ITS A SCAM! BEWARE.

ITS A SCAM! BEAWARE.
THEY HAVENT PAID MY DUES OF 560$ SINCE 2.5 YEARS AND I HAVE BEING BEGGING THEM SINCE FEW YEARS. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO COMPLAINT AND CLAIM MY FAIR MONEY FOR KEEPING MY CAR FOR 2 MONTHS.

Its a big scam and they use your car to…

Its a big scam and they use your car to earn money and will not give you any promised money. They owe me 250$ as they rented out my car for 11 days. But when it comes to pay out my money they stated that they are not in position to pay any money to any of its client. So don't give them your car at all.

Ignorant pig-headed management who won't take accountability for how poorly the business is run. They operate out of public car parks in Eagle Farm which is NOT LEGAL. Acting with complete disregard for surrounding businesses. Management won't even provide a phone number to be contacted. Absolutely gutless. Would love to have a chat with them in person.
They store customer cars in the street, regularly fail to make payments and wipe their hand of responsibility when they cause damage to customer vehicles.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Complete scammers

I inadvertently informed the staff at Tullamarine (Melbourne) depot that I'd be away for two weeks without internet while dropping my car there. They took the advantage and emailed me saying my front tyres had leakage so can't be rented out and charged me for parking there ($25 per day). Didn't pay me anything at all even though the mileage on the car said it was used. But the staff refused to accept that. They are complete scammers. Please stay away.

This is a zero star rating!
Really really bad company and service, the one i rented the car of in Brisbane did do fake signature, lost the car key and made me pay for a new key and some other stuff that i was not responsable of. Overall 480$.

Beware Carhood is a scam now

Highly shocked on the way Carhood is acting and denying to reimburse my taxi fare from Airport to their location this time as they did not provide me shuttle service. Even in past I used their service and they advised to use taxi after hours and they will reimburse the cost.
Even after all the inconvenience you face managing your travel from Airport to their location and then pickup your car after hours with nobody on the premises in an aloof location which is very scary at night they are acting like this.

Guys please be aware as Carhood is turning out to be a scam now you will loose more money leaving your car with them than going to and fro from airport in a taxi. They need to be reported to the consumer affairs.

Professional scammers and thieves

- the don't pay the car owners
- they damage your car and don't repair it properly
- they steal components of the car and fail to replace them
- they ignore customers and dont get back to any emails or calls

BEWARE THEY STEAL FROM YOUR ACCOUNT!

UPDATE: carhood didnt provide any of the information or proof of their illegal charges and seems they have stolen from my account and looks like many other peoples. BEWARE do not sign any authority to charge your account with this company. Look all over the internet and the scale and scope of their rip-offs. Looks like it will go to tribunal to force them to repay the stolen money if not a class action is forming...

Been chasing a reimbursement for the…

Been chasing a reimbursement for the last 4 months and only when I finally threaten to complain externally do they agree to refund. Then two minutes later, another email comes through deducting further without my authorisation for road tolls which I took out not through Carhood. The customer service is rude and never returns your email or prolongs the process through their customer portal

Very disappointed!!

After receiving an email from a senior staff member of Carhood in May, 2019, I am still waiting for the promised payment of outstanding funds. 4-6 weeks was the overdue time for payment. Approximately $800 is still owed to me, and I am very sorry to see that the reviews are getting worse instead of better. Unable to contact via phone and it is very difficult to access Live Chat. I was one of your regular customers in Brisbane who sincerely could recommend your company and the great service that Brisbane office provided. But, the promises and business administration appear to be so bad that our faith in your company is almost destroyed. After the media on A Current Affair gave an account of how bad customers have been treated, I am amazed that you are still managing to operate your business! Pay back our money - please!

Avoid

Avoid! After booking days in advance, Carhood cancelled my booking whilst I was in the air, without any explanation or apology, but I assume because they secured a booking at a higher rate. I had no choice but to make alternative arrangements after calling them when I landed, paying 50% more than my 'confirmed' Carhood booking.

COMPLETELY UNREACHABLE IN AN EMERGENCY…

COMPLETELY UNREACHABLE IN AN EMERGENCY WHICH LEFT US OVER $600 OUT OF POCKET when we missed flights due to their complete lack of help and had to rebook at the airport. WORST EXPERIENCE WITH ANY COMPANY IN MY LIFE! URGENT REQUESTS FOR HELP STILL UNANSWERED A MONTH LATER! LIVE CHAT IS NOT 'LIVE CHAT' BUT A TICKET SERVICE - NO ONE EVER RESPONDS. The emergency number directs you to guess what? The Live Chat! IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE 10STARS I WOULD! ANGRY BEYOND BELIEF AT HOW THIS COMPANY LEFT US STRANDED. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Stay away from this company!!

Stay away from this company!!! As many others had experienced the same problem, so did we ..... carhood capitalising on renting out your car, but never will pay you. When asking for payment, they keep coming up with all kinds of BS. It's not worth it. Us, living on the Central Coast, almost 2 hours drive to get to Carhood in Sydney, then they drop you off to the airport, which if fine, but when you get back they are always closed and you have to find a way to get back to pick up your car, meaning paying to get back by using a cab or an Uber. This is it for us ... never again we'll be using Carhood. Rather will pay for a shuttle bus to get to the airport and then will be picked up on return, no questions asked. It is not worth the headache with Carhood, who's customer service is ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING !!! Hardly ever get a response back on an email enquiry, and if you do, it takes more than a week!!! How professional is this?Don't get a third party using your car only for the sake of making a saving on airport parking! And not mentioning the fact if you end up getting a speeding fine (as we did), it is an absolute nightmare to sort it out so you wouldn't end up having to pay the fine. Carhood keeps their hand clean from incidents like speeding tickets. It's your responsibility, because you're the car owner !!!! Stay away from Carhood !!!!

Absolute crooks

Absolute crooks. Carhood used my car for 67 days. Rented out for over a dozen bookings. Still waiting to be paid 14 months later.
There was promises early on. Then they stopped responding altogether.
Don't risk it. With the amount of people they owe money to, it's only a matter of time before they go bust.

Worst Service

Worst Service - They have not paid even the following fines since last year and the infingement penalties have moved to more than 1000 AUD

no Payment over a year

Rented out my car to them in June 2018 and I was supposed to get $500. Until today I have not received a cent from them.

I am really surprised such company can be in existence!!! Such a shame!
