Hi Bernadette, thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry about the wait. When you confirmed your email, your application went straight to the employer's inbox with your résumé attached. From there, employers contact applicants directly, and many reply only to the people they shortlist, so silence usually means the employer hasn't chosen to reach out yet, not that your application was lost. If you'd like us to check on your application, email applications@canadajobcentre.com and we'll confirm it for you. We wish you the best with your job search. — Canada Job Centre team

Hi Rao, thank you for the 5-star review! Just so you know, Canada Job Centre isn't an employer, so we can't hire you directly. We list jobs from employers across Canada, and you apply to them on our site. To find driver jobs, search "driver" on canadajobcentre.com, open a job that fits, and press Apply. Your application goes straight to that employer. Before applying, check each job's requirements, such as the licence class and permission to work in Canada. Good luck with your search! — Canada Job Centre team

Hi Frank, thank you for the 5-star review, and for telling us about your cleaning experience! Canada Job Centre isn't an employer, so we can't hire you directly. We list jobs from employers across Canada, and you apply to them on our site. To find cleaning and housekeeping jobs, search "cleaner" or "housekeeper" on canadajobcentre.com, open a job that fits, and press Apply. Your application and résumé go straight to that employer. Hi Amit, thank you for the 5-star review! We're glad applying was easy. Canada Job Centre isn't the employer, though. We're a job board, so your application went straight to the company that posted the job, and they'll contact you directly if they'd like to move forward. Feel free to apply to other jobs that match your 2 years of experience, since applying to several improves your chances. Good luck! — Canada Job Centre team

Thank you for your honest feedback, and we're sorry you haven't heard back yet. Canada Job Centre is a free job board. We list openings and send your application to the employer, but each employer reviews the applications and decides who to hire, so we can't influence their decision. Many employers take several weeks to reply. To improve your chances, try applying to several jobs that match your experience, and turn on job alerts so you see new postings first. We wish you the best in your search.

Hi Zubair, thank you for taking the time to write. Twelve years in office administration, plus cashier and data entry work, is solid experience, and it's worth putting at the top of your resumé, even if none of it was in Canada.

Just so it's clear: Canada Job Centre is a free job board. We list openings from employers across Canada, and when you apply, your application goes straight to the employer. We don't hire anyone ourselves, and we can't influence an employer's decision. Most of the employers we list need applicants who are already allowed to work in Canada. For many of them, an LMIA or a valid work permit is part of the process.

A few things that might help:
- Use the filters to find jobs that don't need experience or a degree.
- Set up job alerts so you hear about new administration and data entry openings as soon as they're posted.
- Write each application around what that job asks for.

We wish you the very best in your search.

Title: An Application Experience That Could Be Improved

I used the Canada Employment Centre website to search for a security guard job in Canada. I found an interesting job opportunity and was able to submit my application.

However, as a candidate living in Mauritania, I would appreciate more information about recruitment opportunities for international applicants, work permit requirements, and the steps needed to work legally in Canada.

Clearer information on these matters would help international candidates better understand their options and avoid spending time applying for positions for which they may not be eligible.

I hope the website will continue to improve its services and provide better guidance to candidates who wish to work in Canada.

Thank you for the 5 stars and for the thoughtful feedback, Abdellahi! You're right that applying from outside Canada raises important questions. Our free Work Permit Guide (canadajobcentre.com/work-permit-guide) explains the main routes, and the LMIA jobs section lists positions where employers have approval to hire foreign workers. Best of luck with your search!
