I’ve never left a review anywhere in my life but the customer service experience with Caraa has been awful. I’m resorting to a review because I cannot get one more passive aggressive, half effort email that ends in “kindly.” I had a package that I ordered through them and was delivered by Amazon. I get multiple deliveries a month from Amazon and I’ve had very minimal issues but all of them have been resolved when they arise. My package never showed up. I live above two businesses and both are in the office all day during the week and neither had seen anything. After over two months of me reaching out and getting no updates unless reaching out again they sent “proof” it had been delivered. The proof is a map with an Amazon logo across my address as well as the addresses on either side of me.

I’ve been using one of their products daily since 2023 and get a lot of compliments on it so I’ve sent them a lot of business. I’m surprised at how bad their reviews are but grateful to know now. I’ve already replaced my daily bag and I won’t give them any more business.

I purchased a travel bag from Caraa 3…

I purchased a travel bag from Caraa 3 weeks ago and it never arrived. Tried to contact the company many times and finally had a response about 2 weeks later. They said the delivery carrier left the item on the gate. They are responsible to deliver the items to a safe location where no one else could access and take the item not just to leave it somewhere where passers by could take the parcel. They said they cannot replace or refund the item and so I paid $425 for something I did not receive. This is unethical, it is no fault of the customer that the delivery they chose let them down by not delivering. They have to take it up with the delivery company and replace or refund immediately. But they do not. I would not recommend purchasing from them in case you get into a situation where your parcel just gets left on the gate or sidewalk when you are not home to receive. This company is not based in the US as well so purchasing from them and getting your money back is a big risk. They do not care to ensure they deliver and their customers receive the item they paid for. They take your money and don't deliver. Be careful when purchasing. I do not recommend.

Disappointing Experience with Caraa Stratus Travel Backpack
Not Worth the High Price
I purchased the Caraa Stratus Travel Backpack, size large in gold, in September 2024, fully expecting a product that would live up to its $200 price tag and the reputation of Caraa as a high-end brand. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing.
After only three trips, the material began to tear—a disheartening outcome for a product touted as being made with the "highest quality materials and care." One would expect a backpack at this price point to offer durability and reliability. Instead, it has proven to be fragile and incapable of holding up to even light use.
Adding insult to injury was the poor customer service I received when attempting to address the issue. Caraa refused to provide any assistance, claiming that the damage was outside of their warranty policy.
This experience reflects a glaring disconnect between the premium pricing of Caraa products and their actual quality and customer service. It is unacceptable for a $200 backpack to fail so quickly, and equally unacceptable for the company to deny responsibility and support. For a brand that markets itself as high-end, Caraa has failed to deliver either a high-quality product or high-quality customer care.
This purchase was a regrettable waste of money, and I will not be returning to Caraa for future purchases.

Refund Took Too Long

The tote bag was bulky and didn't work for me so I returned it. Unfortunately it took almost an entire month to get the refund. I tried calling but their number had been disconnected. Email also took several days to get a response. I

Terrible customer service, poor quality bag

Bought the large diaper bag. Bag is nice, but stitching on top handle ripped after a month of use (not aggressive use, just normal). For the price, I would expect a much higher quality. They do not answer any emails even after multiple follow ups. Stay clear of them.

Poor Quality and Poor Customer Service

Poor quality and poor customer service.
The bag strap's stitching was pulling apart and needed to be restitched (less than 8 months of use). Caraa said they would repair with 2 week turnaround time. Now they say it will take 2 months! Which is no guarantee that it will be done within the new projected timeline.
They will not offer a temporary bag and they only have email for customer service. which is 1-5 business day turnaround time. If you are a parent and want something that works, can handle being moved around the car, stroller, and shoulder, don't buy this bag. The price does not give you assurances that this bag will be with you.

Steer clear

Steer clear. I’ve had one of their bags for two months and the material is already starting to rip around the top front zipper. I have not used this bag much at all and they are not standing by their product, saying it is normal wear and tear. They even suggested I go to a cobbler. I’ve spend a lot of money on their products recently and will be returning them. They are way too expensive to be prematurely falling apart and without a resolution. Find a better brand.

They won’t allow my review on their website or Facebook. Unreal.

I'll leave my negative review here since the company won't post it on the website. The stitching came undone on the large interior pocket of my small Cumulus bag. Two thirds of the pocket is still attached which makes finding things in my bag really difficult. Unacceptable at this price point.

So expensive for a bag so cheap.

The quality of the diaper bag I got is terrible. I can’t believe I was taken by the bs reviews. I’m so mad at myself for not checking a non-manufacturer website. For over 300 dollars (!!!) I expected top line and instead what I got, I wouldn’t pay more than 20 dollars for. The fabric is cheap and construction is flimsy. Poor construction without reinforced straps is a really bad idea for a diaper bag that generally needs to be a workhorse. I’m not sure what to do with this as I’ve read that returning products is challenging. I’m just so embarrassed I was taken in by marketing.

Bags are of terrible quality. They are definitely NOT water resistant. All three sides of the backpack are water stained and it was only the third time I used it. Reviews on the site are filtered. These bags are overpriced overhyped trash.

Caraa bags are low quality

REAL CUSTOMER. Bag I purchased for my girlfriend as gift is bad quality. It started falling apart within the first few weeks of use. The fake leather finish on the handle is flaking off. Very disappointing that the bag is so low quality.

Great products but if anything goes wrong good luck getting ahold of them, you may as well just dispute with your bank since they’ll never resolve it.

Their customer service is a joke

Their customer service is a joke. I’ve been dealing with a women named Jessica who is a literal idiot. I asked for a simple task of changing the return email from a gifter to mine, therefore I can return the gifted item for a store credit and the gifter not know about it. After a ton of back and forth Jessica assured me the email was changed (even tho I saw on the website it wasn’t) I returned the item and low and behold the gifter emailed me asking why I was returning the item.

This is also the second item I got and returned from Caraa for a loss because of return shipping label. I’ve never buy products from them again. MZ Wallace is better quality and way better service.

Only real review to look at tbh..

REAL customer. I love my studio bag, have had it since 2017 and it still gets used to commute in Manhattan. The diaper bag is honestly so functional and cute. I don't understand the reviews. I think people see the word "luxury" and don't understand that CARAA is not TUMI or PRADA. Its made for the active person who enjoys to still appear put together and not break the bank. It is a bag made to be stylish and functional but be at a price point that is for all for its quality. And the people who complain about the masks and shipping delays clearly don't understand what has been going on in America the past 2 years. I'm shocked.

Deleted my comment asking for help after not responding for weeks

I ordered on 11/27 off of instagrams shopping program that they have now… on Instagram it stated that it would ship within 2 days and arrive early December. A week later, now it’s December, I haven’t received any shipping notification. I reached out to them via the Instagram help portal 4 times and no response. I DMed them and no response. 2 weeks later I finally commented on their post just asking for assistance on my order… they LIKED then DELETED my comment. I commended again for it to be deleted and they responded to my DM saying I was emailing the wrong email..? I never used a specific email, I used the insta portal meaning that is what they have up on Instagram. I emailed the “correct” email then someone named Jessica, without any apology or explanation to why no one was willing to help me, just sent one message saying “it doesn’t ship until Jan 3 as stated on our collections and product part on our website”. I explained to them that that’s not what it said on the Instagram profile they have and that it might be misleading… their response was “please let us know if you would like to cancel your order”.
In the end I just ended up canceling it since I was so sketched out and frustrated.

I also wand to mention that the name of the company holder that charged my account was not CARAA it was a traditional Chinese name. I’m not sure why I’m getting money pulled from a person instead of a official company account but I thought I should mention that.

Overall, I’m just sad I waited so long for this just for nothing to happen. Now I have to think of a whole other Christmas present with only a couple days left.
Would not recommend ordering from them.

I bought a bag on here, it’s okay, not the best quality for what I paid. The nylon snags easy and it probably won’t last long. I wrote a review stating the quality and the website never posted the review. I also contacted consumer support and they didn’t comment on the missing review. I wrote another twice another review and still, none posted. So my take away is, ALL the reviews are fixed and they don’t post real reviews. Good stuff; right? Honest company should post all reviews from people who actually purchase and not only 5 star reviews. Very dishonest.

Bought masks for my child

Bought masks for my child. The original "to be sent out before or on" date wast Sept. 30. Checked several times just to make sure as this was going to be mandated by her school. Sept. 30 came and went and I had no updates. I rechecked the date onsite and it now changed to Oct. 12. Finally received the late items and inspected them. The sewing looked very poor, not tight and easily became loose. Also the sizes were not all the same. Each mask was "off" here and there. The fit is not very good. I am a certified emergency nurse and been dealing with covid and this pandemic in the emergency department since day 1. If I fit the metal nose piece to my child and attempt to pull the material down under chin as it should be that would be great. Well unless your child does not move thier face, mouth, jaw it would stay in place. As soon as my daughter starts to talk the top piece falls below her noise. She is 3 and is small for her age so this would not work for many 2-3 yo or older. Also if you hold any mask up to a light bulb, you shouldn't be able to see through it. Well with these you can. With too thin of material, is increasing the chances of particles to run through it. Also, there are pleats on basic procedural masks to surgical masks for a reason. There are also to be faced a specific way to aid in protection. These had pleats facing up and facing down. These are not great quality, nor provide a good secure fit to protect your children. Better masks are out there. It's just so time consuming to try and test and inspect each type when you needed them like months ago.
