Website is easy to use and cost effective. Gives full detailed spec of any car and any trim and easy to print and better than car company website. Good to have cost report from this company before you start negotiating. Also provides suggested dealers near home.

Great Customer Service
Called CCC after printing out a report, because I had some questions, and received amazing help and my questions were answered in minutes. Really great company that helps you find the best price for your car.

Not worth my time
Not a simple process to find out how much you save by using Carcost. Also, you cannot calculate monthly lease rates. After calling customer service , I learned what the discount was , which was only $1800. The dealer had no issue discounting higher than this amount.

All of our lease and finance rates are updated on a monthly basis (or prior if necessary). If you were able to work up an even better deal than what was provided in your report, that is wonderful news. We are always happy to hear that a member was able to get an even better price, but our reports are there to provide a base price so that you know what your vehicle price should be in and around and what you should be saving. Our intentions are ALWAYS to get our members to save on their new vehicle purchase, and that's what took place here!

CarCostCanada’s prime objective has always been to bring new car buyers and dealers closer together. We fulfill that mandate by eliminating most of the uncertainty that consumers feel about the price they should pay for the new vehicle that they have chosen.
Knowing the dealer cost and the full spectrum of all available incentives, puts the purchaser and the dealer on the same page with respect to price. This allows the consumer to focus on their vehicle selection instead of being worried about the quality of their “deal”.
Our members are referred to a “Recommended Dealer” because all new vehicles in Canada are sold and delivered by a dealer. Working with a dealer is part of the purchase process and we believe that our information and referral (to the dealer) are the foundation on which a trusting relationship is built.
We are very clear that our service includes a dealer referral. This point is mentioned on the following web pages; the start page, the Sign Up Page, the FAQ page, the How it Works page, the Member Benefits page and our Privacy Policy.

Each and every invoice price displayed in our reports is the actual dealer cost of the vehicle. The reason for giving our members access to this information is so that they have a 100% accurate starting point to work with. Knowing what the dealer has paid for the vehicle is always helpful whether they are able to offer you something better, or if you are offered the price in your report. Arming our members with all of the best shopping tools possible is one of our main top priorities and one of the many reasons why we provide our members with this information. Regardless, a great deal is a great deal and we are ALWAYS ecstatic to hear when a member is able to get an even better or lower price than what is listed in our report!

Didn't meet my expectation
I got a price report on a new Acura RDX model. When I clicked on the Buy Now button, I realized there is a $99 fee to be referred to a dealer, which was not mentioned anywhere in the website (at least I haven't seen it before). However, the price that was offered in the email was a wide range that was not much lower than MSRP. The lowest price that I could get was not giving me even the average discount reported on the website. So I didn't take the fee-based service, and I just negotiated my own price with a dealer, and I was able to get a very good discount about 2% above the dealer's invoice price.

Here at CarCostCanada, to sign up and get your TWO (2) price reports is absolutely FREE. Once those two reports are used, our members will then be asked to upgrade to our Expert membership which is $30.00. At that point you will get 5 additional invoice reports to price and build for 5 more vehicles but, there is no charge for the two initial reports nor is there a charge to receive a recommended dealer. A dealer referral is based on your postal code. Our Dealer Referral service is provided to those members who have a Recommended Dealer (a dealer that takes part in the CarCostCanada program) within 100 KM of their location. With that being said, members who do not receive a Recommended Dealer in their report are offered the "BuyNow" option at $99.00. This is a service request that many of our members take advantage of as they may not have a Recommended Dealer nearby. You are not obligated to taking part in the "BuyNow" Program. One of our Development Specialists will then locate and aim to get the BEST possible price on behalf of the member. The price range provided is to assure our members that we will do our best to get you a final price within that range. There are members who get the "BuyNow" option and do not want to take part. They simply reach out to us by telephone, email or live chat to ask if we can provided them with a Recommended Dealer that they can visit and we are always happy to do so. Get the car you want plus updgrades that fit your budget!
Knowing what the dealer paid helped us to “ haggle” for our new car. Was able to add accesories pkg wanted as was now optainable in the budget. Love that they recommend a dealer to see.in this case we did not need to see him to get the price we wanted. Everyone in our family uses them.

Smooth Purchasing Experience
The free “pro membership” included 2 CCC Reports so I was able to compare Dealer Invoice Price Reports on my two preferred vehicles before visiting the dealers. Within an hour of receiving the reports by email, I was contacted by sales reps at a local dealer.
The markup between Dealer Cost and MSRP was about 8.2% on my preferred vehicle. The CCC report and "membership price" served as an excellent starting report for negotiations and my final purchase price was about 1.2% over Dealer Invoice Price. The dealer will make some money on my trade-in which is fair and it was the month-end so they were motivated to make a sale.
One of the smoothest purchasing experiences I’ve ever had and the first time I don’t feel I overpaid.
