Once we got started, work was getting done in a good manner, I'm still in question with e-mailing all the time I sometime like to talk with someone in person.

I quit my job January 2022 to start my own business. I tried hard but kept hitting roadblocks. The banks were not helping and every business centre seemed inexperienced. I asked questions and kept getting nowhere.

In March, I joined CanadaStartups.org and right from the start it was different. The expert that was mine contacted me and noted down all of my goals and my plans. They answered all of my questions. Including industry specific ones to my surprise. The experts make recommendations to apply to certain funding programs offered by the government. I was a bit nervouse to do so as I didn't want any debt, but they really showed me the ropes.

I joined at the end of March, applied to 2 programs offered by the government by summer time. I didn't hear anything back till now (November 10th) that I was approved. I amon a trip but had to make sure that I share my experiences and thank the team.

I joined Canada Startups to get help with finding government programs and get guidance with my plan moving to Canada.

Before I joined, I had many concerns as I've had a bad experience in the past. So had plenty of questions pre-registration. The support team helped quite a bit and answered them all. This helped make the decision to join easier.

After I joined, the staff that were assigned to me helped with the process of getting my idea on paper. I have a business in the US and wanted to expand to Canada. With this, I wanted experts to help me with the right move.

Canada Startup helped.

After my plan was on paper, they did a funding search and found multiple options. They started the application form guidaanve as well and helped me a great deal. A month after applying, they also did a new search and found better options.

I applied to a few options and got a $5000 grant and a $50,000 loan.

Couldn't have done it without the help.

Word of advice to those considering using Canada Startup is to let the experts go and do their job. Don't interrupt.
