buying from DeerRun, especially if you expect reliable customer support when something goes wrong.

STAY AWAY

I want to love this company. I ordered my walking pad Jan 14th 2026. Today, is March 3rd, 2026 and I am still waiting. I contacted customer service 3 times so far asking why I haven't received my order yet. Especially when they advertise free shipping of 1 to 4 business days. They keep telling me that they will send my order to get a tracking number and then it will be shipped out. The days keep being pushed to a later date. This is horrible customer service. How can you keep selling a product that you can't ship out. (I do not live in a rural area, shipping would be easy)
I'm taking my order to the next level of consumer protection act. I find it even sad that I have to come here to send a negative review to possibly advance my order.

******WARNING – AVOID DEERRUN AT ALL COSTS! SERIOUSLY ******
I ordered a treadmill and paid in FULL. In my confirmation email it stated it would be shipped within 1-4 business days. I ordered it Jan 7th and still have not received it. I called to inquire about the status. Each time, I'm told I will receive a tracking number from Fedex within 24 hours and it will be shipped out. I've called 4 times and received the same answer each time. I got so frustrated with the non-communication from this company and having to constantly follow up with my order I cancelled the order after the 4th LIE I received. I was then told I would receive my full refund within 7-12 business days. I still have not received my full refund. I called today to be told the same thing. I asked for someone higher than herself and there wasn't anyone else I could speak with. I asked if I could get an email confirming my cancellation and was told "that is not within their policy" I asked "is it within your policy to communicate with your customer, because that has not happened thus far" I was told "No" This company is absolutely disgusting and is a scam. Don't waste your money on them as they will not take care of you and continually lie just to keep your money. I've reached out the the founder and CEO of the company. I encourage you all to do the same.

Completely unprofessional, unreliable, and disrespectful to customers. No product, no refund, no response.

Bad customer service

Fedex lost the item I purchased from Deerrun. After getting no satisfaction from Fedex, I called Deerrun customer service and was told they would file a claim with Fedex. I never heard from them again.

I have finally filed a dispute with my credit card company.

I ordered a treadmill and paid upfront. For over a week, I received absolutely no communication from the company. Only after I reached out myself did I get vague and inconsistent excuses – first, that the item was packed and ready, then that they were overwhelmed with orders and everything would be fine. As a form of “compensation,” they offered a 10 euro discount.
Now, after more delays, they messaged me on Facebook saying the product is “sold out” and they will refund my money. So far, no refund has been issued and they are ignoring all my emails and messages.

Completely unprofessional, unreliable, and disrespectful to customers. No product, no refund, no response.

This has been the WORST buying…

This has been the WORST buying experience I’ve ever had. Firstly, the treadmill did not run properly so I requested a return and refund. It has been OVER a month of emails back and forth with me getting the run around about shipping labels and jumping me from representative to representative. I’ve not talked to the same customer service person once. It’s always “we are working on your request” Really? For a month? Then I was offered $30 to keep a broken machine?! Seriously? This is not an ethical company and they don’t back their products, if I could give no stars I would have. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMAPNY!
