Many people found the printers unreliable, frequently encountering issues like paper jams, blank pages, or devices stopping working soon after purchase. Customers also faced significant frustration with connectivity problems, including difficulties with WiFi and software compatibility, especially with non-Canon cartridges. Worst Printer Ever

This is the worst printer i have ever used. It can never pick up the devices, you have to down load the app to do anything- then it doesn't let you print the sizes you want- they all seem pre set. I've tried and persevered with this printer for several years and it just keeps getting worse. more downloads, still no fixes and apparently always off line despite it not being. DO NOT BUY- its not worth the stress!

PIXMA 3650s, poor product poor after sales support

I've had a PIXMA 3650s for just over 2 years so yes, warranty had just run out. Barely used the printer and only changed ink once. It went faulty, it printed text blurry. I went through all the maintenance and alignment procedure and did everything canon support suggested, no luck. All they could offer was a repair from £55 at best to an unlimited amount. It's a £40 printer! Terrible item and disgusting after care, stay clear and use another brand.

I'm very disappointed with Canon's…

I'm very disappointed with Canon's current cashback lens promotion. Despite reaching out multiple times, I have not received proper or prompt responses. With the deadline approaching, I still haven't been told whether I will receive my cashback. My request has been under review for over 45 days now, and there's still no clear answer. This experience has been extremely frustrating

Cannon Pixma TS 3450 -Do Not Buy

Cannon Pixma TS 3450 bought through Amazon

I have bought two of these printers during the last few months . 5 weeks ago , one would not link wirelessly. 2 hours on phone to Cannon support did not fix it and they agreed to receive in back for repair. We were told it was irreparable and they would send another. None has arrived and today we have been advised that we have to wait for another 2 weeks

The second machine stopped working 2 weeks ago with the same problem. I purchased a link wire which has enabled us to limp along whilst waiting for the first to come back--- but it is a very long time

Two machines breaking down; no proper support -- Avoid

Dreadful product

Ordered printer TS3355 and found it so hard to use. Unable to connect with app and then printer stopped printing pdf. I’ve had many HP products without these problems.

A disastrous purchase, never again canon

I echo other dissatisfied customers, very complex to set up, and once working repeatedly generates error messages which are complex to resolve. Mostly these relate to mismatched paper size on the printer compared with the document but we only use one paper size and the printer seems to reset itself to something different. I will never buy canon again, it's going in the bin.

Canon Worst Name In Electronics

Canon Sucks! In fact, as soon as i pulled up reviews and saw 81% give Canon 1 star, i now know its not me! I purchased a printer, all in one scanner and it will not connect to laptop so i cant print, scan, nothing. I have NEVER seen a printer not easily connect to a laptop until i bought a Canon. All other models have simply download files needed, connect printer to laptop and they work, they must make junk! Then i tried contacting them for help, useless, they tell me to open my account for assistance, but i dont have an account because i purchased this item used. It shows in the hundreds new, which is why i purchased used, and it was a waste of time and money. Returning it tomorrow since they dont want to simply give assistance. I will NEVER buy Canon again!

Canon service is a disgrace.

So, this is two fold. I have purchased a 35mm f1.8 under the cash back offer and received nothing back in the way of a reimbursement from Canon. This seems to be some sort of scam that Canon UK are running.

Secondly I sent my R6 for repair under warranty and they are now trying to charge me for an unrelated repair stating that the camera has been dropped. It hasn’t. I am now at the point as a professional photographer looking to buy a replacement body.

Any communication is met with a wall of meaningless words and they seem to spend more on call handlers than they do decision makers and technicians. Don’t try to speak to anyone higher up the food chain at Canon. I don’t think they really exist. They told me to call SanDisk as the camera is chewing up cards and SanDisk said it wasn’t their cards, but in reality they already knew that. My advice is don’t buy Canon as if it goes wrong you are left in the lurch.

A once great company and camera brand.

genuinely cannot believe I'm writing…

genuinely cannot believe I'm writing this about Canon - a supposed, reputable high end company. I placed an order for a camera and it was cancelled by Canon. no reason was given why so i contacted them. I was told there were discrepancies in the personal details given, so I said okay I'd place a new order and make sure everything was detailed accurately down to the tee. I then got another cancellation notification for which I had to call them up yet again. The support agents were unbelievably underwhelming, carelessly and monotonously reading off a a script with not the slight inclination to actually help with a solution. They simply gave the same reason saying there were discrepancies in the details given but for security reasons, can't divulge further. The best advice they came up with was 'we advise not to make the same order again for a while'. !!!!!!!!!!????! What??? Then pressed for a Complaints department which the agent was reluctant to give and i also asked for a manager for which they said there was no contact possible. I'm actually stunned and in shock at the shambles of service - what on earth is going on with them. Still have no solution to my issue.

bought a refurbished camera which…

bought a refurbished camera which wasn't refurbished.

what really bothers me is that I am having to chase them to try and get them to deal with the return. one week later and no one has even agreed that I can return the faulty camera.

EDIT- I've now passed the details to my credit card company to deal with as Canon are refusing to provide me with a form to return the camera.

Edit - Canon got in touch as soon as I told them I was raising a claim through my credit card company and agreed the return. It is now one month later and I still have not had a refund.

Canon cashbask lens is a SCAM

Canon cashbask lens is a SCAM,
when purchasing the big purple label is stating SAVE £ 300 AT CHECKOUT + £ 200 CASHBACK ON THIS LENS, however the small letters make impossible to anyone claim a cash back.
This advertise aim to misled customers. Not happy.
I purchased Canon RF 70-200mm F4L IS USM Lens, quite expensive lens, and I was counting on the cash back.
Canon should be decent and remove this banner because can lead a lot of customer, in good faith, to place orders expecting to receive a cash back.

The Canon cashback scheme designed to not deliver

The Canon cashback scheme appears to be a scam, or set up so that it is impossible to claim. I bought a camera and lens kit, plus an extra lens. I made a claim for the second lens which was acknowledged but no payment made to me. Every time I try to log on I have to create a new password as it won't accept the previous one. And when I do manage to log on and make a query, the response is that the camera/lens package is not claimable - I never have tried to claim for that, just the extra lens. So this scheme does not work

Purchased an r6mk2 camera and 100-400…

Purchased an r6mk2 camera and 100-400 rf lens before christmas on their double cashback offer. Registered the camera but had trouble with the lens registration. Finally managed to register them both using another email only to find out now after emails back and forth to the company that the lens was registered on an August cashback claim! The fact they ask for copies of receipts which I purchased in December they now refuse to do anything 6 months later as the application date was back in February. Disgusted with their treatment. They take so long to respond to emails and don't help look into the query I have lost money. I purchased direct from them too. Suggest go to a different camera company if you can I certainly will be despite years of being a loyal customer to Canon

scammer and waste of time

Canon has taken 6k from me and then cancelled my order. i then called them and they said it was an issue from the bank but when i called the bank they said that it was an issue with canon themself and there was no reason to cancel my order. this has happened 4 times now on multiple different accounts. why put the camera on sale to tempt buyers, take my money and hold it from me unable to use for over a week on a couple of occasions !!! unacceptable behaviour from a big company like them. have read multiple different reviews and all are saying the same. DO NOT BUY FROM CANON!! waste of time, money and effort.

Canon printers and their built-in obsolescence

A tiny component makes my Canon TS3100 printer/scanner unusable.
The waste toner pad gives the warning error P07 when it becomes full. The Canon solution is to charge £55.20 to replace it. (The printer cost £40.00). If you don't want to replace it, their advice is to throw the printer away. They offer a 20% voucher against the purchase of a much more expensive printer.

Unfit for purpose, bad recommendation, misleading.

I initially contacted Canon directly about purchasing a camera specifically for filming 4K video content, and they recommended the EOS R6 as an "ideal" solution for my needs.

I purchased this and have been using it for the last year, mostly for photography and shooting short-form video content. However, I noticed that the camera regularly overheats and shuts down around the 20-minute mark. This wasn't a huge issue initially as I simply waited for it to cool down before re-shooting, but of course this became problematic when losing valuable takes and content and my patience began to wear thin.

I had a look online to see if others had experienced this and found literally hundreds of reports with everyone having exactly the same issue. The product is advertised clearly as being suitable for shooting 4K video content, but NOWHERE on Canons website or in the manual does it suggest that the camera will overheat in 20 minutes and shut down until it cools. Canon discontinued this model right after I purchased it and superseded it with a MKII model, which funnily enough addresses this precise issue, which tells me they knew the R6 wasn't fit for purpose.

Given that this was recommended to me by Canon directly to meet this specific need, I wasn't entirely happy and decided to contact them to ask if there was anything that could be done. I appreciate I had the camera for a year already, so i wasn't looking for a refund, but perhaps a reasonable deal on an upgrade so I could look to part exchange or sell this camera.

Canon say they don't offer exchanges and told me that the overheating issue was mentioned on page 292 of the manual, as if I would go looking for this issue after one of their own staff recommended it to me specifically for this purpose! I note here, that the manual does NOT say it will shutdown mid-take; it just suggests that the camera will get hot (without specifying a time period) and to turn it off to let it cool down.

Canon eventually offered me a 20% discount voucher on my next purchase, which I felt was reasonable and accepted it.

However, upon receiving the voucher, it came with the caveat that "Please note special discount vouchers are time limited and cannot be used along with other offers and some models may be excluded." In truth, all but one model of camera were excluded from this voucher offer, leaving me with no meaningful choice or upgrade path and essentially showing me the door.

I'm now buying a £6,000 Sony camera that will shoot 4K for 13 hours straight without overheating and I will never shop with Canon again.
