I was part of the second, full time cohort, and I couldn't recommend this high enough!

The course itself was 16 weeks, 5 hours a day, Monday to Friday. There is also a part time option for people who work through the day, lasting 26 weeks. The team learning was invaluable, as hearing other people's opinions can help understand concepts I was surely struggling with, I dont think I would have passed if left on my own!
The support offered in my job search was very good, the careers coach would have weekly catch-ups, helped me write my CV, and also gave me mock interviews.
The subjects looked at a wide range of domains in the cyber industry, with guest speakers who specialise in the relevant weeks topics. We also had weekly meetings with a mentor who worked in the industry.
In around 20 weeks, I went from having zero experience in this industry (I worked in a mma gym!) To landing my first role as a SOC analyst, which I have held for less than 2 years, and I am about to move to the incident response team, not bad for someone who used to cuddle for a living!

The support still offered is also very good, with weekly catch-ups, as well as access to other learners, both past and present.

The certs offered were valuable to my employer when I applied, but what they were most interested in was the hands-on approach to learning that Capslock offered. We now have 6 people from Capslock on the team!

I recently had the incredible opportunity to embark on a life-changing journey with the Capslocks Cybersecurity Bootcamp, and I can't express enough how transformative this experience has been for me. As a recent former teacher with no prior cybersecurity background, I can confidently say that Capslocks has not only equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in cybersecurity but has also instilled a newfound confidence in my abilities.

However, the cost associated with this course can be a substantial financial commitment, and potential students should weigh their options thoughtfully. I have no regrets about the cost because I now have a cybersecurity job and have begun paying back the loan.

If you are transitioning from any career, I wholeheartedly recommend the Capslocks Cybersecurity Bootcamp. Thanks to this program, I have stepped into the exciting world of cybersecurity with the confidence and skills needed to thrive.

I gotta say, steer clear of this course, folks. I was just casually checking out their webpage, you know, to get some info about what they offer. But oh boy, the trouble I went through to hunt down their refund policy was unreal. It's like they've hidden it on purpose, probably because it's a total disaster.

I practically turned into an internet detective, spending way too many hours trying to unearth any trace of their refund policy. And guess what? It's nowhere to be found on their fancy website. Seriously, what kind of reputable place doesn't have their refund policy upfront and center?

After what felt like an eternity of scrolling and searching, I stumbled upon a snapshot of a contract that someone had generously shared. And let me tell you, my jaw hit the floor when I read it. Brace yourselves for this bombshell: if you have the audacity to start the course and then have a change of heart, even after just one single day, they have the nerve to snatch 50% of your hard-earned cash. Yep, you heard me right. Half your money down the drain for daring to have second thoughts.

Honestly, this whole ordeal reeked of shadiness to me. I'm no fool, so I quickly decided that this was a highway robbery I wouldn't be a part of. Save yourself the headache and find a place that doesn't treat your wallet like their personal piggy bank.

As a forty-something year old looking to change careers at the height of the pandemic, CAPSLOCK literally changed and saved my life. I was coming from the music industry which had been ravaged by lockdowns and made supporting myself and my family nigh on impossible. I made the decision to move into the cyber security industry and researched a number of bootcamp courses that offered the world along with a hefty fee (£10k+++) and no guarantees that anything would come from it. Enter CAPSLOCK with a shared income agreement that meant the course did not need to be paid for until I was earning from my new career and had been built by university accredited individuals. With nothing to lose, but everything to gain, I signed up and can honestly say it is the best decision I have ever made. No doubt, the course is intense and covers a lot of subject matter - but it is done in an engaging way that elevates personal knowledge and promotes collaboration across peer groups. 2 years on from starting the course, I am now a Senior Consultant with a top London firm and can genuinely see a pathway to a long and fruitful career, all thanks to the wonderful folks at CAPSLOCK. If you are looking to change careers then look no further. It's not easy, but nothing in life is and the potential long term gains are well worth the short term pain!

I was part of the very first cohort at Capslock. This meant both student and faculty were taking a risk on each other.

I found the team based learning very valuable to get some foundational understanding of the business and functions of various roles and areas of the industry.

With our cohort being the first, the times to sit some of our external examinations (Security+ and one other) we had completed the course itself before we were able to sit the examinations. This may well have been improved since but was a drawback.

I think it's important for any potential student with Capslock to understand that what you are provided with is an introduction to a particular area rather than verbatim instruction into a specific role. You get out what you put in.

Where I feel Capslock could (and may have already) improve with the learning experience would be to give students more direct experience working in virtual environments with some of the more common tools that almost everyone in the industry is expected to have an understanding of: e.g. Defender/Azure, AWS, etc. And to entirely lose focus on Linux. I'm now 2 years into the industry and have never heard or been asked about competency in this space.

Overall I do recommend that personal friends of mine who are looking for a career change should look at Capslock, with the caveat that it isn't a shortcut to a massive salary, hard work is required to land your first role, but the support is excellent.

For me, CAPSLOCK was the perfect match, I was looking for skills, and they had plenty of those to teach us. I understand this alert pace is hard for some people, but it is the only way to achieve the industry-ready skills in a such short amount of time. Team work and tasks were simulating an actual work environment, and each day was different. Now, if you want a quick pill to get all knowledge over-night, CAPSLOCK is not that. And yes, they only touch on so many areas of Cyber, but they go in enough depth to get you into an interview, and make sure you pass. Your job (and they say that) is to do the additional reading, pass the certifications and you are on your way to success. There are so many people I know that found jobs straight after, and some even during the course, that I can say with confidence: TRUST THE PROCESS! Also, the payment plan is kind of no-brainer as if you don't get paid more, you don't owe anything to anyone. All that was worth if for me, and I've met a bunch of extraordinary people along the way, so I can truly say I LOVE CAPSLOCK.

This course has been a transformative experience for both me and my family. Despite running my own wedding business for over a decade without any background in cybersecurity, my career prospects have drastically improved. The opportunities that opened up after completing the CAPSLOCK course have propelled my working life to new heights. As a result, I've recently secured my first position, having received two offers from well-established companies of varying sizes.

A great training course to take to learn the foundations of cyber, and they also provide support with landing a job in the field. The staff are all respectful, caring, and knowledgable during the course, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment to work in.

This was a life changing course for both myself and my family. My working life and career prospects have gone through the roof directly due to the opportunities opened up by completing the CAPSLOCK course.

Genuinely life changing - I started CAPSLOCK with no prior Cyber Security or IT experience and within 5 months (4 months full time course plus 2 weeks until I landed my job) - I went from a manual labouring job to working at an incredible (very reputable) company in the Cyber Security team (having increased my salary by about 85%). Pre CAPSLOCK I wouldn't have believed I could be where I am today. Having been to university in the past it's completely different to traditional eduction which is where the course really brings its value. The work mimics real world problems where you work in teams to address the security issues of a company. The feedback from my job interview assured me that my answers were so far above anyone else's (including working professionals with experience and people with Information Security degrees) demonstrating how good their approach is. My answers were just things I had drawn from exercises on the course. This is all before getting on to the level of support the careers team give you (CV analysis, mock interviews, networking workshops, guest speakers etc etc) which was arguably the most valuable part for me because of how important it is. Landing my job was as much down to the careers support as the course itself which is not something you would get from trying to learn the material on your own. Without CAPSLOCK my current job, and future prospects, would not have been possible which made it worth every penny. It took a lot of hard work, it was stressful at times but was incredibly rewarding. If you're serious about a career change do this course.

Capslock gave me more opportunity than my computer science degree ever could.

To put it simply the course did exactly what it said on the tin and it helped me get a job for a really good company. (I had a job offer the day after I finished the course).

To add some context I worked in sales before, no cyber/tech experience so this was effectively starting from scratch for me.

It was an intense bootcamp focused on creating real world examples that you will come across if/when you get a proper job. After now working properly for 6 months I can confirm it really helps prepare you for what you will potentially face.

Please bear in mind there was ALOT of hard work involved - some of the areas covered in the course take some time to understand, working in a team can be difficult at times as you are all new to the field and also applying for jobs is a full time job in itself. So don't think this will be easy task.

The staff where very patient with everyone, taking time to explain any parts that people didn't understand and clarifying it for them, the course was comprehensive and covered the whole spectrum of cyber security in a fun and educational way.highly recommend

This is an exceptional course. Not only does it empower you with knowledge but the course provides a great support in all senses. The careers support was the most outstanding. The people are approachable and very supportive. It is the best thing I have done for years. I want to take an opportunity to the whole Capslock family for all I have gained from them.

I joined the CAPSLOCK bootcamp in November 2022 because I had a burning desire to become part of the ever growing cyber security community.

My brother in law had nothing but praise for the owners, tutors and how the part time and full time cohorts would prepare me for a life in cyber. Another draw for me was the "CAPSLOCK" name, which is widely recognised within the cybersecurity industry & is highly respected.

The camp ran for 16 weeks covering various Cyber and Information security areas of expertise. They were Tutor-led, online with a cohort of students. You are put into a team of approximately 4 to 6 people and engage within team based learning, involving problem based scenarios that prepare you for real life events.

Taking this bootcamp is a no brainer for people looking to get into Cyber.
You can come from any industry or background and you will leave the course with qualifications, recruitment support, industry mentors and a great network of people.

YOU learn more if you are prepared to trust the process and put in the effort, breaking down your own barriers along the way.
