I have been renting cars from Caroutis…
I have been renting cars from Caroutis for almost 3 years now. They have EXCEPTIONAL customer service, both over the phone and face-to-face, and very professional staff who go out of their way to please you.The cars are always clean and well looked after. The pick-up and drop-off are very smooth and quick. I highly recommend them. Thank you Radu and the entire stuff in Bucharest and also thank you Bogdan in Sibiu.

Summer tire on winter!
I book a Skoda Octavia on 19 November and I realize that the car has summer tires only when I was already on snow road! So I could not use the car for 2 days! Nobody does explain this or try to do me a discount! How is possible to rent a car with a summer tire when outside is -1 degrees and all over the news they announce snow!

Dear Claudiu, thank you for your review, all feedbacks are important to us and we are sorry about your experience, but according to the contract, the car was picked up from Bucharest, where there is no snow and the temperatures were quite high, the return being in the same location. The law provides for the mandatory installation of winter tires on public roads covered with snow. When you contacted us you were in Cluj where we offered the solution to bring you another car, you informed us that you were already on your way to Bucharest, where there is no snow on the road.

The worst experience ever
The worst experience ever. They deleted all negative comments of real clients that have been cheated by this company.
They make money from the guarantees they steal illegally from the clients. Most of the cars are not even theirs but rented from other companies.
Their company is registrated in a small village in the country side, everything else is just a fake image.

Dear Maria, we understood your discontent, but it can be observed the fact that all your negative comments are still there. Our company is registered at the trade register since 2012 and can be verified the fiscal value, taxes paid, etc. because all of this information is public, we do not hide anything. Based on your rental contract you rented a Mercedes GLC from 2018 according to it you had the franchise insurance in case of damage. You announced us that you found the car hit in the parking lot and for the additional damages found when returning the car, the warranty/franchise was charged. The damages caused is: scratched wing, broken headlight and front bumper. Your statements must be justified and proven in court (illegally collected guarantees and defamation, given the fact you have a signed contract).

Don't be fooled by their prices. It won't happen to me again
Reading the reviews I was expecting a different service. The initial price was good until they fed it with insurance, pick up and drop off charges.
Extremely disappointed with the customer service as well. You need help from them, they will barely provide it, but only if you pay extra. For sure I will stay away in the future.

Timisoara employees are completely unreasonable
