I always get great results whenever I call. Agents are super helpful, friendly and get things done expeditiously. I needed a document faxed and it was done on the spot. Thank you California Casualty!!
Calling my insurance company with confidence and knowing it’s going to get done right, the first time.
You have treated me well for 30 years.
I often receive emails to obtain a quote as I work in public service (rescue). I've called this company for a quote several times over the years and with no accidents, no expensive cars, no tickets, or other liability issues, they are always more expensive than other companies. I'm not expecting to pay little to nothing for insurance, but I'm trying to figure out how they are higher than the other insurance companies and still in business.

This is quality is so many ways. I have had this insurance for more that fifteen years and it has remained the most reliable and affordable with so many perks. Thank you
I went to log in and print out my insurance card, only to find that the digital portal denied me access and said my account was canceled. Ended up selling my car and moving on, only to find out that they continued to charge me. I tried to contact them when I realized, only to have them shut down due to technical difficulties for weeks. Finally reached them, only to find out that they cannot do anything to help. As a company that is supposed to help those who do the most for our communities, I am appalled by the lack of care and attempted shifting of blame and responsibility away from them and onto the insurance holder to figure out why it showed it was canceled.

I have been very impressed with California's honesty! In businesses, this is a very rare commodity. They did not try to upsell me. They (years ago) told me that the insurance I had with another company was actually better for me at that time. This alone sold me that if I ever needed them, they would be my pick. When that other company dropped me for homeowner's insurance, CC was the first company I called. After checking other companies, I realized that CC was best for me. They accepted me and I couldn't be happier!
I have been with California Casualty for around 30 years! I’ve always had great service through a variety of vehicles and family members. I’m grateful that I’ve been able to cross worrying about car and home insurance off my list! Amazing customer service and claims support!
I love CalCas! I consistently have had wonderful service with knowledgeable people.
I've had California Casualty for over thirty years and been a happy customer. They even insure my antique cars through their partner, Condon & Skelly.
Always have had great service, a person who we can understand and takes the time to explain everything.
I wish there was an option to give zero rating. I can't believe that I have to go through such shit show with this insurance (home insurance). Every person I came across was just horrible experience. Beginning January 2025, my neighbor's water tank leaked and destroyed my property. Luckily neighbor's insurance took full responsibility and quite honestly I was really impressed how efficient and knowledge AAA adjuster was. Hope CC had such people working for them. My adjuster, her supervisor, and the subrogation lady such horrible people to deal with. I would highly recommend all CC customers to stay away from them. Matter of fact I wouldn't even recommend CC to anyone now. CC says we value our customer's, well that's a lie. I have to constantly call CC and AAA to speed up the process so my property can get fixed. I lost count on how many times I had to email and call my adjuster at CC to get status update. Was ignored for days before someone reached out to me. The carpeting in both my rooms were destroyed, including the dry wall. Carpeting was the same all through out my condo. That carpet is no longer made need less the say the color was not there either. CC confirmed this as well. Funny thing is CC saying they only going to pay for damage done in my bedrooms. I told them this doesn't make any sense, I can't have two different style of carpeting in my condo based on their logic. I was told it's their policy. AAA adjuster was surprised to hear that. It actually sounded hilarious CC has dumb policy like this. AAA adjuster had to call CC to let them know again that all charges are AAA's responsibility. AAA even told CC that the client will need to change the entire carpeting now since it was continuous carpeting through out the condo. AAA had to send me a separate check to cover the remainder cost coz CC was not doing their job right and basically wasn't willing to help. It's not like CC was paying this from their pocket. It's almost June now and am still trying to get my deductible refunded. AAA has said they paying off my deductible but as usual CC has issues and is just dragging this out. I can't believe I had to go through this shit show with CC. I'm the victim here. The other insurance acknowledged that has been very understandable. They took full financial responsibility, I'm just shocked that my insurance will give me such hard times.

My home and car was insured with this company for 9 years! I missed 1(!) payment in nine years and without as much as a courtesy phone call they cancelled my insurance! Worse, when I tried signing back up they declined me because my roof was more than 20 years old! They claimed: fire hazard. Mind you, I live in a no fire hazard zone according to the official CAL Fire map!

TRASH COMPANY. Horrible customer service. After a claim is made your claim agent will not answer your phone calls at all. Tried calling several times through out the day and the operator could not do anything for me either because she says the agent will help me. But he won’t pick up his phone and do his job. TRASH COMPANY.

My home was destroyed in the Eaton Fire and you guys were quick with payments. I have been with CA Casualty since I was in the Marine Corps and am now active duty LAFD. I have been with you for over 25 years. You need to make a commercial out of my story.
All my concerns were quickly addressed - removing one car from my account, changing my home address, and one other thing I can't remember. The person who helped me was so easy to work with and talk to! The whole experience made me feel really good.
They really don’t deserve a star. I’ve been with them for eight years and now is very disappointed in 2025 I’m having to find out that my home insurance has been increased it to $800 now due to because we have fires up in California. This insurance decides to go ahead and increase my policy for myHome. I will be looking for another insurance company has not or not willing to compromise with me to get a good deal for insurance on my home very disappointing and sad for me that I have to discontinue my policy with them.
Five stars for never doing anything the last 30 years except increasing the rates and giving Less customer service to its customers. People giving them five stars have only been with them for a few years and don't know what it used to be like good luck in the future with them you're going to need it! Please fire all your remote workers and hire a call center from India or the Philippines, that might help your customer service ratings and lower the bills for customers!
