My child was in the playtime group at Colfe’s and she had a great day with her teacher Niamh. The staff were helpful at check out and she enjoyed the activities.

Disgusted from this camp...I definitely do not recommend. They removed my 5Y old daughter after 1 day of camp out of 2 weeks paid, without anty refund. They failed to take into account that it was the first time ever for her at a summer camp, new adults, no friends yet, new schedule, new activities. Everything was completely disregarded when they chose to remove her. When asked to give her a second chance the day after they miserably refused to do so.

My 5 years old daughter started summer camp at Colfe's school this week, she has been excluded after the first day and cannot go back for the rest of the two weeks. She was so upset to know that she cannot go back the next day. It was her first time attending a summer camp, she was curious of the new environment so she wants to wander around in the school building. She was a bit overwhelmed by lots of kids being in the same room and trying to cope with the transition between activities at the same time, so she left the room by herself and want some quiet moments. I think the camp should have an extra member of staff who can help young children to settle in the summer camp. Everypne deserves a second chance. We would be grateful if she can be allowed to go back to the camp and try again for a few hours a day to ease back in. I would not recommend parents to send their children who has never been to summer camp to Camp Beaumont at Colfe's.

Amazing camp for my 5 and 7 years old! Both of my kids have been loving going there at Latymer Upper School location and can’t wait to go back. They do lots of activities, arts and crafts, games, obstacle courses… and the staffs are all lovely and polite. I’m thankful for the great experience my kids are having this holidays.

My son attends summer camp and really like it staff are good. Some activities are good but some could be better.

My daughter was the last to get out of the changing rooms for swimming. She was not given arm bands and she went into the pool. She knows older children don't have armbands but she was 5 and could not say anything. She was swimming along the bar but decided to swim across the pool. Half way, in the centre of the pool, she needed to take a breath. She had not learned this yet and sank. She managed after several attempts to get back to the surface and then swim to the other side. Noone saw this. She says there were 2 teachers in the room and noone came and checked on her.

Ive passed this experience onto Ofsted, she was 5 at the time, she comes under Early Years.

Our 5yo had a great 2 weeks at Donhead, we also had a week at King's. My boy loved all the activities and prefers Camp Beaumont to another camp we tried in the area. Special thanks to Daisy, Anna and the staff for making him feel welcome, even on difficult mornings when there were some tears. I love that the staff remembers the kids' names so it doesn't feel like they're just a number.

Camp Beaumont at Donhead prep school has been amazing! Our two daughters had a great time during their summer holiday. Many thanks to Daisy and other staff looking after our daughters! Highly recommended Camp Beaumont and we will definitely be back soon!

Son has been going to the camp at Caterham School over the past year. He’s enjoyed the varied activities and all the staff are friendly and they all know each child’s name.

Kids are really enjoying camp Beaumont held at Caterham school. They enjoy the range of activities like swimming and games and the staff are great at getting to know the kids and all their names. Will be booking again.

We go to the Claremont Beaumont Camp in Esher. My kids love it here and the staff are outstanding. Everyone is so helpful and kind. My kids come back with bits of clay or activities they have done in the day. And although my kids don't like the stage group game it does give them a confidence boost once they are over the fear of being on stage. They have learnt so much and have been going since three years old so all the staff know them well and it's lovely to see the journey of them growing.

This half term we decided to use the Heatherton Camp , which i must say our boy loved! We were a little apprehensive as previously we had used the Berkhamsted Camp , which from our experience was not great , our boy really didn't enjoy it there.

Im so glad we decided to try the Heatherton Camp , the team there are great , and from all the happy stories from our boy , we know he loved it! Each day sent home with a report card of the days events , the smaller setting i think leads to more teacher/worked engagement which for us works really well! The team were always happy and smiling and really seem invested in the positive experiences for the children!

We will be returning! Thank you guys & girls !

Our son loved this camp at Epsom College! The leaders are really passionate about what they do and he came back everyday desperate to go back the next. Great variety of activities and chance to try out new games and sports. We will definitely send our son back to the summer camp!

We booked Camp Beaumont in Berkhamsted in the summer of 2024 for our then 3.5 year old. He enjoyed the couple of days he spent there so I ambitiously booked him in for multiple weeks for the summer holidays of 2025. I reasoned that he was 4.5, with a full year of school nursery under his belt so it would be fine. What I didn't realise was that they had changed the venue to a different school in Berkhamsted and that as a result of building works taking place, the smallest kids would be with all the other older kids for huge chunks of the day. This included being in the sports hall with all ages which was very loud and overwhelming for my son. What I found particularly upsetting was that he was visibly upset, crying on and off throughout the day and I didn't find that out until I arrived to pick him up. He collapsed into my arms sobbing and couldn't even articulate why he was so upset. I would expect a child being this upset to at least warrant a phone call to the parent to let them know that their child is having a tricky time. I would have rather collected him early than him persist in that environment without support. I think the fact that these camps are largely staffed by young adults without children really shows. When I collected him, another child had banged their face quite badly and was sobbing uncontrollably, again this would have seemed like a good time to phone their parent but I didn't see anyone doing so. I did phone the following day to speak to the manager to try and find out more about what his day had been like and she was honest with me about it which I appreciated. We came up with a plan for the following week that included him being able to duck out of the group sessions for quiet colouring and using his ear defenders if it was too loud but we never had the opportunity to put any of that into practice as on the next day he was booked in he had such a visceral full body fear reaction to the idea of going for even a short time that I couldn't bring myself to force him to go. I did get a full refund aside from the flex amount I paid so that was helpful but I am now in the unfortunate position of having to build his confidence in going to holiday childcare back up from scratch. This October half term, I only managed to get him to look around another provider on one day and stay for an hour on another. I will likely have to build that up for him next school holiday until he feels safe being left somewhere new. If you have older children who are accustomed to going to holiday childcare, this provider is great. If you have a younger or more sensitive child, I don't feel that they are equipped to handle that particularly well. This may have just been an unfortunate confluence of issues that won't be repeated again but I won't be able to find out as my son will not entertain returning to their camps again.

We have used the donhead camp twice and both times have been really great. My son has loved the activities and come home full of enthusiasm to go back. The staff are really engaged and positive. I really like the little card at the end of the day saying what they have been up to, how my child has been and what they particularly enjoyed.

Another great Camp at Caterham. It eases the ‘mum and dad guilt’ knowing the children are having a great time, lots of activities with a lovely team. Thanks Camp Beaumont Caterham and see you all soon
