A company that cares!
From the moment I reached out to Careline they were professional, courteous and prompt in replies and quotes. They were given a short turn around time and fit in with everything I requested. The quote was very reasonable. They were packing my mums belongings and taking them from Dublin to my home in London. The day came for packing and the team led by Tony were fast efficient and completely aware of the emotional issues for me as they were packing up my mums house after she'd had passed. The care they took with every single piece of china and furniture was fantastic. No request was too big or small. Tony left my mums chair for last so I could sit in it, in her house one last time. The kindness was immense. I had to change the delivery date in london a couple of times and they assisted without hesitation. Julie and Sinead were so easy to communicate with and never showed a moments impatience with all my changes. On the day of the delivery the staff were quick and efficient. Carefully and gently unloading everything. Unfortunately a manhole cover was broken by the weight of the truck. But within days the team was out to recheck my measurements as it turned out not to be a standard cover. They sourced a new one, may have even had it specially made and were back to fit it.
Thanks for a fantastic service from start to finish and special thanks to Julie, Sinead and Tony for their kindness and professionalism. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I do not recommend Careline Moving &…
I do not recommend Careline Moving & Storage for international removals.
I hired the company to handle my household move from the United Kingdom to Australia. The shipment took approximately four months to arrive, between January and May.
According to the contract, upon arrival in Australia, the team was supposed to unpack all of our household items and assemble the furniture, including our bed. However, none of these services were carried out.
In addition, some items were lost during transit, and several belongings arrived damaged. One of the biggest losses was a wardrobe with sliding glass doors that arrived with the glass shattered, making the wardrobe practically unusable.
We also purchased insurance for some of our belongings. However, the insurance process was disappointing. A sofa arrived with missing parts, and we were informed that additional fees would be required to proceed with certain insurance-related services, making the coverage of little practical value to us.
After delivery, we contacted Careline Moving & Storage to report that the unpacking and furniture assembly services included in our contract had not been provided. We were assured by a customer service representative that the matter would be investigated and resolved. Unfortunately, despite our follow-up communications, we never received an effective response or a satisfactory resolution.
Overall, my experience was very disappointing due to the lengthy delivery time, the failure to provide contracted services, the loss and damage of personal belongings, and the lack of adequate customer support when issues were raised.
For these reasons, I cannot recommend Careline Moving & Storage for international relocations. I would advise potential customers to carefully review the contract, clarify all insurance conditions, and obtain written confirmation of the services that will actually be provided upon delivery.
Do not recommend!
We hired Care line to move out of our rented house and put most of our things in storage in their Glanmire, Cork warehouse until our move to Spain. We requested that everything would be packed by the company except for the clothes and towels and linen. They misunderstood and then gave out about the time it took to pack everything. We paid extra for matress protectors, which were ripped by the time we recieve the matresses and they assured us all the furniture would be proctected by blankets. On a year later, we had another company collect our things from our crates in storage. 4 items were damaged, The insurance of nearly 30 euro we had paid every month didn't cover any of it as they only pay to fix things and you have to get back to them within 2 weeks of arrival of your items. They didn't give our removal men a packing list so they couldn't check if all the items were there and by the time they got to Spain, we realised there were 2 ladders and a big rug missing. They couln't find them for 2 weeks and then blamed our removal guy that he hadn't taken them. It cost us 500 euro to bring them over and we were given 250 euro towards cost with the words: "let bygones be bygones". The lads were hardworking but under severe time pressure but the damage I still find every day on my furniture is heartbreaking.
Brilliant movers
Brilliant movers: friendly, thorough, efficient, and reliable. Made a stressful house-moving experience so much better. Would recommend highly.
Avoid using the Irish side of the business
Moving on the UK side was amazing. It was horrible once our belongings landed in Ireland which was so disappointing. We are still finding damage after our goods were carelessly moved. It ended up costing more than the move to replace it all. They reached out for feedback and I was honest, but I heard nothing back despite a very lengthy explanation. I reached out to confirm someone had read my email and I think I had a response from the owners daughter, she replied to one part of my email and essentially blamed me for the negative experience and I never heard from anyone again.
Big shout out to Ingrida and her team…
Big shout out to Ingrida and her team for such a positive experience. Moving us from Burgundy in France to Ireland. Super people both at the packing up and delivery ends. Super friendly, efficient and helpful people who made what is a stressful time less so. Thank you !
Fabulous Service
Just had two Sofas delivered by Careline to Co. Clare. The two delivery guys were fab. Sofas brought into room, all packaging removed and taken away. Two very friendly professional guys. I'm only sorry I didn't get their names so I could include in this review.
Careline's service was excellent from start to finish
Careline provided consistently excellent service from start to finish for our move from Madeira to UK. The removal partner they chose in Madeira (Invictus) was clean, efficient and professional, and was a good reflection on Careline. Ven Mamic of Careline remained our primary point of contact and was there to answer all our questions/concerns throughout the process, which was very reassuring. All our items were experty packed/wrapped, however despite that, one item was slightly damaged. We sent photos and Careline immediately responded with genuine apologies and instructions as to how to claim for the damages. Our claim was processed rapidly and to our satisfaction. All in all, we had a very positive experience with Careline. By the way, I don't say this with no comparison, as my husband and I have moved both locally and internationally many times so we have ample experience of other moving companies. Careline compares very favourably
Damaged items
We moved from Edinburgh to Ireland in early June.
We engaged Careline to pack up our Scottish home and deliver to Ireland.
Packing went well -the guys came over from Belfast and wrapped and packed everything.
Two days later (as planned) a different crew delivered our stuff in Ireland.
Both crews were lovely and helpful.
Our large chest of drawers had the leg damaged anf our chiminea was smashed into several pieces.
The delivery crew took photos, emailed someone and assured us that Careline would take money off the bill. I think it was £80 to come off, 40 for each item, not a huge amount of money but a gesture.
Several emails inquiring about this have just gone into a black hole-no response.
It niggles as the rest of the experience was good but smacks of a company that once they have your money they aren't interested in any issues so I wouldn't use them again or recommend them as it's when there is a problem that you want to know you can be sure of good service, it's easy to be nice when it's all going well.
Really smooth and easy
Really smooth and easy, Ingrida was on the ball the whole time!
The moving team was on time and very helpful and nice, darrah, Ian and Michael, thanks! The prices were fair as well, we will definitely reuse them
I recently moved from Dublin to Madrid…
I recently moved from Dublin to Madrid with Careline. At first, I was a bit hesitant because I came across some negative reviews online. However, I noticed that other international relocation companies in Ireland had similar reviews. Although Careline wasn't the cheapest option, I decided to go with them. And in the end, I'm glad we chose Careline.
From the beginning, Aaron was very responsive on the phone, providing quick communication and prompt replies. We didn't have a final place to stay in Madrid yet, so Careline stored our belongings for a month and a half. As soon as we found our final accommodation and gave Aaron the delivery address, our belongings arrived in about a week and a half. That was pretty quick, especially considering there was a Bank Holiday in Spain.
We chose to pack our belongings ourselves instead of hiring packaging services. We ended up with 23 boxes, including a few marked as fragile. The Dublin crew who picked up our items was friendly and handled everything with care. The same goes for the crew in Madrid who delivered our belongings. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and the packaging looked well-maintained.
I definitely recommend Careline for moves from Dublin to Madrid.t
Terrible experience moving to Australi
Our experience with Careline directly was fantastic, however the moment our shipment arrived in Australia the experience rapidly went downhill. Their choice of partner reflects incredibly poorly on Careline, we’re now on week 20 on what was meant to be a 10-14 week process and we still have no end in sight. The company refuses to confirm a date and despite all our extensive planning we’re left with no furniture and no resolution on the horizon. I would not recommend Careline if moving from the UK to Australia.
From Ingride and David in the office to…
From Ingride and David in the office to the teams delivering our furniture everyone was brilliant. The communications throughout the process was really superb and a credit to their professionalism. We cannot praise them enough. Highly recommended.
Fantastic Company, recommend highly
Fantastic communication, excellent knowledge and help with moving my daughter's items to Ireland post Brexit, and all the intricacies of customs. Reassuring and kind throughout the whole process and incredibly efficient. Sarah and Louise at the UK office truly excellent. The guys who arrived to collect the items the same. This is my experience from the UK side but my daughter says the same for when the items were delivered to her. We were kept informed at all times, communication was faultless, we were informed of arrival times for pick up and delivery, when the items had cleared customs, and also had some timely prompts with regard to paperwork. The guys collecting and delivery the items gave headsup that they were on their way and arrived at 08:30 am each side. I simply cannot rate this company high enough, they took a task I had anxiety about and totally sorted it and were patient with my questions etc. Also, their quote came in as one of the lowest I received. This was for a part / shared load with a window week for delivery - which they excelled as they delivered on day 1 of the proposed delivery week, despite the great storm in Ireland. Would use this company again without hesitation.
Avoid at all costs.
Unfortunately our experience ended extremely badly. The packing of our late Mother’s treasured belongings was so dreadful, that many of the antiques, art and valuables were destroyed or irreparably damaged. It was an altogether heartbreaking experience. No care or respect was shown for any of the things entrusted to their care. So sad.
Fabulous service when I was in trouble…
Fabulous service when I was in trouble with my pendant
Very expensive lesson
Initial quote and engagement with team was very good, very reassuring with respect to the management of our house move and logistics around same especially potential for small change in closing dates. Packing materials delivered as per quote which was excellent. Unfortunately our closing date was moved by a couple of days and careline was unable to facilitate a reasonable solution (no need to go into more detail on this) all be it I understand they are very busy however we were charged a “cancellation fee” of 60% of the invoice value which again I appreciate is part of the small print terms and conditions. The communication with the team during booking and planning for the move was excellent and invoice paid promptly however once the small issue arose with change closing date the communication especially around cancellation fees was very poor and I felt like we were just disregarded once our move couldn’t be facilitated. I raised the cancellation fee and engagement with both the accounts team and primary person we were dealing with which was just ignored and refused to acknowledge anything. This was a very expensive lesson for us and based on this experience I wouldn’t recommended careline to anyone looking for a removals company.
Wow wee
Wow , I'm a bit underwhelmed by this company. If your thinking of using them please read the following.
My shipment was collected late December 2023 from Ireland for arrival in Spain for January 2024. Total of 39 boxes and 12 other wrapped items , my boxes 'apart from one' did not make it to my house .
I contacted Ven Mamac and also the Dublin depot to relay my concern .
After initially contacting Dublin I was told they will email Ven, but i had no reply from him for days . Eventually Ven told me he had to "email' Dublin depot for an update! By all accounts my missing box which weighted 20+kg was left in the Dublin depot ( boxes like this don't go missing ) and therefore never made it to
Spain. The problem was that when my cargo was being shipped from my house in Ireland the guy told me he didn't have enough labels to itemise everything so just started hand writing on boxes for his own records, but I didn't think this was a problem I presumed this was a system they had .
Anyway I'm down some valuable items a brand new Canon camera some very sentimental items being some but I'm sorry to say I'm disappointed with the lack of care and the shifting of responsibility between the two warehouses and not even an apology from Mairead (Ireland) or Ven (Spain) or Niall (Ireland) . All I got eventually is we don't know where its gone !
I just could not recommend this company.
Avoid Avoid Avoid
We moved house from Belfast to England. Careline's Belfast office guaranteed us a delivery date, but as soon as our money left our bank account, the delivery date was no longer guaranteed, they never returned our calls and they made the whole moving process 10000 x more stressful than it should have been.
They will lie through their teeth to get you to use their company and then screw you over. We got our stuff two weeks after they'd collected it. TWO WEEKS!!! Trying to actually get them to deliver it was a whole other story. The stuff we got from them was all in damp crumbly boxes from being in "storage".
I would avoid this company entirely.
