Teapot, great look but...

The company is well known for coffee but they also make teapots and I bought one of these. The look of the teapot is fabulous however from my point of view the lid is not practical. As with many tea drinkers, I stir the pot before pouring the tea. Very hot condensation runs down the lid when it is opened which can scald. I now use a cloth to open the lid but it would have been far better to have a lid that comes off fully made in a different material.
