Terrible company. Take your money somewhere else.

I placed an order for a bag and two suitcases on April 6 for a trip on the 22nd. Website said the items would be received by April 18. I figure that’s more than enough time. NOPE. I only got the bag. The suitcases are still in transit and tracking shows delivery on the day I’m supposed to leave. I later find out that they didn’t even ship the stuff at the same time, and one of the pieces wouldn’t arrive until the 29th.

I emailed them to say cancel the order because it won’t arrive on time and I’ll be out of the country for over a month. Did they do that? Not at all. They sent me some useless email about the delivery dates (despite me saying I’d be out of the country by then) and did nothing to cancel or return the packages. I could not return to sender using UPS myself, as I am in a remote part of Africa with sporadic access to internet.

I messaged them repeatedly to say that the packages were sitting on my porch and that I was worried they might be stolen. Did they arrange pickup and return? No again. What they DID do was stop responding to my attempts to get the situation rectified.

I got sick of their sh** and filed a report with my credit card company. Avoid this company. They are unreliable, and from the products of theirs I’ve seen, nothing they make is worth this much trouble. I own Rimowa products. They’re more expensive, but the customer service and quality is far better.

The quality and feel of the leather is…

The quality and feel of the leather is great and this collaboration was genius. I researched these type of wallets and Secrid was on the top of the list but they had very little esthetic. That was the only thing holding me back and this fixed it.

Elegant but not so durable

Although the carry on is pleasing to the eye , practically it does not appear to be durable or robust enough. Quite wobbly when moving it around. Also the divider in the middle moves around a lot and finds it difficult to hold down the content of the carry on.

I love this wallet

Great customer service!

I have had my carry on for almost 2 years, it has been on many flights and train journeys on several continents and has held up fine..... until last weekend when on an Air France flight one of the wheels was smashed off and the corner dented. I contacted Carl Friedrik on a Sunday, and they replied the same day offering a free wheel (all I had to pay was the postage), 3 days later I had the wheel in my hand and my suitcase was whole again, I am very happy!!

So thankful we invested into this brand. Yes, their suitcases are not cheap - but you pay for the AMAZING after-sales too. Customer services couldn't have been better. Very pleased, and already looking too add an additional piece to our growing travel collection!

Order not delivered

In November 2023, I placed an order for a suitcase from Carl Friedrik. Unfortunately, the product was not available at the time, so I had to pre-order it for shipping on the 7th of February 2024. However, unexpectedly, the product became available for regular shipping, and I reached out to change my pre-order to a regular order. Unfortunately, my request was denied.

I decided to wait until the promised shipping date, which was the 7th of February. However, the product did not ship on that day as promised. When I reached out to Carl Friedrik, they informed me that the product was out of stock and that it would be shipped as soon as it became available. I had to wait for an extended period of time, and when the product was finally shipped with UPS, the shipment was lost!!

I contacted Carl Friedrik to request a refund, but they were slow to respond and impeded the refund process!!

Handle problem

Love the case but wheeling though airport the handle keeps dropping so when home unpacked the case and tried again and kept dropping looking on you tube other people have same problem
