I’m disappointed to be writing this due to lack of support

I’m disappointed to be writing this review. The bracelet itself is well made and scans without any issues.

However, I later noticed that some important information was missing from my profile because I skipped sections during sign-up. At the time, this didn’t seem like a problem, as it stated the details could be added or amended later. Unfortunately, I’ve found no clear or easy way to update this information. I expected a customer portal or account area, but the only option I could find was a “contact us” button.

I contacted the company to ask how to update my details but received no response. I also reached out via social media, again with no reply.

Today I received an automated email asking for feedback, so here it is: this has the potential to be a great product, but it’s let down by a lack of customer support and a poor user interface for managing account details.

Reply from Caretag

Hi Paul, thanks for taking the time to share this - and I’m sorry it’s left you feeling unsupported.

We have replied to both messages from support@caretag.uk (that’s the same thread we first connected on). Could you please check your spam/junk folder in case our replies landed there? If you still can’t see them, reply again (or send a new email with “Trustpilot” in the subject) and we’ll get your details updated straight away.

A self-serve customer portal is in development, and feedback like yours is exactly what helps us improve - thank you for taking your time to share.

We have also checked our social inboxes but can't see anything from yourself or would have responded.

I've used a number of similar products

I've used a number of similar products, mostly wearables. Two previous NFC based products failed within a year, I switched to QR products because of this. The CareTag bracelet seems better designed, a bit thicker to protect the NFC chip. Many similar products cost about the same, but only include the first year of service. This is a much better value to receive 5 years of service for the same price.
