We did the beginner & advanced puppy classes for our pup, and the intro to scentwork for our older dog. Melissa's been absolutely brilliant, so patient and forthcoming with advice about non-class questions too! Really recommend.
Melissa walked our dog for a number of years and was brilliant, he loved going with her and she was so flexible and professional. We only stoped sending our dog as we moved out of the area otherwise we would have loved to keep using Melissa. We also did a scent training class with her a little while back which was brilliant. Cant recommend her highly enough!
Having tried a couple of different trainers in the Cambridge area, Melissa's courses were by far my favourite.
She held small, personal classes which allowed for better learning and engagement. We worked on a small number of related commands in each class instead of a wide range which had been my experience with other classes. I found this to be a fantastic approach - it has really helped with training and my confidence. I'm looking forward to continuing training with Melissa!
We really enjoyed Melissa's scentwork classes. Melissa is very knowledgeable and patient as the dogs (and owners!) start to learn what scentwork is all about. She keeps the classes small so you get plenty of opportunity to practise searching. My dog loves the classes and always sleeps like a baby afterwards, so what more could you ask for!
Very good at watching each puppies individual progress during classes. Good feedback and suggestions on making some training harder if puppy already capable of doing certain tasks which I found extremely helpful to continue to challenge puppy in doing certain tasks. Melissa is very knowledgeable and her webpage and videos are very helpful.
