Canstar provided a lot of information about travel insurance options, which were systematically recorded and in one place. This was a great time saver. It also provided a sort of check list for things to look for in travel insurance.

There are so many comparison sites…
There are so many comparison sites out there but you have to leave your number knowing someone is going to call you. I like to take my time and with Canstar, I was able to take my time and read all the recommendations given. I appreciated I was able to see their criteria on why they based their decision all without being rushed by a phone call and maybe being talked into something I may not really want. I didn’t take the cheapest travel insurance but rather purchased the one that fitted the best for me. I felt more in control of my decision by using Canstar. I also trust their processes which is a huge plus in my book.
