I was also scammed and encouraged to invest more. Luckily, the further investment terms were just too good to be true, sending out alarm bells.

No funds arrived as promised, and I lost 10K Hopefully, these criminals will be brought to justice. In hindsight, 8-12% interest was always too good to be true; perhaps I was taken advantage of, but I should have known better. There is a lot of trash in this world.

Incidentally...despite this review and numerous similar remarks to their contact details NO ONE HAS CHALLENGED ME!!!!

IVE JUST DISCOVERED THE SCUMMERS EVEN TRIED TO CONTACT SITES WITH MADE UP PHONE AND EMAIL...probably got from the details I sent???

STILL NO CHALLENGES!!!!!

This is a straightforward account of my dealings with this company. I leave the reader to draw their own conclusions.

Early this year Care Social Properties popped up online while I was looking to roll over a fixed rate bond.I expressed an interest and I was contacted almost immediately by ‘George’ who was utterly charming.

It became apparent that my investment would not be covered by FSCS but I was assured by George that my investment would be covered by company assets. I was also informed that they received large grants from government.I checked their Companies House listing and everything appeared in order. There is an impressive website.

I invested £10000 in a fixed rate bond paying 8% per annum. I elected monthly payments. I supplied my passport details to verify my identity.

I received a certificate for my investment in mini bonds which was not the product which we had been discussing.

Oddly,I thought, my money was paid into a currency exchange company not a regular bank.

I then received a phone call from Steve who encouraged me to increase my investment. I declined his offer to help me cash in my premium bonds!

My interest payments were paid for two months. I chased the third month and it was paid late.

The following month the interest was not paid and I contacted the company via the box on their website.

I received a call from David who explained that the company were in the midst of being taken over which was why I hadn’t been paid.
He also suggested that this would be a good opportunity to increase my investment.
I declined and it was agreed that I would be repaid my full investment the following month.

That was the last contact I had with CSP. (17-06-2025) The repayment never appeared.

The three mobile numbers I had are ‘currently unavailable’ and the number on the website is constantly engaged.

I have reported CSP and the currency exchange company to the appropriate authorities who have been very helpful.

Care Social Properties (CSP) purports to be a UK based company. I was contacted in April 2025 by telephone people claiming to represent Care Social Properties (CSP). I was offered an opportunity to invest in CSP. I was told that CSP is government backed and holds a portfolio of a large number of care home properties in the UK. The money invested is used to continue investment in care homes which is government priority. The return I was promised was 10% over two years. Care Social Properties is registered company at Companies House – the company number is 13038881. The chief director is Angela Field, contact address is PO Box 4385, Cardiff CF14 8LH. The Company has a website: caresocialproperties.com. The company address is Dunbar Business Centre, 5 Sheepscar Court, Leeds, LS7 2BB.
I was told that my investment would be held in an ISA and that I would receive monthly interest payments. Communications were conducted on the telephone and by email. The email mails I received all had the same Care Social Properties logo on them. I asked my IFA to check out the company and she said that the company looked legitimate. I agreed to invest £12,000. I sent a copy of my passport, along with other details which I was told needed to be provided due to anti-fraud legislation. I transferred the money to a UK bank with a UK sort code (23-22-90). I received a bond certificate, signed by Angela Field. In May I received my first interest payment. The following month, I received nothing. I contacted the Company (George Brown and James Bernard were my contact points). I was told that the company was in the process of being taken over by a company based in the US and that all payments had been temporarily suspended. In fact, I was offered the opportunity to make an additional investment in the new company that would double my return. I turned this down and said I wanted my money out. This was agreed and I was told that the takeover would be completed by early August and that I would receive my money by 6th August. I received nothing. I contacted the company again to be told that there had been a hold up and that everything would be concluded by 26th August. Again, I have received nothing but now there is no response to my messages. I have rung the number on the website. This is apparently the Sales Team at Notting Hill Genesis. They know nothing of CSP. I cannot make contact with anybody connected with CSP. I have reported this to Action Fraud. There is no doubt that I have been scammed. I warn anybody who has been contacted by Care Social Properties not to invest. These are criminals.

Very difficult company to detail with. Promises made are not fulfilled.
