Great info. Gave us a good starting point for negotiating.
The fact that CarCostCanada gave us a referral to a dealer quite far away seemed frustrating at first, but it enabled us to make an even better deal at our local dealer!

Pricing available on dealer sites only go as far as the MSRP which is available to everyone. CarCostCanada provides it's members with access to the dealer cost (what the dealer paid for the vehicle) to contribute to getting a good deal at the best price possible on a brand new vehicle. I looked up your account history and we noticed that you have not built any reports, which is the only way that you are able to view the invoice price. It's great to get a good price for a car, however, it is not possible to get a complete configuration of the car we would like.
Per say, Honda Passport, unable to specify Towing kit for 5000 lbs.

In the “How it Works” portion of our website, we state “One of our hand-selected professional dealerships will provide you with the Best Price and a wonderful buying experience. You may receive a free dealer referral from one of CarCostCanada’s handpicked professional new car dealership network – they will assist you with factory rebate and incentive explanations”. Although the dealer referral feature is beneficial, we do understand that there are also members who would rather make initial dealer contact on their own. Was expecting to see actual invoice prices, but they weren't accurate at all. I guess most people who have used the service don't have any experience in the automotive industry. The CCC app is really just a Lead Generator, which was disappointing.

Excellent information but manufacturers are changing ways they compensate a dealer so just having invoice pricing is no longer sufficient to understand a dealers actual cost per vehicle. Marketing funds rebates and sales target attainment bonuses etc need to be disclosed
