Do not buy smart coolers from Cantaloupe
It took over a week just to process my payment — nearly costing me my location agreement before the Smart cooler even shipped. (Sales Order #SO64137)
The machine arrived with a hand-sized patch of missing paint on the customer-facing side. Acknowledged. Never resolved.
No setup instructions came with the unit. Had to spend weeks of back and forth texting having to extract every detail manually. No guide, training, resources whatsoever.
One selection has never worked. The weight sensor fails after multiple recalibrations — dead revenue from day one.
Worst of all: the machine stopped selling for days with zero alert. No alarm. No notification. We only found out when I went onsite and could not complete a purchase for myself. The AI monitoring that justifies double the price of a traditional machine — and high monthly fees — said nothing.
Nearly a month in. Requesting a full refund and return. Buyer beware.
