We rented an easy clever X 4x4. What a nice van. He has taken us everywhere and beyond. The after-hours pick up was well arranged and we were on our way in no time. Because we had spent the night in the area, we drove back the next day to exchange the inverter, we had received 1 for an UK plug. We were kindly helped by Charlie who also got our tablet working for the route planning, handy guy. The camper is doable for 2 adults and it makes you nice and flexible. Converting the bed is also super fast after the 2nd day. We were lucky with the weather but for some F-roads we really made the 4x4 useful. Iceland is beautiful from a motorhome. Returning the camper was also easy and we found Charlie again who was closing up and helped us with the return of an unused gas tank. Next time definitely a camper, maybe a size bigger. Greetings Britt and Paul

We booked the easy-small for a trip around Iceland, and for 7 days, it was our home. It was so homely we prefered to cook and eat there rather than using the common rooms of the campsites with stayed in! Very easy to maneuver and with a decent fuel consumption. Thanks to the heating system (WEBASTO), we didn't feel cold at all during the brisk April nights. The only issue we had was related to the tablet not charging, but that was promptly and remotely solved by the Camp Easy staff. The staff was always super nice and willing to help and advise us, answering all the questions we brought them. They also allowed us to spend the last night of our trip there, as we had to be in the airport early.
Take care when packing for a trip using this camper - you will easily fill up a lot of the available space. But with a little ingenuity and team work, there is plenty of room to work with.
All the commodities are easy to work with - the gas stove, heating system, water refill. Very well equiped with cutlery and kitchenware (all the basics, plus a very good knife, kitchen board, can and bottle openers).
When we return to Iceland, we will definitely book with Camp Easy again, evetually upgrade to a 4x4 vehicle and explore the highlands!

It has been an amazing experience, Dom welcomed us on our arrival and greeted us on the return, the van had no faults and was super practical and fantastic for 10 days, thanks Campeasy

Excellent service from collection at the airport to drop off at the end of our trip thanks to Dom. The viking was awesome, the heater kept us almost too warm, the tablet and wifi were both invaluable. Would recommend to anyone.

Our trip was so amazing! Thanks to CampEasy. The mini camper was so cozy, easy to drive and so convenient for the long trip. I highly recommend EasyCamp. Also, their support was truly amazing before the start of our trip and during our trip! 5/5 stars

We had an amazing 2 week trip through Iceland with our Camp Easy van. The van worked perfectly and was easy to handle, even on the snowy and icy roads. With temperatures as low as -20c the heater was the best thing ever, keeping it relatively comfortable inside. Charlie (very friendly and happy) picked us up from the airport and made everything in order, all while keeping us entertained with his stories. He recommended us to visit the small town Seydisfjordur and he was right since it was the nicest town we visited. Camp Easy was transparent and fair in their policies and camper inspection and they were easy to reach if you had any problems. We are definitely visiting the beautiful Iceland again and for sure will rent a van here again!

Winter ring road on Campeasy Viking
It's october 2022 when me and the wife decided to go to Iceland on February 2023, after some research we found out that booking a campervan was by far the best way to explore iceland (for us)
and that booking with CAMPEASY was the way to go, they have 5 stars on all platforms and it's deserved.
why book with Campeasy?
The customer support is incredible specially Iris, who picked us up from our arbnb, checked us in, gave us a lot of usefull Tips about iceland, the roads, the weather, etc, showed us the camper,
and 13 days later checked us out and drove us to the airport (almost like a one Woman show :) ) but there are plenty of people working on the back to make your experience unforgetable.
And yes as you might have already guessed this is another 5* review for CAMPEASY and the VIKING.
Now for the juicy part, THE VIKING
Packed full of features, big, robust, armed with 4x4 and big winter tyres (4x4 is for sure a must if you go in february like we did, on several cases it was the difference beetween
getting to a place and seeing the waterfall/canyon etc or have to turn around and miss the whole atraction and hours of travelling to the site).
The Viking will keep you warm trough the subzero nights with it's webasto and whool insulation, it will get you trough rain, wind, snow, mud, gravel, everything iceland trows
at it, we faced some nasty weather conditions and never felt unsafe on the viking.
The auxiliar battery on which the heating system and all the acessories feed from, was capable of enduring the entire night charging our phones, the ambience leds on, the fridge on, the heat on
without help from the campsite eletricity.
It may be a big campervan but it certainly doesnt feel like that when you are on the steering wheel, it handles incredibly easy, light and nimble, the suspension absorbs holes and bumps on
the road as if its nothing, even on bumpy non paved roads its incredible.
A full sized spare tyre, and an awsome roof rack which was the perfect spot to be when the auroras decided to show. The Hook on the back proved to be usefull when we helped unstuck a tourist bus :) yes thats
the power of the viking.
The Tablet they provide is your best friend troughout the trip, and you can use it as net hotspot, don't forget to refresh the "nearby attractions" feature, it will lead you to some hidden gems off the
beaten path.
The fuel discount card is awsome since the viking is indeed a heavy drinker (It´s a Viking thing i guess).
Don't forget to ask for cramp-ons if you go in the winter, they will prove to be very very usefull (thank us later)
All and All if you are going to iceland book with campeasy, and if you can, book a viking, it will make your experience beyond perfect.

Our experience with Campeasy in Iceland was amazing! We were collected straight away from the airport even though we were earlier than expected. Iris was the person who collected us and who went through the details when we arrived. She was lovely and happy to answer any questions! We had a good laugh with her. The van was perfect (still can’t believe how good the heater was!) and any questions we had were answered super quickly through the chat. When we returned to camp easy we spoke to someone else but Iris also spotted us and made the time to ask us all about our trip even though camp easy was busy at that point! Would definitely recommend this company and will definitely be returning!

CampEasy help create a personal travel itinerary for us on our 7 day trip to Iceland. They created a personal route around the Ring Road that included locations we personally requested to see as well as campsites at the end of each day. The 4x4 Viking van was AMAZING. No equipment issues and everything worked perfectly. We were provided a GPS tablet that guided us on the entire trip with the itinerary preloaded into it. It also allowed us to check weather and road conditions while driving. I would HIGHLY recommend CampEasy for anyone looking for an adventure on their Iceland trip.

It took me a long while to decide what review I should give to this service. I considered giving the service a 5-star review because it represents a bonus for the sales-person, but I wouldn't feel morally okay with risking someone's life over it. Why does this service have so many 5-star reviews? Because you receive the flyer I am attaching..
TL;DR Our life was put in danger twice with serious malfunctions that kept us stranded for 18 hours total and made us lose an already paid tour, BUT they reimbursed us for a day of the rent service and I can say that was fair by them.
I rented an EasyBig (Ford Transit) camper with 150,000km in very good external shape, and very well equipped. Unfortunately at 19:00pm, after two hours of being driven, the wheel of the vehicle stopped working, and I had to carefully go out of the way. I was very fortunate that this happened at 50km/h outside Reyjkavik and not going at 90km/h. If this had happened in the road to Vik I would definitely have sustained a major incident. After parking in the side of the road and despite they advertising 24/7 assistance, I called their emergency line where I was told to wait inside of the campervan until 7am next morning to get a replacement vehicle. I asked if they could change the vehicle and they said they couldn't until the mechanic saw it, and he was already out of his shift. I asked if I had to pay for a hotel and they said "just stay in the van". I told them they had said wild-camping was illegal and the person on the phone said "that is what we say but we always do it and the police won't bother you". Because I had to find a place to stay the night, I had to ask for help outside of the vehicle and a tow truck moved me to Reyjkavik campsite.
The vehicle was not changed at 7am, but until 10:30am when the mechanic confirmed he couldn't repair the vehicle outside their workshop. By then, 15 hours had already transcurred and I had to skip the Western peninsula tour which we had booked and paid through Viator.
I was given a VW Crafter with 79,000km that I considered an upgrade from the first vehicle.. I drove from Reyjkavik to Borgarnes and at 12pm after driving for one hour and a half, the new vehicle suffered an even bigger problem: the engine shut down without prior notice and would not turn on again. This time I was driving at 90km/h and we almost cause a major crash since heavy trucks where behind us. I called them again and they sent a third vehicle which arrived at 15pm and unfortunately we had to cut our trip short.
The last vehicle we received was a very new Crafter with 7,000km a little bit more diesel hungry, but definitely they did the right thing making sure the third vehicle didn't fail.
Could I have given them a better review? Definitely, but:
1. Nobody apologized for the inconveniences until we returned the third vehicle to the office (big props to Iris). By phone they kept saying it was "surprising", and "unlikely" to the point where I felt I was being accused of causing the malfunctions.
2. I'm still mad the first person chuckled when I asked where I should stay considering I was very far from a restroom or a campsite. Being stranded in the middle of a new country immediately after landing AND being laughed at is borderline traumatic.
3. They definitely could have picked a new vehicle and just drive it to Reyjkavik and replace the first vehicle instead of asking me to wait 12 hours for a replacement. 7pm is not that late to go the extra mile and do the right thing. And if you say you will replace it at 7am, don't replace it at 10:30am.
4. Despite arranging a shuttle to the airport at 1pm they decided to wait for other customers who had a trip to the airport as well, making us wait until 2pm even though our flight departed at 3pm.
5. Learning that the 5-star reviews come from the "invitation" to give a 5-star review so that an stellar worker receives a bonus is fake advertising. Iris did a great job descalating the situation and her bonuses should not be linked to the very poor condition of the vehicles.
Great service friendly staff very knowledgeable. Excellent camper fully equipped shuttle to and from the airport with to the T instructions.

Just fantastic from start to finish!
Iris greeted us at the airport for our shuttle with huge smiles and a genuine warm welcome.
The service was 100% spot on. And I can say this with with experience after hiring a camper van 4 months before from a competitor which was a disaster.
The camper van had everything we needed and the addition of the tablet with maps, local attractions, direct chat access etc was invaluable.
We cannot wait to book again and will definitely be using CampEasy every time.

I had a great experience with CampEasy two weeks ago, renting a small Nissan X serie just for one person for 5 days. With the help of Iris and Agne I felt very comfortable starting this trip alone. Both of them were very supportive and I came back with a lot of great memories with the van! Can´t wait to do another trip with CAMP EASY!!

Incredible experience!!! From the beginning to the end, the team was very helpful and professional and we felt supported at all times. We had friends renting out vehicles from other companies and CampEasy was the only one that kept sending e-mails warning for future storms and extreme weather changes. The vehicle was in great conditions and the company makes sure you’ve got everything you need for a comfortable trip. Where other companies in Iceland will charge you extra for everything (driver, duvet, kitchenware, etc), CampEasy provides most of the necessary objects and gadgets you will need to make your trip smoother. They even returned us back the money from the extra gas bottle we didn’t use! As the van was wool insulated inside, we could sleep without even turning on the heating system because it wouldn’t get extremely cold inside. Before we booked, we did an extensive comparison with most of the Campers companies in Iceland and found only one on the CampEasy level. Finally, we think we’ve done the best choice! Congrats, CampEasy and thank you for being one of the reasons why this trip was incredible and unforgettable.

Our experience with CampEasy was great! We went to Iceland for 10 days in October to drive the ring road.
The Easy Clever 4x4 was a tank in the icy and snow conditions we encountered in Iceland in mid-October. It handled F roads with ease as well. The van was compatible with Apple CarPlay, which was great. It comes with a tablet with a navigation system if you don't want to do CarPlay which also works will.
There is plenty of space for two people each with their own larger bag and smaller bag. The heater does a great job quickly warming up the van and can easily be converted between sleeping/eating/driving. Overall, we were really happy with our van!
The wifi hotspot can be a bit spotty - usually turning the hotspot off and then on again did the trick. We also didn't use it much because we had cellular data.

WOW! This rental was amazing and perfect in every way.
My fiancé and I loved taking the CampEasy Van on our 10-day trip around the Ring Road! I cannot say enough about how cozy this was and so well equipped. The van handles very well and was easy to drive. The inside was comfortable, functional and so cute! They provided everything we needed for cooking and so many other thoughtful items that we used throughout the trip.
There is plenty of room for storing clothing, bags, and groceries. The set-up was super easy to change from dinner table into our bed and back again. The cushions used for the bed were cozy and we slept great every night! We did this trip in October, so we were stoked when we learned our van had a heater in the back, so we weren't cold a single night and could always warm up quickly. The van came with plenty of adapters for charging and its own iPad with gps, weather alerts, northern light patterns, and helpful videos.
Our CampEasy Van was so well designed, plenty of places to sit and hang while you’re at camp or pulled over on the side of the road making dinner. It honestly felt like home 🙌🏼❤️
Everyone who assisted us was phenomenal. They were quick to respond with any questions, before, during, and after our trip. I never felt worried about being "lost" in Iceland 🙃
I strongly recommend CampEasy Vans, and I look forward to renting from them again in the future.
