Untrustworthy company

Untrustworthy company. We had to take a quick PCR test and they advertised for a 3 hour service. We went there and got tested, but nothing after 3 hours. Also after 4 hours, no news. Than I contacted them and they said that the results were there and they would sent it to us. I had paid 40 euro more for the quick test, i believe i should not have to call them for a result with this amount of money. Don't expect them to give you the results in time if you order an emergency test. And also, don't expect them to respond to claims or complaints, I sent them an email 20 days ago and no answer whatsoever.

Not a reliable business

My appointment was at 12:00 on Monday.
It wasn’t open, nobody was inside the place.
Other people with their appointments were also confused.
A kind gentleman who also had his appointment called Carephar to ask what was going on.
They said they will come at 14:00 and will give a €10 refund for all the affected customers.
A man shows up at 14:00 to open the door for testing.
I booked for a saliva test but the man came with the standard PCR kit.
I got tested around 14:15, got the result at 21:00.
But in the test result it said I had a naso/oropharyngeal test.
I’m panicking because test methods are strict where I’m travelling.
I tried to contact Carephar via chat but I am not getting any reaction.
Not sure if they will get back to me I feel scammed.
I do not recommend this place it’s not reliable.

Due to an error in the system, customers were able to make an appointment before 12. Our apologies. The location opens at 2:00 PM. To compensate, we have offered all customers a 10 euro discount. This is also processed directly in the system.

On the chat you will receive an automatic message if no employees are available, that we will respond soon. Due to extreme crowds, it takes a little longer. We also immediately corrected your travel document last night after reading your message on the chat. So a false accusation to call our Company "scammers" is unacceptable. We have done everything we can to help and compensate you as best we can!

I lost my flight

I lost my flight! I took a rapid test with travel certificate in the Utrecht location. They sent me an empty covid test certificate with no date, no name nor any information on it. I called customer services when I was doing the checking at the airport, but they couldn't find my data in the system. The lost all my information! After a long time on phone hold, they sent me a new certificate but it was too late. I lost my flight, I had to redo a test at the airport, rebook my flight for next day and cancel my accommodation. I contacted customer services and they told me they will just give me a refund for the test. (I really expected more from the customer service). Now after 3 weeks I'm still waiting for my refund. Please check the certificate they send in advance so this doesn't happen to you.

Use If You Need A Headache And High Levels Of Stress

Considering that you have to get tested a day before your flight, that you're in a foreign country, that you have to give them your passports and other personal information, that you are at risk of missing your flight and getting back to work after a vacation - it's just too much at stake to use a slappy business like this. We checked them out a day before, seemed ok. Showed up for a test, paid cash. No receipt. Do they even pay taxes? A guy said our results will come in between 9 pm and 11 pm. Nothing ever did. We didn't get a confirmation email or test results. I assumed that somebody had just taken our cash and pocketed it. It didn't even occur to me that I could reach out to customer service after 11 pm on a Friday night in Amsterdam. We had to leave for the airport at 5 am. We had to find an emergency testing place and pay extra to get home. Now, when trying to figure out what happened, I'm dealing with a rude and anonymous customer service person, who's blaming me that their employee recorded my email address wrong. It doesn't explain why my husband didn't get his test result either. No refunds, of course. Whatever their excuse is, from a customer's standpoint it's a SCAM. They shouldn't be in a business in any EU country.
P.S. Carephar's reply lies. "Employee" never explained anything or allowed me to check my email address. It's all after the fact, via email, when we've already left their country, so it didn't change a thing. I don't believe there was customer service available between 11 PM and 5 AM. There should've been a bounced email notice unless they use an outdated system. I didn't panic, I had to get back home and to my job on time. Proves my point that they shouldn't be in a business.

The employee has explained you several times, That if you had not received anything, you had the option of contacting our emergency service. You have probably chosen not to contact us out of panic.Of course we would have helped you immediately and checked everything. Because there was no notification from you, we didn't known that you didn't received anything.

The employee also informed you that apparently an incorrect email address was provided and that you had not received an appointment confirmation earlier. About the payment : we have 2 options: Online payment or cash on arrival. You have chosen Cash on arrival. You did not ask for an invoice on location. You could have received this, if you had ask this that day. The customer service employee has also informed you during your complaint mail that we still can send you an invoice.

There has also been talk about a refund by the customer service employee, something you deny in your story. You have been told if you send proof of a new test that you had to take, the department will immediately give you a refund.
We only thought in terms of possibilities and made it clear that if we had been informed, we would certainly have helped you. If you have not sent an email yet, please send an email to refund@carephar.nl and we will arrange this as promised.

Great service!

Great service, very customer orientated. We had our appointment at the end of the day, but we got into a big traffic jam and couldn't make it in time. I contacted the customer service via chat explaining the situation and they were waiting for us even if they were supposed to close already. The test was done professionally and in the promised time, the same evening we received the results with the certificates. Thank you so much!

Their accuracy was off.

I did a selftest at home and it was positive. So I tried to make an appointment at the GGD for a PCR Test. This wasn't possible because the phonelines and website were overloaded.
So I decided to go to Carephar for my PCR test.
I went to the location in Tilburg and it was shabby and the test seemed very quick and unprofessional to me. The result was negative. But my selftest(s) still came out positive and I had all the symptoms of Covid.
So I decided to do another test, this time at the GGD. These results were positive. Which were in line with how I felt and the selftests.

frivolous company

So i have appointment today at 17:50. Nobody was on this place, zero information by e-mail or phone. Tomorrow morning i should fly to Canada and now i gonna cancel this.

I had appointment at 17:55 for a antigene test because i have an early flight tomorrow morning , come there at 17:50 , nobody is there , there is no way to call them or contact them , sadly i paid all before by bank , so probably i loose also my 30€ , absolutly don’t go there! Scam next level and unprofessional

Do not trust this company for Antigen tests in Spain

Do not trust this company.
Made an appointment for 3 antigen tests at Malaga Airport. Just 24 hours before our return flight from Malaga they just canceled our test, excusing themselves that their license "suddenly" was taken away by the spanish authorities.
These people have no control. Of cause they new more than 1 day beforehand that their license might canceled and they should have warned their customers, so they could arrange a test somewhere else in good time before their flight.
They could/would not help us at all to find an alternative test-station in Malaga, which definitely is not easy on few hours notice. Very disappointing customer service.

I have just done an antigen test at…

I have just done an antigen test at Malaga airport and the resolute have not come through. I am going to be denied boarding because of your incompetence. Honestly how could you scam me in such a way.

Update:

I still lost my flight. You should refund me my money and pay for the flight I had to purchase

Please stop emailing me asking me to change the review. I booked with your website and the booking confirmation email comes from CAREPHAR netherland which owns carephar.es. I have already emailed trustpilot about this.

Are you going to get in touch with me either through carephar netherland or Spain to refund me the value of the test and the price of the new British airways flight I had to pay?
