Sabina was so patient. She listened to all my concerns before offering any advice. I felt really at ease speaking to her and she guided my thoughts rather than giving me answers. She really helped me draw my own conclusions by asking me relevant questions and navigating my thought process. She provided me with the confidence to trust my parental instincts. She was very pleasant throughout and was able to draw on her own experiences to help guide me. I really appreciated Sabina's advice and will not hesitate to book her in again in future InshaAllah.

Recently I also used Sabinah's counselling services. Sabinah listened to my concerns attentively and rather than just splashing out advice she gave me the opportunity to think about how I could help myself. She made me realise that I couldn't change people and their behaviours, but I could change my perspective of a situation and my reactions to a situation. She helped me with some relaxation methods to help calm my nervous system when it's in that fight or flight stage and also taught me to reflect upon my actions afterwards.

As a coach, Sabinah combines sensitivity and understanding with responsibility and accountability. I have benefitted greatly from Sabinah’s advice and guidance. I was going through lot of personal problems and her guidance was very enlightening. Her counselling is all based on recent research on human psychology and family dynamics. She also has loads of innate wisdom and clarity of thoughts and is able to unravel your own hidden emotions during her sessions. Talking to her helped me discover my own true self.
We are all on our own journey with God and with people around us : her sessions were to me a stepping stone towards my own self-discovery.

I recently had the pleasure of seeking advice from an incredible and experienced SENCO and teacher who guided me through the EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) process. Before speaking to her, I had little knowledge of what was involved and felt quite overwhelmed, unsure if I would ever find the right support. From our very first conversation, she was attentive, patient, and generous with her time and expertise. She not only listened to all of my concerns but also offered invaluable advice and solutions that made navigating the EHCP process much more manageable. I am so grateful to have found her and will certainly continue to stay in touch. Her professionalism and genuine care have made a world of difference, and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone seeking support in this area. If you are someone going through the same process as me, Sr Sabinah is definitely the person you should reach out to!

I joined Calm and Confident parenting in Feb 2024 after I had attended other short parenting courses in the past as I realised I needed a lengthy and detailed course with live support from the coach to really help me with my parenting journey. I totally received the help and support that I was looking for with this course. I have learnt about myself and what areas I need to work on. The advice given can be easily understood and followed and with anything it all takes practice. So I am still learning and improving on my parenting journey and in the short space of a few months I have already seen several positives within my family home. Thank you very much Sabina for listening with empathy and for always providing the best advice.

This course really is life changing. I know I have a long way to go, but I really can see the change in me. All my life I tried to be calm, but when faced with anything, I was my old self again.
However, last week an incident took place that had also taken place last year. And the way I dealt with it was completely different. I was very calm. My heart was relaxed. It was at that moment I realised that that I have changed to a better version of my self.
I still have a long way to go. Self improvement is a life long journey.
I can honestly say that I feel calm and content now . Alhamdulillah. All praises are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.

It's me that needed changing. I don't have control over my environment. I can only change myself, and in sha Allah it will have an impact on my loved ones .

I truly enjoyed my time working with Sabinah. She is so reflective and thoughtful, she never rushes her advice. Every penny was a penny well spent on this course. I feel I didnt get enought time with Sabinah and to be honest I didnt make the most of her time but I still gained so much from what I was able to take part in.

Sometimes you wish you could put Sabinah in your pocket lol. I was going through such a difficult time with my daughter at one point and often felt overwhelmed by my emotions. Im not saying it doesnt get that way still, but I feel im better than I was and thats in light of the fact that I Still havent gone through ALL the course content yet and the 4 weeks I paid for are up so Im glad I've still got material to review.

I wish Sabinah all the success for her business for many years to come. I'm sure she will go on to help many others in that time.

I started the course in February, and have found the course helpful, particularly the live groups sessions. I don't usually feel comfortable with group sessions but Sabinah and the other mums were very supportive and not judging, and Sabinah would encourage us to problem solve any issues with her support. I can now apply this to other issues in my life. I would say that my husband is now more supportive and more likely to work through parenting problems together with me because of some of the changes that I have put in place. She has also taught me to not be so affected by what other people say about me and my parenting, and so it has given me space to put in some of the strategies we have discussed on the course.

I joined Calm and Confient Mums course back in January.  I needed a safe space to discuss my parenting struggles without being judged.  I have many good friends whom i can go to for advice, but I needed to speak to someone who would protect mine and my children's dignity and honour.

Since joining I have benefitted so much and still benefitting from the weekly coaching sessions. All praise to God

Money was an issue as I don't work and did not have any savings... but I knew, that my children were more precious to me than the course fees... I prayed alot and asked God to help me. I told myself that the money I would spend on this course is an investment for my children and inshaAllah (God Willing) in their lifetime, my children will earn many times more than this.... this amount of money is insignificant in comparison to my children's quality of life. I also knew that the knoweldge I learn I wil pass onto my children and hopfefully, my children will be able to carry it into their adult lives and implement it for when they have their own children.

I am sharing this because money was my biggest obstacle, but instead of resigning myself to the fact that I didn't have the funds needed, I decided to ask myself how I could get it. I then asked a  friend and a family member if they can give a loan which I will pay over the course of the year.  All Praise to God, I was able to secure it and I have been gradually paying it back.

Those who know me, know that when I have a problem I go the experts:  first I buy books and read up on it and do searches on youtube and google to gain as much knowledge as I can; watching hours of videos, which are great and i learned a lot from them.  However, I needed someone with knowledge to guide me and show me what I was doing wrong and how to do it better.  Alhamdulillah I have come a long way.  This course has benefitted me  and my family immensely.

I came across Calm and Confident Parenting through a home education group I was in at the time. Sabina was offering a free 1-1 session for half an hour for mum's, offering them a way to be more calm and confident in their parenting. For quite some time I had been wanting to find a counsellor for myself because I was starting to feel like there is something wrong with me and my parenting.
So I attended this session with Sabina and instantly I felt at ease talking to her, and all the tears just came pouring out. She reassured me that I'm not a bad mother and if I was I wouldn't be searching for help!
I wasn't sceptical as such but I did wonder if I should spend the money on the course as we were already in a difficult financial situation, but Alhamdulillah I'm so glad that Allah guided me and gave me the means to join.
Since joining the coaching course I have definitely grown in confidence and meeting the other sisters on the group weekly, on a zoom call, has been so inspirational. It has made me realise that there are so many parents out there who are in the same or similar boat but just keep it bottled up inside until it's too late and you have a melt down (like me!). I feel so grateful to Allah for bringing Sabinah and the others in the course to me, and I can honestly say that I am on a journey towards being a more calm and confident parent and wife! Obviously the course isn't going to automatically change you or your circumstances, but if you really put in the effort it can really work wonders. I would like to urge any parents out there who feel worn out and torn to pieces, to get in contact with Sabinah, because I really believe she is a huge blessing sent from Allah to help us all.

I had been seeking counseling for a very long time through the NHS. The people I came across felt as if they were not compatible for their job and they were not able to meet my needs. I felt desperate for help and also hopeless. However, when I started this course with Sabina, I felt so refreshed and could look at life in a positive way. She helped me to heal my own traumas first so I could be a better mother to my children. It has been few months now and I am only getting better at being myself and setting my boundaries and also for my family. I like the fact I can send her message anytime when I am struggling and she helps me understand and find the solution to the problem/issue. i have already set so many boundaries and have become at peace with myself. I know the journey of motherhood is a long one, but am sure the things I have learnt from Sabina will help me get through it god-willing.😁
