I did the training at careerist for software QA engineer. I have completed it and I am good at what I learned. However, finding a job has been the hardest part. I have applied a lot and it’s been 10 months already, and not one call for interview. So I am not too happy about this because I spent good amount of money for this training.

Careerist supports the student from start to finish. You just have to stay focussed, be self motivated, keep your end goal in mind. Careerist offers a good learning pace and curriculum in a short period of time, you will pass your coarse successfully if you are willing to commit the time to follow through, learning, and studying.

The curriculum was great. Anyone who is learning to be QA should defiantly look into Careerist. I am still in the job search. However, the positive thing you can take away from the program is the relationship your able to develop with your mentors and peers, while finding the job. That’s why I give careerist 5 star.

This company really helped me learn so much in such little time and has helped me throughout my journey. Their customer support is top notch and help with any questions. I highly recommend this course to any interested working in Tech!

Working with the folks at Careerist was great! The instructors are very knowledgeable, and working professionals in the field we're studying in! I am currently in the process of sending out resumes with the career coach advising. Both Aruzhan and Viktor have been amazing on prepping me for this portion.

Careerist has allowed me to seamlessly change careers while experiencing a significant pay increase. Breaking into IT can be tough but with all the valuable courses, information, and guidance that Careerist gives its students it makes the overall transition that much smoother. Careerist has great options to pay for courses and after course completion there are also very informative mini courses and alternative career paths to check out. There is definitely a job in tech out there for everyone and Careerist has your back!

So far the experience has been great! The Mentors are probably the best part of careerist! I also love the internship and the hands on approach.

My only advice is be patient and do what your mentors ask of you.

I completed the QA Manual course at Careerist in 2021 and I must say it has been a transformative experience. And I will go back to review all the study material, each time helps me to understand more. I really liked my instructors and learned so much about Agile, SDLC and Software Quality Assurance to give me that good foundation. Followed by projects to apply what we learned. Since graduating I have a supportive career coach and that has been invaluable.

My first introduction to QA IT work. I've honestly learned a lot from this company on their teachings and guidance that I received and still receive annual calls from my mentor which to me show a big difference then other company's.

If you're looking to get into IT field with no experience then Careerist is the way to go.

I was assigned with a wonderful mentor who helped me on all stages of job search.
I knew that It would be a challenging process - to find a job in IT, especially now that the market is slow.
So my mentor spent as much time with me as I needed on personal calls, email communication, etc. She helped me with CV and cover letter, guided me through job application process and even worked as my therapist a bit when I was nervous during interviews :D
We had mock calls, tech calls and LI page review - which helped me a lot in preparing for the hiring process stages, and let's be honest - infused me with healthy self-confidence :D

I appreciate everything I got from Careerist, from the lectures and courses, to internship, to mentorship, to customer support – you are an amazing team doing some awesome job!

Big part way I decided to go with careerist was a possibility of internship and work with career coach, not just learn about qa. They made it possible to study, practice and search for job while keeping the full time job. Thanks to internship I was able to practice my skills and learn the programs needed for the job. My journey with my coach started pretty rough, but quickly I got assigned a new one which made my way through the job search easier by motivating me and helping getting ready for the actual interviews. In overall I'm happy with the course, teachers were always prepared and taught me a lot. I was able to land a job after 2 months of search, but that also included my hard work and being consistent. Definitely would recommend to someone who's ready to commit into the challenge of studying, working after hours and actively looking for a job daily.

I had been contemplating a career change for years and I finally made the move to do so this past year. Careerist has given me a chance to start a new chapter in my life. The program was flexible, even with a full time job I was able to finish the courses and internship within a span of five months. With the added benefit of having a personal career coach, I have been able to apply for jobs easily and confidently and am hopeful to land a new career soon.

Thanks to Careerist, I ventured into the tech field. Their program helped me gain all the knowledge I needed, the instructors were great, and my mentor was also very helpful, not only during my job search. I definitely recommend them. The only thing I would tell you is not to commit to an ISA (Income Share Agreement) because I believe you can find a job on your own. You don't need their JAS service.

Overall, Careerist was a great academy to help jumpstart my career in QA. The course was really fun and informative! The teachers were always great at explaining the material and lending a helping hand when needed. After finishing the course, the career coaching is phenomenal. Your coach is always checking in and giving great tips on how to better look and find jobs!

Hands down, my biggest obstacle in trying to upskill myself for career training was that I wasn't able to quit my full-time job to do a program, and I really didn't want to give up every free waking moment of the free time I had because burnout is real.
The fantastic thing about the careerist course is that it worked with my schedule. Classes were a couple of hours, a few evenings a week- homework was concise, meaningful, and had a direct impact on my skill building, and even the real-world external internship project works alongside family and a day job.
They put a lot of emphasis on the career coach relationship, and for good reason.
While you might be able to find resources to teach yourself how to write bug reports and test cases- there's so much more that Careerist does to get you that nuanced experience.
Every single contact you'll have with careerist from instructors to advisors is all about "getting you the job" and instructors will call your attention to the fine details that will set you apart as a candidate in every single class.

Really good experience with careerist. Liked the length of each lesson and the ability to review your past work and work on areas that you need to improve upon.
