great van but minor repairs are a headache
We love our camper king van, however it is a shame that this past two years our nearest dealer has closed and now we have to travel 3 hours for minor repairs, and there is a several months waiting time for any repair. Education on DIY repairs and/or building the vans with accessibility to the electrics and water tank so owners can feesably attempt repairs within their skills without dismantling the whole van would make it much easier to be able to recommend a CK purchase to fellow van lovers.

Banbury Outlet
Went to Banbury for my van Habitation Inspection to be completed. These guys also carried out a few extra requests I made, answered all my questions (15 of them regarding operation of items in my van) and basically took time out to make sure I was completely informed. I also had a look around there shop which was filled with fantastic goodies. Regret not finding them a long time ago. A top draw service received

Our experience with Camperking HQ has…
Our experience with Camperking HQ has been excellent! Right from our very first visit when we were toying with the idea of getting a van - staff have always been very knowledgeable and helpful but without any pressure.
Richard in particular has been excellent, from the moment we decided to invest to the moment we drove our van away - his knowledge, advice and reassurance in the choices we made has been very much appreciated! Richie was also fabulous during handover making it a fun and memorable experience.

Far from a campervan dream
After 3 years of ownership of a CamperKing van it brings me sadness to report that this has been one of the biggest financial mistakes I’ve made. While I’ve had some wonderful trips in the van, it has been a litany of highly expensive issues, ranging from electrical issues associated with the kit-out, to a succession of issues with the van itself, yielding an endless stream of repairs, warning lights and breakages. This is all despite the van being under 3 years old at purchase and usage being under 10,000 miles a year. If I had any financially viable option to return the van I would, and it pains me to say the van dream, for myself, has been nothing short of a nightmare.

We were extremely happy with our experience at Camperking. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by Richard who showed us around all of the options and left us to wander on our own. Richard helped us understand what we did and didn’t need in a van, but was never pressuring or over-facing - really invaluable, he was great.
Buying a campervan is a minefield, but Camperking made it feel simple and understandable.
Danny was great on the financial side, answering all our questions and making the process painless.
Any concerns raised about the camper were addressed and resolved, couldn’t be happier with the service received.
Also happy with the fact that Camperking have everything under the one roof, having accessories, servicing and repairs at the one place is an advantage.

Slight fading of the paint to the pop top roof of my van. CK took van in without any quibble, re sprayed roof and went as far as re spraying other areas to match paint work.

Not happy numerous issues
Not happy (at the time of the review I gave one star as it was midnight and the bed broke).
Update:
They have contacted me and are going to replace the broken bits, in fairness they have always fixed things although there have been quite a few problems over the 15 months since I bought the van, which obviously is inconvenient and annoying.
In terms of dealing with the employees at the service centre they have always been friendly, approachable and professional, so perhaps my original review is too negative on aftercare. It is inconvenient driving up to their place in Banbury though and it would ideally not have to happen.
The negativity of my review is with the quality of the product I bought from Camperking, which is a used campervan. The van is great in itself but with lots of mainly little things going wrong and a few major ones - you can't help thinking what's going to be next. At the end of the day I would rather just have a quality product with nothing going wrong.

Oil leak
as part of the warranty
Addition the heater stopped working and they partially contributed to it
Sink pump broke also
Twice I drove the van to their place at my inconvenience and they gave me a replacement car
But tbh the wooden panel just snapping off makes me question the quality
They were quick to sell but I’m unconvinced of the quality of the product and aftercare )

I bought my Camper King T5.1 through a private sale but have used CK HQ at Banbury to have a solar panel fitted and a wireless reversing camera. They really are a great bunch to deal with and only at the end of the phone (or email) for any questions. Definitely recommend. And they’ve got some lovely campers in, VW Porn at its best!

Knowledgeable friendly team selling a great product.
We had been visiting CamperKing for over a year looking at various options. On every occasion the staff have been attentive and friendly but never pressuring. Earlier this year we found a van we loved but had wheels I didn’t like and other bits & pieces. Danny Aston was looking after us and nothing could be too much trouble, hence ensured things were changed to meet our requirements. We were kept updated throughout our purchase journey. I arranged to have a ghost immobiliser and tracker installed on the day of collection and again this was easily accommodated by them. We collected our van on the 31st May and we were shown around our van by the hilarious Richie but his humour also allowed the key drills to be remembered. It has been a wonderful experience in buying a quality product. If in the market for van go to CamperKing you will get a coffee and you can see a wide range vans and a friendly knowledgeable team with no pressure.

Having purchased a van from CamperKing some years ago we needed to sell it. CamperKing have handled the entire process for us and (although they obviously charge a fee) I am sure we have ultimately received a higher amount than if we had tried to sell privately. Perfect Customer Service
A huge thankyou to the team at Camper King! Following an oil sensor issue on my van, Camper King did a full diagnostic and then spent an hour in the workshop fixing the issue. My van was brilliantly retro fitted by them last year and so engine issues were never their responsibility. Nonetheless they fixed it without charge! Hats off to them!
