My friend was VERY chuffed with her happy birthday cake card. She stated that the red velvet was the best she had ever had!!

I was concerned as I didn't realise she was away when it arrived- however she got it two days later and cake was still very delicious and moist.

Simple ordering process, good value for money and delicious, well-packaged cake that arrived on time - what more could we ask for?

Ordering was a doddle with good choices of cards and cake flavours. The card was delivered early but the recipient was delighted!

I ordered a cake card with two slices in place of a regular greetings card for my sister-in-law's baby shower. The card was received in good time, and enjoyed greatly by them. Apparently it got some attention, and recommendations, at the party, so you may get some referrals from that!

Perfection in a card
I ordered a cake card for my cousin, and the genius that is me must have pressed the wrong date button. When I realised I emailed, and the lovely people at sponge offered to send it out right away or give me a refund. Excellent service, and it made my cousins day, loved the fact I was able to personalise the card with a photo too. And she sent me a giant YUM when she had tried them!

I visited a friend on a Wednesday morning, before I was due to board a flight 4 hours later. The friend shared that it was her Golden Wedding anniversary on the Friday. En route to the airport I went online, ordered a cake card, appropriate celebration card, added my own wording,and paid my dues (unfortunately I did not have my Norfolk Passport with me to claim discount). My friend was delighted with her unexpected surprise, and the quality of the cake. This is not the first time I have ordered from Sponge, and will continue to do so. Oh, and the full size lemon and elderflower cake we ordered for the Royal Wedding in May was to die for!

This is the second cake card I have sent and both were happily received. Great for a birthday treat when friends live away.
Easy to navigate website, lots of choice and delicious cake or so I am told. Will be ordering again, great for any occasion.

Great service- missed the same day dispatch deadline by 30 minutes... emailed... quick response to confirm will sort .... card & cake arrived next day.
This was a treat for my daughter who loved the surprise in the post and said the cake was really tasty too!

The cake cards arrived as promised and were well received. Apparently the cake was delicious! I have sent a few of these now and they are always a lovely surprise for the recipient. I think they are reasonably priced and something different to send. The website is very easy to use and sending them only takes a few minutes and there is a great choice of cards. Being a Sponge Club member means you get more for your money which is always a bonus!

It was an unusual gift and a fun way to wish someone good luck as they headed off to uni. it arrived promptly the recipient ‘s comment was that it was the cutest card she’d ever seen. Teamed with a hot chocolate it seemed like a perfect pick me up in case homesickness struck and she needed some comfort food.

My son enjoyed the cake card but it was late and didn’t arrive on his birthday.
